@@anujoshi209 Thanks, I'll try if I can get those. I am actually going to cook the soup right now. I will roast the vegetables in the oven and add a few drops of liquid smoke into the soup. I am sure it will taste very similar.
Hey, The purpose of charring is to get the smoky flavor as well as cook the veggies all the way through. U can even grill these veggies in an air fryer or in the oven If u don’t have either the sauté in butter, grind and strain the purée And then add the liquid smoke.

I do not have a gas stove so I can't char the vegetables, but I think a few drops of liquid smoke or a smoked paprika will do the trick 🙂
Or if u get a can of fire roasted tomatoes and puree that, I think that will work too
