And like every issue that humanity faces, OCD is also well addressed by the Quran and Ahlulbayt. In this #100Days100Clips. Sayed Hossein Qazwini shares solutions to OCD in rituals by Islam.

The Prophet used one handful of water for his face, one for his right elbow to hand, and one for his left elbow to hand. Who am I to trip and use more than that. Three hanfuls are my max. And my ghusl is 5 min.

OCD, is based on doubt(waswassa or whisper of Shaitan), so in almost every aspect of your life you have doubt that if I don't do this or that then something terrible will happen to my loved ones or even yourself like for for example if I don't touch the keys of my car again and again then my car may have horrible accident or this bad thing may happen to my parents or children etc.etc. so to satisfy your self(infact satisfy your doubt or waswasa) you perfom something unnatural or strange things, same happens in your wuzu, ghusal or salat, infact you allow doubts and open doors for it to come and join you, i would suggest do let them come(these waswaas and intrusive thoughts) but don't pay attention to them like oxygen, light ,mild dust coming and entering your room but you don't pay attention to them just ignore them and do the rightfull thing and pay attention to only Allah's mercy and have strong believe that Allah is the most merciful, I hope and think, that, Allah will forgive you and not punish you, for what that is not possible for you or out of your control.
Islamic fiqh doesn't allow you to pay attention to doubts, it says certainty can not be overcome by doubt, either yes or no , so middle way of if, but, may be. This "may be" is doubt and not allowed. So please learn the wadu, ghusal and Namaz, and perform as you are directed by Allamas, and don't put yourself in doubts. Also follow Assim Al hakeem on RUclips, for OCD and Islam, he is a wahabi scholar and his research and solution about OCD in Islam is remarkable.
And please remember rubbing face, arms and feet etc in ghusal or wuzu is not complusry, throwing water on your body or arms etc is enough, for your satisfaction you can politely caress your body or parts.

True
I have been suffering for OCD for over 10 years. I can’t take it anymore
Seek medical help :)
i have a lot of wiswas in my salah and i keep repeating my prayers over and over again because i feel like i might have passed gas and broken my wudu. i spend at least 1-2 hours just to complete one prayer i really need advise should i ignore this feeling or keep repeating my prayers
Your condition is called Katheer al-shaq (excessive doubts). You should ignore them and consult a religious scholar immediately.
It is just 3 word letter but I lost everything ...😢😢
And iam losing now 💔 losing myself, losing family , friends , interests and gradually everything
@@fmeherin6338 me too
I just can't get out of this OCD ... Iam completely losing myself .. i always think that iam doing such things which is shirk and i will be punished for that and by last 4 months iam suffering with the cleanliness obsession iam doing my wudu for almost 15 mins i started fearing my washroom .... Washroom , wash basin , soap anything related to water seems impure to me feels like if i touch this then it will break my wudu 💔 iam sick .... Ya Allah this is too hard to explain 😣😣 no matter how many videos i watch about waswas it won't work coz my mind is fully occupied by ocd my mind stopped thinking nowadays if i say this is impure then this is impure i don't fight with myself for it that its not impure ..... 💔
Slm. I feel the exact same way. What helped me was : dry to dry surfaces - Najis cannot be transmitted. For example: Even if a baby’s urine dried on a surface, if you sit on that Najis cannot be transmitted to you. Another thing that helped with water : if when the water leaves the surface of another object (if it’s clear and odourless) it is not najis if it splashes back at you.
@@ishraaq5319 same things are happening with what is happening to you ... I think the same way you think ..... I just don't know what to do iam totally sick of it .... No hatred but it is the work of a psychologist or a psychiatrist to talk about the treatment of OCD. This man is just discussing literally only one symptom of OCD. OCD is way more than this and it is not in one's control to stop performing compulsions and there's a science behind it. Your Serotonin levels are also low if you've OCD.
Salaam Alaykum. Sayed has shared Islam's perspective on this problem. Of course, if someone is clinically diagnosed as having OCD, he should consult a doctor on an immediate basis. The entire purpose of this video is to share that Islam does accept it to be a problem and has even shared some guidelines on it :)
I did not obsess that much but partially i belonged to all three categories, though now i have decided i will not doubt, everything is pak until i am otherwise sure.
Thank you.

@@hafsa.ind.official3467 Yes, Of course
What if the OCD is related to trauma that stems from such a young age that you have a characterlogical issue? Would this make all OCD the same?
You should consult experts on this matter :)
I preformed istinja after using the bathroom and began preforming wudu for Asr. When I sat down to clean my feet, I felt a warm sensation almost like I was peeing a little or wadi came out, I did not dry my privates after istinjal, so I pretty much ignored it and disregard it as something else...
later, I prayed both magrib and isha in the same clothes because by then I forgot and didn’t know. I didn’t know that wadi was impure at the time and I also did not smell pee at all either.
Are my prayers invalidated and do I need to repeat them? Can I continue my daily prayer schedule if I fail to do so?

Haha I like how I can laugh to this video, and it’s not so serious
the thing for me is that i try to come up with proof I don't like to but it just comes like fore example when my brother goes to the toilet i feel wetness in his back part im pretty sure thats water from the toiltet so I avoid touching him can someone give a solutions for this please
Unless there is something you are 100% sure of being impure, it remains pure. achieving this 100% is usually not easy :)
And moreover if u doubt that something has become najis or not it is tahir... And u don't need to investigate to confirm it.
Wuduu would at times take me up to 30min.
Prophet of Islam does not like wasting water :)
I have this waswas all categories you talking about, and i am depressed,my ghusl take me 1hour and for wudu about 15 mins,i am very obsess when go to urinate,i fell i didnt to istibra correct can you help me please,i need someone help...
Sayed Hossein has a complete lecture on this topic. Do check that out :)
Same things happening to me from last many months iam just too way depressed and i started getting more anxiety issues while going to washroom
Once u do istibra as per the islamic laws then u don't need to worry about whether u did it correctly or not.... If it would be incorrect still ur istibra is valid... So don't try to remind it once u come out of washroom... otherwise it will ruin ur life... Iltimase dua bhai

In all the places i have seen it says that ocd will always remain its incurable whenever i go to washroom i take 2 hours and net says that to reduce the time i will always have to fight ocd for life time not like reduce my time to fifteen min for two months and then i will be normal.so in islam does ocd have a permanent cure or is it something stuck with forever like blindless or anyother thing.can it be cured?
It can definitely be cured. Or at least taken under your control.
Ocd is something that can be treated and can go away and it can depend on different factors for different people. Please ask for help from someone you can trust and/or a professional who takes the time to understand.
I have a question when i faces nightfall and touches my semen and after cleaning a thought strikes in my mind that this semne however had went under my nails and due sticky it may not be cleaned after washing my hand and this stucks in my mind and now i faces anxiety and thought arises in my mind now i m not clean so my prayers supplications are not valid and now i can not pray to allah..... Pleases help me out pleaseeee......please
In Islam, impurity works on the principle of 100% surety. Until and unless you are 100% sure (Yaqeen) or on a logical ground almost sure (Itmenaan) of your under nails being Najis, then only they are Najis.
Also, persistent thoughts may even make you Frequent Doubter (Tatheer As-Shaq). Consult your local scholar or jurist for it.
@@Thaqlain if my under nails are najis than what is the proper way to clean them so that every impurity sticky non sticky dust everything would go off.... Any islamic special way for it..... Plsss suggest
Keep nails short. Under normal circumstances, nails get auto clean while cleaning hand. No extra effort.
@@Thaqlain still i m not getting satisfy brother......help me out please.......what about this ocd.....this thought is not getting out from my mind brother please i always thinks that this najasat is inside and not getting cleaned..... How will i come out from these thoughts..... I did whatever is possible.... But i m tooo depressed from this...... Please brother do anything whatever you can do for help me
@@sayyednomanali2046 the answer is in front of you. It is to do with your brain now. As we mentioned, nothing is Najis until you are 100% sure of its najasat. The good way that some scholars say for this 100% is: can you swear to Allah that a particular thing is Najis? If not then push your mind to move forward with it. Listen to this from the same series

does Gusul have to he done in shower, cant you just wipe water over body?
Ghusl is about washing ones body so wiping won't be enough.
Ghusul is the process of reaching water to the rest of your body. And the Sunnah (what the profet used to do *I think*) is to have the intention of doing ghusul, then clean your private part, then say bismillah then do wodou then wash your hair, and then your right side of your body and then your left side of your body then wash your feet then that's it (PS. the profet peace be upon him used to do all that with almost 3 litters of water)...both ways are correct. Either go rinse water to your body or to do the sunnah.
Wiping would take too much, just pour water with a cup and that’s it
@@saeedf2690 yep and the intention is not to be uttered neither thought, it’s something from the heart, may Allah cure the Muslims suffering from ocd
If someone is facing problem in in taking bath eating and washing face and frightened from His surroundings is it ocd ...
When he take bath he think the water goes in his nose and he die this kind of fears is also ocd if someone is facing these problem what can he doooo?
Consult a specialist :)
U should consult a psychologist or psychiatrist.... Better is to consult a psychologist and he will treat u by giving u the Cognitive behavioural therapy (speach therapy)
Does the najasat deeper under nails affects our salahs?????? Will our namaz may get invalid if under nails deeply are najis????
