Hey Dave! I've been cleaning my car on my street for a while now and the neighbours have seen how nice it always looks and I have managed to get there cars to clean! 2 cars today, which totalled £50 and 2 tomorrow ( same couple) and they are getting the full works inside and out, engine detail and ceramic wax spray, which I said 50 each, but if they do it together, ill only charge £90! hoping to be able to keep doing their cars, weekly, bi-weekly or monthly! would be a nice little side hustle! When you do it day in day out, you naturally become quicker without sacrificing quality. It'll take me on average 90 mins start to finish, whereas it probably used to take 2-3 hours.
@@epicautomotivedetailing I definitely understand as been doing it nearly 14 years. As u stated they must be pretty clean to begin with ie a few crumbs. When doing trade valets some are filthy ie seats want wet vaccing and carpets. No way could I do them in 90 mins. Also washing and engine bay cleaning.
A new jacket? You should have a decent uniform with your logo embroidered on it. It will impress even more customers. All the guys I know have them. 👌🏴
Yeah I was just being silly to be honest. I'm not materialistic so I litterally wear clothes till they dissolve lol. I got my own clothing for my epic brand though
I remember working on a building site in oxshott a few years ago and saw the owner of this Lambo drive past in his black Aventador with the PR05PER number plate! Thought what a legend🤣
Been there done that mate. In 2008 I got West ham and Fulham. West ham was ok but the drive was so awful I gave it up after few years. Fulham was good until mark Hughes took over. I was there during the Roy hodgson era. Was good fun working there but full of jobsworth staff who didn't like me on the premises so that came to an end after about 4 years
What a pleasure it must be to go to work knowing you got those cars to clean not to dirty inside or out nice steady day makes up for all the shite you've had to clean in past 🤬. Still waiting for your reviews on the autobrite range see what you think of them 😁🚘
I’ve always never understood how can you measure the cleaning power of a shampoo? How can you tell if it’s a strong cleaner or not ? Surely most of the time you using it when the car is already 95% clean anyway….
Their prices are reflected on the quality of there products my friend. Think of it like buying a car. Both a Bentley and a ford will get to the same Destination essentially but only one of them will do it in style. Yum dress V2 is without the best tyre dressing on the planet and I know the team now on a personal level so I know exactly how much effort goes in to them so for the odd few pounds extra you get such an amazingly better quality product 👌
I can't judge the products till tried. Sceptical that they are this good. My personal tyre coats as an enthusiast is art de shine tyre coat. You can't beat turtle Wax sealant for longevity as shown in torture tests. I'm all for trying new products as shown when looking at my kitchen. There is more space taken up by trying new products than space for food. The limited amount of products on yum website just feel over priced I didn't feel tempted to buy because of that. Albeit u got very excited about Thier soap so may try that one day. I'm using built hamber atm as has rust inhibitors in it for stone chips. I really enjoy your videos thanks
Need some side by side torture tests for yum products if they are this good to promote them and get the name out Thier as before watching epic vids never heard of them
So many good little moments. Here was a good one. Back in 2009-10 I think it was now I was Washing a car by a busy main road. Someone pulled over from Fulham fc and he got me a contract to do the players cars. Was long time ago but it lead on to West ham aswell. I got rid of them few years later as the driving was just getting too much but still was a great experience. The James bond Cars were an experience too

Hi Dave living the alien snow foam👽👽👽👽. What snow foam could you recommend to use with a Gardx car. I use the wash was and conserver but want to snow foam in winter to help get rid of road salt without scratching my paint.
Most snow foam is safe on any protection. I use yum, pyramid, alien magic and valet pro. All are great
Hi mate got a 03 ford focus 7 spoke alloys need a good clean very dirty any ideas 2 clean them t you
hello use the skinny wheel woolies, to be fir autoglym professional wheel cleaner is good
how do you create a thick foam
You should 100% try p&S bead maker next?
Yeah may do if i ever get round to it. the number of products to be tested in my house is crazy lol
see youre using the P180 again???
apparently Santa is bringing one in a few weeks times to replace my old E140
told you on Insta you would LOOOOVVVEEEE the ODK Solo
Yeah mate this is my number one pressure washer at the moment. Fitting stubby gun next week
In Germany it would be a dream to clean your own car at home! Would love to
I've heard about that. Are the rules really tough?
@@epicautomotivedetailing yes it is! If you would do it all your neighbor would ask what is going on and call the police.. really sad about that
They must be super quick valets buddy. I've average three hours for just a standard valet and sometimes longer on full valets. Must be quick ones
They done every week for real. Sometimes more
When you do it day in day out, you naturally become quicker without sacrificing quality. It'll take me on average 90 mins start to finish, whereas it probably used to take 2-3 hours.
@@HarryBradbury exactly, people will always question it if they don't understand
Thought what a legend🤣
hes well known lets just say lol
@@epicautomotivedetailing are the initials R A by any chance?🤣
@@charliehayter6992 no my friend
Part of me wonders whether you could approach local football clubs to wash cars during player training at their training grounds.
Been there done that mate. In 2008 I got West ham and Fulham. West ham was ok but the drive was so awful I gave it up after few years. Fulham was good until mark Hughes took over. I was there during the Roy hodgson era. Was good fun working there but full of jobsworth staff who didn't like me on the premises so that came to an end after about 4 years
@@epicautomotivedetailing Hope you managed to keep some of them as clients!
Dave did you steal Asda shopping baskets? 🤭😬
😂 homebase actually. They were going out of business so I used them for my business
@@epicautomotivedetailing haha that’s brilliant fair play
What a pleasure it must be to go to work knowing you got those cars to clean not to dirty inside or out nice steady day makes up for all the shite you've had to clean in past 🤬. Still waiting for your reviews on the autobrite range see what you think of them 😁🚘
Yeah its awesome but i can't stress enough how bad it used to be for me... thanks for the heads up on autobrite
What is the best way to dry the car?
Towels my friend for most people
I need you to do my car
I’ve always never understood how can you measure the cleaning power of a shampoo? How can you tell if it’s a strong cleaner or not ? Surely most of the time you using it when the car is already 95% clean anyway….
I've tested so bad ones over the years mate. Without getting scientific It's either good or rubbish lol
Videos Epic and refreshing. Yum products....just had a look on Thier website.......just feels overpriced
Need some side by side torture tests for yum products if they are this good to promote them and get the name out Thier as before watching epic vids never heard of them
Dirt keeps your car protected from dirt. Not worth to clean or put a wax on ;) . Absolutely love your video anyway
Thank you
I clean more of my own cars on a Sunday and a massive van
But I am serious 😂
Nice one 👍
@@epicautomotivedetailing only joking mate you do a great job especially in the cold 🥶
Is not fun being wet all day in this weather
Fridays are pizza and 🤔

Pizza van has closed down 😬
What was the good fortune that made you carry on
So many good little moments. The James bond Cars were an experience too
Its Wonderous Wednesday not Fabulous Friday😁
Was filmed on a Friday 😉
@@epicautomotivedetailingI thought as much as soon as I posted, im not so clever after all🤣.
I think you have shown me the way to my next pressure washer.
@@romeric69 nilfisk p180 is incredible

I would have to have a weekly cleaning just to get the booger's off steering wheel.

Yes why not. These are some of finest brands in the UK right now

I see Dave is trying the “chaps” tino car care style video with the same title and colored snow foam. Haha I’m jk Dave I know you’ve been around a lot longer than tino
Look at my titles from over a year ago 😉. I been doing these long time ago probably before anyone else. Just testing waters with my CTR by using coloured snow foam as it looks awesome. But there is a massive difference between the quality of work I put out compared to every other detailing channel
@@epicautomotivedetailing oh i highly agree i was pulling your leg mate. just watched your video the quailty is top notch. GET DAVE TO #100k
@@startingtech3900 If only. I contacted RUclips admin and they said for my videos to do better they have to be suggested in browse features to viewers who watch similar content. So basically i have to keep titles similar as it matches what the viewer wants to watch. Sadly those ASMR video take all the views away from the creative channels
@@epicautomotivedetailing brutal mate. Some channels start “slower” but you are already at almost 25,000 subscribers be happy with that achievement dave you are doing damn well for your self !
U led headlight 350 lumens
I charge between £50-£60 for a full valet and that includes the engine bay cleaned. No way could I do four in a day.
I charge from £50 for inside and out standard. By targeting the big cars you get more money for less work 👌
Brilliant videos. However, on a general note. If we all knew how much water the nation wasted washing vehicles, I'm sure we would all be horrified. Throughly enjoy watching you videos. I wash my car when it's ditched 😂
Thanks Mark, yeah I imagine we waste so much
I would rather work at prestige end and get paid big bucks than sh!tty cars and put up with crappy punters looking for 5* service for pennies.
Be careful using wheel cleaner with carbon ceramic
Didn't use wheel cleaner on the alloy's my friend. Just the tyres and shampoo for alloys 👌
