After John Michael Montgomery, Merle was the second musician I had a chance to listen to, starting with Mama Tried. World was so good to me to put Merle into my life.

I have seen many, many famous musicians play live. There are two people left for me to see live and I doubt I'll ever get to see them: Buddy Guy and Willie Nelson.
Oh please do yourself a favor go and see both of them. Buddy’s on his farewell tour now. They are two of my favorite live acts to watch.

Sorry Willie..... but I think Billy strings version of Don't think twice is probably the best I've ever heard🤘🏻Jerry Reed's version of Don't think twice totally on a different level for many years I thought was the standard🎵 and oddly enough never cared for Dylan's Don't think twice. Who am I kidding every version of this on my playlist.
