Sparky: I ruined Fairly OddParents
Chloe: Hold my beer
Lollololololl
You mean for chloe an organic alternative lol
Sparky: I'm not holding yours you are holding mine.
*hold my wand
I was ok with sparkey but the new girl Was the last straw for me.
Chloe didn't even need to exist, you know who could have replaced her in sharing fairies with Timmy?
Tootie. She's even more miserable than Timmy and Chloe both.
Plus, she was an established character. Giving her some more development would have been interesting to see.
And, she's Vicky's sister. So they could include Vicky in a lot of plots naturally instead of just randomly appearing just because.
I completely forgot her name was Tootie!
Exactly!!!! A million times yes! Chloe is super annoying compared to tootie. Tootie was just miserable and wanted someone to be with
That would have done well, they even did an episode on it, so I find it annoying they didn't elaborate on the idea.
That wouldn't work with Tootie, because she be assigned as Timmy's actual sister if that happened.
"Fairies aren't allowed to produce offspring" -Season 8
"There's a fairy shortage so you have to share your fairies" -Season 10
That's why there is a fairy shortage lol
@@boybluejay6031 That's the joke. I assume.
Season 6 IIRC, but yeah.
To be fair, the reason that they are not allowed to make offspring has nothing to do with having too many fairies or too little.
@@zaknelthepony7124 it was all cosmo's fault
Cosmo was originally supposed to be the suave straight man to Wanda's slight scatterbrained-ness. How times change.
Right but then they learned about the stupid dad cliche and realized they have two dads. Cosmo and, uh, let me check. Holy shit his name really is Timmy's Dad.
@@OsirisLord and his mom is just Timmy's mom.
Reminder that Timmy's Dad's real name is Timmy's Mom.
And Timmy's Mom's real name is Timmy's Dad.
That is a canon thing from an episode.

than again that was his "this is still basically a mini series" voice over his "this is finally an official series" voice
Now that I think about it...? That actually would’ve made Cosmo and Wanda a million times more interesting.
Cosmo used to be good, or less infuriating at least.
CHRISPLAYER95 it was part of Random Cartoons, before FOP actually started
Cosmo's voice:
Season 1: Car Salesman or Game-Show Host
Season 10: *HONEY. GET THE POTATO PEELER.*
Jacob Miller Your PFP describes the Season 10 voice
Blank Blank lol
His "Season 10 voice" was around for longer than that. I think he's been talking like that since Season 2 or 3. His Season 1 voice is the one that sounds off.
Sean Wheeler Season 2 and 3 still sounded fine. It just got way worst
Honestly I didn't like the Season 1 voice for Cosmo, and I much preferred the voice they switched to from like season 2 or 3 onward.
I could do without the constantly flanderized stupidity though.
I personally find it weird how anti-Cosmo and anti-Wanda were basically forgotten about the moment anti-Poof became a thing
Like all the anti fairies
Or all the other characters that people liked
@@Julia-pq7lq The only time they came back is in The Big Fairy Share Scare, and it was just because of a contrived reason and they almost did nothing in the plot except filler and dehumanizing Timmy. Also, they are only in the background.
And they gave birth to anti-Poof for pete sakes
TBH, it seems like almost all the side characters were forgotten for one reason or another. Chester and AJ barely show up, Trixie is hardly mentioned, Pixies haven't been seen in years and Norm the Genie is gone despite being heavily promoted back in the day. It's a shame really, the other characters really made the show for me, just as much as the core cast.
Gonna be honest, the “Poof you’ve been framed, we need to get a baby lawyer” joke got a slight grin from me.
waltrz It was the build up to that joke was painfully bad
URFTBOUND4LIFE

"Poof, You're home! and you've been framed. Wanda, we need to get a baby lawyer."
Huh, a clever pun. That's shocking.
It would have been funny if that was the first joke they did
Its like half an amazing pun and half stupid overall punchline of cosmo being stupid
Eh, "clever" is giving it too much credit, it's the kind of pun that anyone knowledged in wordplay could see coming a mile away.
Now, if we're talking about the pun with respect to the rest of the episode? Yeah, it's the only line that can even remotely be seen as comedic.
It was a bit clever.
@@AeridesEntertainment Your opinion, m8.
Cosmo used to actually be moderately intelligent. His antics were more regarding his habits rather than his lack of intelligence.
Hmmm that too much like clever and subtle writing. We can't have that.
Yeah, early on he was mostly just sort of quirky. So was Wanda, actually...like, they were both complete goofballs, with Cosmo being more outrageous and Wanda slightly more subdued.
How do you forget what a TV is?
All the characters experienced flanderization on some level. Vicky wasn't as much of a sadist as she was simply a mean babysitter, Mr.Crocker had a personality outside of his obsession with fairies, Timmy wasn't a selfish brat and was more of an actually miserable child who would sometimes make selfish decisions but had a good heart.
DoctorPhileasFragg How is it subtle?
Okay, Mr Enter done in the FOP art style is adorable. Even when tempted to murder everything with a chainsaw.
Correction: ESPECIALLY when tempted to murder everything with a chainsaw.
He kinda reminds me of a joke I saw on Tuff Puppy in this style

They hardly show mama cosma anymore... It's sad really
So did the writers.
I still remember her ;) if you know what I mean
What about cosmo's cousin/brother idk
Something to note. In the original season from Kablam, Cosmo was actually the smarter one. Wanda was the silly goofball. When I first saw that season, I was shocked in a good way.
A smart husband and goofball wife? I had never seen that in a cartoon! And the reason it worked was because Wanda wasn't dangerously stupid. She was, as said, a goofball.
And thank you mister Enter for talking about the pitched up voices. It annoys me as well.
Actually, it was "Oh Yeah Cartoons", but yeah, that format was rather unique. I wish they stuck with it
thewittywhy gaming thank god for bobs burgers
R.I.P Mary Kay Bergman original voice actor for Timmy Turner. Hearing her voice still gives me the feels 😞
Christopher Millian she had severe issues with depression and general anxiety disorder and she committed suicide using a shotgun. Real tragedy. U can find a summary on Wikipedia. She voiced a ton of characters in the 90s such as daphne and many of the female characters on South Park.
When you consider that Butch Hartman made a joke about Bergman's suicide, and told Tara Strong (directly to her, mind you) that she was the cause of it, it adds pepper to an already salted wound.
jbiehlable yep. It was just plain fucked up.

Axe cop: "hold my beer"
I havent heard of axe cop before, but I would challenge you to look at it as a whole and you may find it has some rules after all, even if theyre hard to explain or figure out.
Theres a reason why that statement is true. No rules means the audience cant reason out that the conflict wont be deus ex machinad in the last minute.

I believe he was referring to shows (and other continuous forms of story telling) that have an ongoing plot and internal consistency.
Shows like Monty Python's Flying Circus and Robot Chicken are, of course, exempt from the rule that MrEnter proposed; because they were designed to be as random and over the top as possible. The Fairly Odd Parents wasn't and shows like TFOP are what MrEnter was referring to when he brought up the conflict-guideline.

I also like to think that the 'And you grew a body' joke was a nod to Hartman's Ten Years Later video for FOP.
He talks about how he thinks baby fairies, as they grow, their round bodies slowly droop as they grow. So Poof would EVENTUALLY grow a body.
You know, it's kind of funny...in Fairly Odd Baby, there is a flashback to when Cosmo was a baby, and he looks like a perfectly normal baby. I want to like, but...
Regarding Cosmo's voice, I don't hate it, I hate what they did with Cosmo's character.
I loved Cosmo in the very beginning he was charming, madly in love with his wife, and suave. Then they dumbed him down a bit but he still loved Wanda more than anything ("I'm not bright. Big words confuse me. I have the attention span of a rodent, and Wanda loves me anyway! And that should be enough for you!"), which was okay. I liked the change in character, he was still loveable and the right amount of goofy. Then, over time, Cosmo became a nuisance and embarrassment.
Wanda started off as a considerate and worrisome, but overall was wholesome and treated her husband as well as he treated her. Then, she became a little naggy, a little more motherly, which I understood and was okay with. Then they flat out made "nag" her only character trait and constantly talked about her "nagging" in the show.

McCrillis Nsiah I’ve heard that Butch wanted the show to end with Season 8 but apparently someone talk him into making two more seasons.
@@smoothst9303The show was supposed to end with Channel Chasers but Hartman had other ideas.
the new voices and especially the flash animation fucking HURTS
Damn Fairly odd parents really went down hill.
But I still love ❤️ it
I’ve made self inserts when I was 12 that are written better than the newer episodes.
In other news, the water is wet, the sky is blue, and we are currently as of this writing are living in a pandemic.
@@PlahaKumar It's like the show mutated the same way Jeff Goldblum did in The Fly.
I actually think I have a pretty good idea for a finale:
Mama Cosma is just as obsessed with Poof as she is Cosmo, so she gathers all of the major villains together to get revenge on Timmy to get him out of the way. She’s a fairy, so she could get Vicky in on it by pooffing up huge amounts of money. She could get Crocker by promising he could have Wanda and any other fairy that gets in their way. All the other villains get revenge on Timmy, and control of earth. Timmy would need to call on old friends like Mark Chang and others. There’s so much you could do here and instead of giving one of your greatest shows of all time the send off it deserves, you piss on it. Such a waist
That's sounds like a good story.
13:57 oh god, that fucking hanna barbara bongo noise
“Personally, I’ve never been pregnant before.”
B e f o r e
"Poof! Your home, and you grew a body!" Ok that actually did make me laugh
Sad to see how far Fairly Oddparents fell, I can agree with the description, my 2 top shows were Oddparents and spongebob, it is now Spongebob, no debate
@@HD_Segal Great analogy!
I like how spongebob managed to recover from its mistakes(even tho I do not watch it myself anymore),yet this show just kinda died
6:59, honestly that joke was pretty funny
I feel like the 'Cosmo mistaking other things for Poof' gag MIGHT have been funny if they had spread it through the episode as opposed to compressing it into the first minute
Or maybe if instead the joke be that Cosmo and Wanda had a huge, elaborate welcome with loud music, spotlights, balloons and confetti cannons that Cosmo would set to go off when Poof got home, (similar to how Wanda and Cosmo first introduced themselves to Timmy in the 1st episode), but in this Cosmo sets it off _every time_ a door opens, so when Timmy comes in, Cosmo (thinking it's Poof) sets off the huge welcome with the music, balloons flying, the kangaroo bouncing everywhere and the confetti cannons blasting, but realizes he made a mistake and set it off too prematurely. Timmy and Wanda reassure him it's no big deal and Cosmo asks if they like the welcome to which they wholeheartedly agree and Wanda gets to resetting it.
She starts by refilling the confetti cannons, but as she does, the door opens and Cosmo sets off the welcome again, this time Wanda gets a faceful of confetti that sticks to her entire body. But instead of Poof, it's Chloe. Cosmo apologizes and asks Wanda if the welcome was good and Wanda trying in vain to pick confetti out of her hair says it was fine, but a bit less enthusiastic than before. Next Timmy goes into his closet to get something, but as he closes the door, Cosmo sets off the welcome again this time, the kangaroo bounces on Timmy and Chloe and Wanda (who was near a speaker) gets loud music _blasted in her ears_ and the force of the music is enough to _send her into a wall._ Cosmo looks at the 3 of them as a bruised Timmy and Chloe look at him annoyed and Wanda, bruised and still covered in a bit of confetti, floats over to him, looking _clearly_ irritated but _trying_ to keep it together. Cosmo says "Was that one good?" to which Wanda looks at him now mad (maybe put in a sound effect of a train whistle or a bull snort) at which point Poof shows up. Sorry for the ramble.
@@rogue7723 that was funny. I'd watch that!
@@popisdeadisagoodsong9997 Thanks :)
@@rogue7723 you are so welcome! ^^
@@rogue7723 Hell, that idea is FAR better them mine
Vicki is secretly a level 15 wizard with access to dimensional door. who knew?
seriously though-whaaaaaaaaaaat?
1. It's _dimension door._
2. _Dimension door_ only teleports _you_ (and most teleportation spells require you to go with and/or only have one target).
3. You don't need to be 15th level to cast _dimension door._
My guess is that either she cast _gate_ with a custom focus component, or that door is some kind of single-use magic item.

Thank you for not making this lost media
Butch Hartman is the J.K. Rowling of animation. He mentions something in his cartoons that has NEVER been brought in the context of that world, and says that’s what it was all about the whole time
He’s also kind of the M Night Shyalaman of animation too
I can picture Timmy’s dad cheering after Dinkleberg gets kicked off the show
If Foop is a G-Rated Stewie, Cosmo is a G-rated Peter.
Pretty creepy how disconnected this show is now from what it once was, it feels like a parody
Ah, a parody on the level of an Aaron Seltzer and Jason Friedburg "movie" movie.
At best, the modern seasons are like a horrible, misdirected spin-off
Fairly odd parents should have ended with the season 8 finale “Meet The Odd Parents” It was just before Sparky showed up and has Cosmo and Wanda meet Timmy’s parents property and they have fun interactions.
True
Oh, I have to admit, that does sound interesting.
@@WillieManga It was and from what I remember from the episode (it's been a few years since I've seen it) it also had a really heart warming ending too
@@rubyaura9776 It has a nice ending but the whole "if jorgen doesn't know it doesn't matter" honestly made it feel like a FU to the entirety of the show.
Why would you keep fairy godparents a secret when you can just say that no one knows to jorgen.
Honestly it should've ended long ago
Da Rules pretty much in the grave...but they had the AUDACITY, TO KEEP IT CANON. (according to beast of friends, Timmy says it’s against the rules for people without godparents to wish stuff. but, he does it anyway. AND HE REVEALS HIS FAIRIES TO SOMEONE IN A DIFFERENT UNI)
"Foop wants to cause chaos because that's his one character trait." It's funny because it's true.
Welcome back, live-action Mr. Enter.
I recognise Channel Chasers as the Series Finale
Insert Final boss bucket head neptune theme music from SpongeBob Movie game here
Second-best Spongebob game ever (behind BFBB of course) and it definitely deserves a remaster
I remember having trouble trying to beat that boss.
@@andykishore Oh yeah, King Neptune was a bitch to beat. Especially the second phase where he breaks the ground and summons those flying guys that spit ice blobs at you. No wonder he's the king of the ocean
I've never beaten that game, because it's very difficult for a kids game! I have beaten the PC version, but that doesn't count since it's a much more casual experience.
Daniel Guzman channel chasers 📺is similar to Karen virus 🦠 even the guy from the episode is joadon fisser
I will be honest, the first time I saw the “Poof! You’re home! And you grew a body!” joke, it made me chuckle. Something about Cosmo being innocent enough to be excited to see Poof yet dumb enough to forget Timmy and recognizing that Poof’s design is just a ball was oddly (no pun intended) amusing to me. Not a laugh out loud, but a small chuckle. Just the first time tho, it got old fast. Still, a chuckle is more than most recent FOP have given me
So many side chachters where murdered to get these new ones in
Now that I know what to look for, I can't understand how I missed it all...
that flute tho during the PSA thing. LOL!
osmoc sounds cool
Why does this look like a fan animation? The others seeing the fairies without any acknowledgement legitimately pissed me off too. HOW CAN YOU FORGET THE MOST BASIC RULE OF A SHOW LIKE THIS, IT'S LITERALLY THE DRIVING FORCE OF THE SERIES!?!
Coming from your stargiant video always remember when I went and watch this video trying to figure out who the random witch was in the thumbnail and now it's explained.
What is that? They ain't following Da Rules?
