Thanks for being here!
I am 71 years old now and my first HD bike was a 1974 Shovel and a friend and I put together. My wife and I rode that bike a long way until we traded up. Since then we have owned one other used bike and two new bikes. Now we have changed from bikers to trikers. Together we ride. Rare that I go anywhere without her on the back. For over 40 years we have rode together and in that time had many friends that either stopped riding or move to another part of the country. As for us, will not stop riding unless the future holds something we can't control. I watch you younger people on videos, videos of rallies of the day and think about all the times my wife and had at those rallies. We live in the central part of South Carolina in a town called IRMO. From that point, we have ridden to Key West, New Orleans, Canada, St.Louis and twice to Milwaukee to both the 95th and 100th anniversaries of HD. The only states we have not been in are in the northeast. Maine, New Hampshire and Connecticut. I think one my favorite places to ride is the Blue Ridge Parkway. We have ridden every mile of the parkway and a lot of it many times. Yes, we have ridden the tail of the dragon two times. That is probably the most wasteful ride anywhere. You can't enjoy it for working about wrecking. It is not such a big deal. I have been on worse roads than that. Personally I think it is silly to ride the stretch of road. So for all you young riders still learning how to ride and why you ride, keep on going and enjoy it while you can. As for the crazy stuff, you have not invented a damn thing. My age group can still kick your ass riding. Jerry Hubbard Irmo SC
While I think its absolutely amazing that you still ride with your wife, but I will tell you, I'm never going to claim to reinvent the wheel. Nor would I participate in a challenge of who the "better rider" is. It's not my style. I'm here to hopefully encourage and inspire others to get involved in the community or get out and ride. With that being said, I definitely will agree that my generation is definitely falling behind in promoting this amazing sport. Thanks for watching.
I 67 years old and have been a rider since 1974. Can agree with you 100%, sir. Ride to live, live to ride. My newest ride is a 2006 Heritage Softail. Plan to ride this till I die or the bike dies. Ride strong, brother.
Respect
Jerry , how long have you been in Irmo? I may have seen you on the road. I have cough a glimpse of a few three wheelers in Irmo.
I have been in Irmo for over 40 years . @@troyblume51

My sentiment exactly, Stuart
Nice
I do not know how you do it, but your videos are always professional quality.
Thank you Paul, I try to approach each video with that exact mindset. I appreciate you watching.
I use to love the rally, specially the rodeo, but all time funness one to watch was the "Honey I'm Home", look it up, so fun.
The Stubborn American was a blast. Always looking forward to the next year. June is gonna be warm!
I hear that it will be quite warm that time of year. Hope to see you in June.
Amazing video like always brother. Hey first time for both of us and I really didn’t think I’d win lol. Next round was against the champ so wasn’t like we had anywhere else to go haha he’s way too good.

It was great meeting you as well. Hopefully everything on your bike is okay. Bummer to hear it broke down right before distance run. Keep in touch. 🤙🏻
@@FullThrottleHOG Thanks! It was the cable clutch. Fixed it and just posted the vid of the journey. Thanks again!
Nice event! Would love to try one of those mini bikes... not in a race, though 😅
They are super fun. This event is one of my favorites. 🤙🏻
Chuck's is always worth a stop. For a fantastic longer ride go up hwy 2 through Kinta to hwy 82 south to Talihina
I agree. I was bummed to hear they don’t serve food and stuff anymore.
Man that’s almost as wild as the easy rider rodeo !
Hi Full Throttle Hog, amazing & inspiring episode, only downside was not beating that Challenger on that slow race😢Harley’s rule💪🏼loved the hotties at the costume contest, ride hard, Always look forward to your content ❤️🙏🏽Be Blessed, Aloha Kenneth
Hello Kenneth! Yeah, I let us down on that one. But, it was a lot of fun and I would do it again. I appreciate you watching.
Hell Yea !
Fun and games
Always!
Your wife is awesome! She gets it 😂
Agreed, I am blessed for sure. Thanks for watching. 🤙🏻
We are knuckle Up. Right behind burnout pit. Stop by
I think I live up the road from you and crossed paths at the intersection of M&M while I was rolling on my street glide ST. I’m actually looking at starting a channel as well and would love to maybe go for a ride with you and pick your brain on some tips and tricks. Hope to hear from you.
Very cool. You should do it for sure. Hit me up up on Instagram. I’m always up for helping other creators. 🤙🏻
Look like 👍🏾 a good time my brother. I live about 2-3 hours from there.
It is a great time for sure. Being so close, you have to check it out. It truly is one of my favorite places to visit.
The title. 😂😂😂😂
Next time you come through Yuma, I will point you to another station with amazing breakfast burritos...
Sounds good to me! 🤙🏻
Like Adam says get out there buy the damn bike!
So true!
Should come down to panama city beach for the thunder beach rally in spring
When is that? I just got back from Florida...and am itching to go back to somewhere warm to ride!
damn that definitely ain't a regular gas station.
Seriously...It's unbeatable food though and the price is the best part.
Good times brother 👊🏽😎
Wish you guys were there brother. Hope all is well. 🤙🏻
@@FullThrottleHOG all good Ryan... Hope you guys are well too!
Where in Oklahoma is this? It looks really nice!
It’s about 2.5 hours north of Dallas, TX in a place called Moyers. 🤙🏻 Thanks for watching.
WOW, I had no idea the Badgers were there 🤣, also you suck with secrets 😂
Oh! It got way worse. I cut out a lot. 😂 I should send you the full clip. Lol
@@FullThrottleHOG 🤣🤣, so I was told
Is the breakfast cafe the gas station a mile from Kriver in Moyers?
No, it’s actually in Antlers, about 8 miles south of Moyers. 🤙🏻
@@FullThrottleHOG Thank you. Will be their next weekend tent camping and riding seeing the fall colors. Will have to try it.
Never seen so much corporate stuff in life.
I think I speak for all of us when I say...WHAT?
The litte girl is precious.
She was so excited to see a female on a motorcycle. Heather spent some time showing her the bike. It was awesome to see her joy. 🤙🏻
I found Mjay's to be great for breakfast and the Burger Barn wasn't bad for lunch.
Oh, the Burger Barn is great. I wasn’t able to get there this trip. Good choice. 🤌🏻
Ownership of a Harley Davidson motorcycle doesn't make you a "biker" any more than an expensive set of tools makes you a "mechanic"!
And…what is your definition of a “biker”. That term is, and always has been, subjective. But, for argument sake, I’d love to hear how you define the term. I do appreciate you watching though.
@FullThrottleHOG I had to think about this for a bit. David Mann. I lived in Rapid City, SD from 1967 to 1983, and went back in 1985, 1988, 1992, 1994, 1998, 2002, 2004 (first year I rode, BTW), 2009, 2015 (75th anniversary), and 2017. I think you know where I'm going. A biker doesn't put a $40k bike into a $5k+ trailer behind a $100k+ motor home, wearing a $500+ dollar full-face helmet. I don't consider myself a biker because I can't ride anymore. The rally that I'm taking about, let's just say, it's not what it used to be. We are in the same category, you asked, we ride motorcycles, we're not bikers.
@@mattdonna9677 you don't even make any sense
@@johnsb1550times have changed, you haven't.
That fact that you don’t understand says it all. A biker would say to you “If I have to explain it to you, you will never understand”. Being a biker is a lifestyle. It’s not what bike you ride, it’s how you live.
I've never seen the rationale on doing burnouts I would think it would do a lot of damage to your internals of your bike? I know people have fun but man I would hate to buy a used burnout bike?
Yeah, I love to watch them, but already busted my bike doing a burnout...So I retired from participating. lol
There's just something about women doing that weenie bite contest... Bless their hearts ❤
Indian for the win

I had a really good time at the Stubborn American rally and enjoyed meeting FTH.
Great to meet you as well. Hopefully we see you at the next one. Be safe.
I thought bikers rode their bikes to bike rallies. I must be out of touch.
I hate full face helmets!
Okay
Think it was Ironhead Sally that said, and then us men ride to rallies. SMH.
Half way through and shut it off ff
Thanks for watching.
GET OFF THE COUCH AND BUY THE DAMM MOTORCYCLE!! LOL
