Has nothin to do with poor install K&Ns don't always work even if you buy one for your specific car or truck. They actually suck pretty bad maybe you just got lucky.
Absolutely right. I have a 2015 silverado 1500 and my filter keeps popping off. Actually the reason i came to this video. I bought this truck with a cold air intake otherwise it would have been stock. Just been a huge waste of time and the filters cost way more than a stock one with absolutely no performance gain. Waste of money and wish i had a stock intake
I agree 💯..my mpg's are dropping and my fuel is dropping like crazy like its a hole in my fuel tank..I added the kn77 series and it sucks I'm gonna take it out and put the factory back in too bad I can't get my money back cuz the shit was expensive for some bs
I'm still playing and deciding what to do for air intake system. So far I've add an oil catch can and left those fittings open to get more air in the throttle body. I may drop just a K&N filter and drill some hole in the box for more air flow
Hey sir I see that you work on ford's I was wondering is you could help me. I can't figure out why my Ford f-150 will not crank or start. New starter good battery. Please help.
I’ve had K&N intakes on all my vehicles and never had an issue. This was just due to poor install.
Nah dude my shit be tight af and slips off while driving
@@brandonc9640 lies
@@brandonc9640 My 6.2 forged internals, cam, solid motor mounts with a supercharger never rattles off the filter. That's poor installation
@D G agreed 👍 💯 never had a problem I have a 5.3 cammed aftermarket intake manifold and headers. the k&n air filter never rattled off mine

Agree 100% with you on those aftermarket intakes. They suck! Factory-installed flows just fine.

IMO if your engine internals are stock and/or you aren't willing to pay for a dyno tune then I always recommend the stock configuration.
At this point let’s all just ban together and super glue are k&n air filters onto the intake so we don’t have this issue who’s with me!!! 💪🏼
Help me a lot thank you 🙏
They suck im having same issue as we speak
You need a proper tune for these to work properly
