Illegal Fireworks Start Vegetation Fire in Morgan Hill, CA on 8-12-2022

At 10:03pm PDT the use of illegal fireworks started a grass fire off Hill Road just north of East Dunne Avenue. The fire quickly spread to around 3/4 of an acre but was rapidly brought under control by Morgan Hill Fire Dept. and CAL FIRE SCU who are headquartered in the city.
This incident clearly highlights that the illegal use of fireworks in and around the city is extremely dangerous.
