Hey Jason do I still need to do the 1n754a diodes mod in the back of my P327 deflection board when I’m using the lv2000 low voltage kit???

Jason, I have a Dynamo arcade and it's a 25' and I have a question about the monitor. Since it's a CRT does that monitor support VGA hookup?
I've seen a few Wells Gardner 25' monitor that has VGA in it and do all Wells Gardner has that or no?
The reason why i'm asking is because i'm using a Pandora's Box 4s+ and it has VGA to hook it up but i'm just using the regular jamma and I think the picture isn't sharp enough and the color is kinda green yellow and it's not bright colors.

Lol at least it's just case transistors that could get fried . The amplifone has giant heat sink on it for a reason. But on another note you could do that mod AND use the higher voltage input power selection jumpers that way you would only overdrive the monitor by about 5% ( best of both worlds)

Awesome tip about bypassing the LV circuit! Other than heat, are there other potential side effects from doing this? Thinking about using a 6100 I have in a Quantum instead of spending for an Amp...

no need to use an amp for your quantum the picture will look perfect with a 6100 modded or not also did you know quantum used a STANDARD res tube? no one would ever know . a stock 6100 struggles with a dedicated mh and starwars but quantum is just fine

Big thumbs up as always! Here is a funny thing that happened to me.... my ms.pac joystick wasn’t working - upon inspection found a bad leaf switch broken off, so I looked around and saw “ replacement Mspac joystick and ordered it . To no avail it came in mail and was a micro switch style and nowhere on description did it say that :-( . Now wondering who I can order replacement leaf switches from/ should I order all 4 ? Or are the leaf switches on a mspac not able to be replaced due to specific length-mounting holes, etc ? Any ideas or sites to replace these would be greatly appreciated. I really don’t wanna ways the more money than I already have, lol ( I’m such a noob )
Ty again for the great content and awesome vids Jason!

I built a lv bypass connector(same red type used on 6100) using your advice so I can unplug it easily, do I need to remove the lv2000 or can I leave it installed? Tested on my tempest/havoc but didn't want to leave it running too long without asking first. Now that the monitor is able to run like an amp, I'm planning on changing the crystals on my major havoc to the ones used with an amp. Thanks again for another awesome video.

good to hear man DON'T FORGET A FAN the amplifone has a better heat sink than your 6100

My cab has a fan in the back door blowing over the deflection board area like in the conversion manual, I was thinking about adding another on the top of the cab.
