Since you haven't used milk cream as a thickening agent in this recipe, its better to call it a Shorba and not soup because standard European recipes of soup tend to contain milk cream as a thickening agent in the soup whereas Chinese soups tend to contain bits and pieces of chopped vegetables unlike this recipe, wherein the whole mixture had been sieved before serving. Although the plant Tomato is originated in Latin America whereas the word Shorba is originated in Persian/Arabic cuisine wherein there might not be such dish as Tomato Shorba.

Oh man, that looks so, so, good. I would probably try this as a side dish rather than a main meal though because I have an enormous appetite. I have never really liked tomato soup because it just tasted like tomatoes and was really boring. I don't think it is possible for Tomato Shorba to be boring.
