why dont you guys in the uk call it "detailers" like we do in the states? why do you call it a "valet" here in the states a valet is someone who drives the rich cars from the garage to the front of the hotel and he receives a tip. was always curious?
@@startingtech3900 that's pronounced differently - traditionally a valet ('vall-ay') was a personal man-servant or butler. As such, they would be responsible for the personal belongings of the master, clothing etc. In the US this was then adopted to describe a hotel greeter and, by extension, someone who parks cars. In English, the word evolved into multiple purposes, one of which was the maintenance of a master's vehicle... And over time the pronunciation of the 't' at the end was introduced. The difference in the UK between detailing and valeting (traditionally speaking) is that detailing a car was a relatively recently introduced concept which was to go way over and above maintenance cleaning and to perfect a car's appearance and return it to show room condition - over time though the two terms have met in the middle to the point where they are almost indistinguishable. Hopefully this answers your question 😊👍🏼
Brilliant video, you’re edits are more of a programme quality rather then a RUclips video. Really enjoyable to watch. The best thing about you’re videos is how down to earth you are and take the time to support and reply to messages. Man this the most legendary Mercedes-Benz sports of all time. In case u don’t know, it’s the Mercedes CL-class which is based on the Mercedes-Benz s class w220 and I actually own one of this series I use the cl500 that looks exactly like this and I use the w220 s500l
Think the guy had sold it for few hundred quid that was before we cleaned it. He probably could of got more as it looked stunning at the end of the day

I haven't attempted polishing yet and need a new pressure washer really, I'm pushing on with the one i have (K.2,35) because it still works but it doesn't clean the way the one you were using. I have another Q: Headlight restauration, does it matter if it's glass or plastic in terms of the kit you're using? I guess it does?
And in terms of the applicator: Will you say it should be moist/damp before you apply a dressing or similar tyre shines?
