The best song in ESC 23 for me. Powerful & deep voice, beautiful lyrics with a message, nice building of the song. The choreo was on point in the right moments, not too much but also not stale. I loved the rockets falling onto the stage as these underline the theme of the song. His running to the front also underlines what a soldier has to do in some moments.
There were so many meaningless and poorer songs in front of this. I can't understand.

@@kali_tea I am not interested in ESC. Because Most of it is not my music and always the same countries won. I heard something changed with the voting, so I tought maybe is it more fair now. But it does not seem so. I can’t tell you how the voting system works exactly and how many votes public gave to Switzerland. But I think ESC is watched more by older people. And I can’t imagine that they vote for those songs who are the best ones. But maybe I am wrong and older people Listen more modern music than I do. Per example the song of Finnland I can Hardly listen and also Sweden is nothing special for me. It seems that it’s only about the show, and be half naked or sexy. It’s not about the music itself and the message of the song Etc. Gave it a new try and watched a bit because they told its a new voting system but I am disappointed again. I was shocked that he didn't get much more points, I actually voted for the first time this Eurovision just so I could vote for him. I can see how his performance might have gotten lost in SO many high-note filled songs this final, but I still believe that his voice has something special about it (and don't even get me started on the message of this song). I will definitely be sending this video to all of my friends who normally don't tune in to ESC.

This is one of the most emotionally powerful ballads of this Eurovision sung simply perfectly. Deserved higher place, Im quite disappointed by juries, why they placed him so low? Not gonna lie i expected top 8 at least from their side. He did well also in semi final. Im really surprised. He didnt do bad with televoting either. Love you Switzerland from Slovenia❤️ You were one of my favourites this year. This lyrics touch my soul.

These are my favourites as well, I would just add Italy and that would be my top 3 😊 I don't like Eurovision too much but these songs made it worth watching.

Tattoo was really good and worthy of the win but I feel like Watergun defo deserved to win just a bit more. Everything about Watergun was absolutely extraordinary, and Remo really blew the stage away. After Remo's performance it just made the others feel kinda boring if I'm being completely honest. He just completely overshadowed the others and that really stood out. Not to mention the fact that the message is about a real life problem and trying to make life better, not just a random song about someone’s ex like some of the others.

This one made my cry. My chosen family (partner and his family) are Ukranian, and while I know I have no right to claim their pain for myself, it feels like my own country gets shredded. For some reason, this song gets it to the possible extent. Amazing job, Remo.

Remo Forrer is pure talent. I get that some of the songs that made the top spots in last years Eurovision may have been a little less traditional than this one. HOWEVER. I think the judging/voting needs to take into account if an artist can actually perform the song live at a high quality. Remo can sing this song over and over again on stage and it is always gonna sound like buttery perfection. He has little to no pitch problems, he doesn’t strain when he sings, etc. It legit sounds as close to the recording as possible. Whereas singers like Käärijä were flat as a pancake singing their song and yet still placed extremely high. Even Loreen (who I recognize definitely deserved to win) still sang with an incredibly strained tone through the majority of her belted notes and she won! Thankfully Noà Kirel sang her song near flawlessly. I don’t think it’s fair that singers of Remo Forrer’s quality are getting snubbed while less capable singers are getting incredible recognition.
i rarely cry listening to a song, but this song actually made me bawl my eyes out. truly outstanding performance with one of the best vocals of that night, incredibly powerful song with a beautiful message. much love to remo, thank you for creating such a masterpiece ❤

I've visited the Czech Republic a couple of times! You're a wonderful, welcoming, strong, passionate, hospitable, and overall impressive people. We love our European brothers and sisters!

I grew up alongside Italians, Albanians, Dutch people, Czechs, Finns, Ukrainians, and many others from countries outside of Europe, such as Brazilians, Americans, Canadians, Australians, Thai people, Indians, Pakistanis, Nigerians, Moroccans, people from the Middle East, Mexicans, and many more... some of my best friends are Russians!
