Go with a stage 3 camshaft, 1043 Bosio injector tips, full intake Swirler(not on ALH) delete and full EGR delete. Do a VNT 17/22 52mm wheel/55 mm tip Turbo. Do a 3 inch exhaust and 4 Bar sensor. 7 volt glow plug system. Dynamic Idle. Upgrade from a 5 speed manual to a 6 Speed Manual transmission with Stage 2 Daily Clutch. Do a Malone Tuning stage 4. For both ALH and Pump Düsse TDI engines.
Maxing out the upgrades on a VW TDI with a full emissions delete. From 1999 to 2015 VW TDI cars. It will drive like a muscle car that you will want to add a V8 Muscle car like a Ford Mustang or a diesel Pick-up with dullies.
Willie Fisher I just set it at TDC and marked the crank n cam sprockets before pulling the old and realigned it when I set the new. It’s fairly simple. I ran my vagcom after I had it back together to fine tune it but I was within .5 degrees.

What are the performance benefits of this camshaft any solid numbers that make it better than stock or is it just a reliability insurance part?
Liam N. Minute performance gains but mainly for piece of mind. Lobes were wearing on the stock cam
How exactly did you align the new camshaft with the crank at TDC? Doing my brothers BRM with the colt stage 3 cam soon

What did you get for gas mileage after this cam install?
Most importantly is getting rid of all these cheapies so a TDI will last 10 times longer. Eco Bullshit proposed by the EPA and California.
