I’m emotionally invested in the outcome of this series. This is fantastic! The house hunt is on!😇
We are almost to the end :)
Love you showing Meiji era houses! I like the outside and feel of the place, especially the sunken floor kotatsu, but this house would need probably 7 million yen to update and make habitable, maybe 10-15 million to be really nice. Your friend is right about the old floors being better, every Meiji era akiya I've looked at, its the floors from the 50s-70s that need full replacement and the 120+ year floors are fine.
Yeah, you have to look really deeply at some properties to see the true value. He is a smart man, so he will make a good decision ;)
He said, "Be careful! At least if you fall thru, I recorded it!" LMAO
Hope I made you chuckle :) haha
thank you for uploading ;) jump in to part 4 now :) ChaKachin XD (love it)
Enjoy!
Love his energy, absolute unit! 💪 Hope he gets all he desires in Japan!
Yeah he has very good energy. I love it as well. So much fun.
@@KickAssets Good to see you both having fun!😁
@@sixfootmidgit Yeah, it's a blast.
Its the Japanese version of the The Winchester Mystery House. For someone who is handy it could be super cool. I bet the forest lady could show you how to work that dryer! Very interesting video !!!
Hahaha forest lady! hahahahah yup
0:02 that's a nice Akiya You have found for him!!! Congratulations for another job well done!!! 😂😂😂
I am just joking, obviously! that's a nice intro though... 😁
Are You feeling better? How's the ankle?
I love all his intros :) Ankle hurts, but walking.
Kachingggg🎉
Love it!
ChaKachin haha
So spacious but so much work to put be in it. My impression - it's not the one yet. The little treasure of Martin's must be somewhere else. Thank you. The trip in these insides is fascinating. Martin as a slave? Hahaha!😃
Martin was my slave hahaha, but I fired him haha.

What is approximate costs to engage a company to clear out EVERYTHING from this house and start on a total clean slate?is it very prohibitive and expensive?
It may cost around 1m to get rid of everything..how ever if you do it yourself...A LOT less and you can find some priceless gems.
I'm not sold on this house even though i enjoyed the quirks with the hidden school room and stuff but i don't think this is it. Waay too much work to make it really nice and will cost a lot.
A lot of older houses will cost a lot, but you can also save a lot by doing it yourself. This place has a great location.
@@KickAssets Yeah it's nice when renovated but i can't do practical stuff myself hehe. need professional help.
@@VegardThefilmmaker That's too bad as doing it yourself can save you a lot of money.
@@KickAssets Yeah i know :( Not a handyman hehe
@@KickAssets indeed location is amazing of it. Lot of work with a house but there is asomething in it. Despaite of mess and tons of usless stuff, the house has good vibes, calmness...I like it
A perfect example in Japan of not keeping your house up as it ages because it has no value.
Maybe it was the path you walked but that house seemed to have a weird setup. It reminds me to make sure to throw things away as we age. Its too easy to just move things into rooms we no longer use.
Honestly, how much would it cost to bring that house up to the level of being nice? I see so much that would need to be replaced in such a large house... after tge horror movie was filmed of course.
Yeah, a lot of Akiyas are like that tho. Good location can make it worth it. :)
I have a job offer, but my real reason to move to Japan is to get into your business..... but you have the Japanese. First, how can I stay in japan if i wanna leave the job after a year. Have you started a business in your name? in your wifes name? and lastly is 6.2 mil yen good for teaching?
I started a business in my name as I have been here for 25 years and have permanent residency. 6.2m is amazing for teaching.
@@KickAssets Thank you for the response and your great website. Sitting here in Ottawa getting motivated. Visited Japan twice last year. Good luck, I'll keep watching
@@stevenobinator2229 Thank you!
Serious question...Where are they paying ¥6.2 million yen to teach in Japan?? That's not just amazing. It's unbelievably amazing... emphasis on unbelievable. Are you sure it's a real offer?
@@wendyon4517 Ya I took the job but, after health care, pension, taxes, per month I'll get maybe 300k to 350k. Total taxes are ridiculous
You have another client that is bigger than the house he is buying
Maybe his heart is bigger :P
Can't believe how much rat poo was in that house. Wear mask next time Colin
I always have masks ready, but sometimes they don't even help. More like I need gloves lol
@@KickAssets right , you like to touching all , like a curious child hahhaha, good you not taste it hahhahah
Ja bym wolała dom na Hokkaido, większy i bardziej słowiański. Wieś diabła, hmm, nie bardzo mi się to widzi. Ale jesteś światowcem , więc zrobisz, jak uważasz. Pozdrawiam.
I'm not sure what you are trying to say 😅
@@KickAssets Masz Marcina obok w pokoju, może ci przetłumaczyć. Skoro nie rozumiesz, to po co serduszko? Do nas Polaków pasuje północ Japonii, kultura Ajnów i domy w stylu słowiańskim , widziałam to na yt. Marcin ciągle na polskim yt o nich wspomina. Wybacz, już nie będę burzyć waszej sielanki. Pozdrawiam.
@anemarie5554 you're not disturbing anyone. Feel free to comment anytime. I'm on bullet train now. Marcin is in tokyo visiting other friends. lol😅
@@KickAssets Okey, zrozumiałam, znaczy lekko cię zdradził. Wybacz szczerość, fajnie jest pogadać z kimś, kto jest bardzo daleko, geograficznie i kulturowo. Całuski.
I am glad you can enjoy. Kisses back at you. :)
That is actually a pretty huge home for japan. Is it rebuildable ?
Yup, it's rebuildable. The location is good.
