This is exactly the kind of tour that draws me to Homeworthy. I'd rather see a cute realistic house like this than a fancy mansion any day. It's inspirational but not so far from my lifestyle that I can't get any ideas from it.

If you put a mirror above the bed you’d be able to make the bedroom feel like it’s opened up more, it’ll also reflect more light. Mirrors are always so great for that. Love the atmosphere and how “breezy” your place seems ❤

LOVE the **light (natural) in Sarah's apartment, the billowy white curtains, the exposed beams on the ceiling, the terrace - all makes for a dynamite, embracing pad. This is sooooo pretty! I even love the paint swatches in the bathroom- they look so cute. All the colors are perfect so you may as well just make varying stripes using all the colours.

This space is well done. I like all of it. Though I am a minimalist, your style is beautiful. The small additions make your space unique and the details in your method of aggregating "things" is not so maximalist that I would eschew the space. Everything means something to you and that grandmother swatch is IT!!! I love how sentimental you are about family. The apartment is gorgeous. Reminds me of a hotel.

This apartment is so pleasing. Regarding Ikea, the brand has a genius for great design that streamlines/maximizes small spaces. I thought I would avoid Ikea in my home but in the end found that their pieces play well with others. Older "better" woods, the tight corner, the odd wall -- and they look great.
Your darling home reminds me of my little 500 sq ft condo in Sunset Beach CA. I sold it in early 2000s but think about it a lot. I too love the beach and so appreciate seeing your beautiful charming space and what you’ve done with it. It’s really wonderful 🙏❤️

Beautiful but I bet the rent is absolutely sky high for 450 square feet of space. Yikes! I also wonder what the parking situation is like. I lived in Newport right after college and there is NO PARKING in that area. I used to ride my bike to the grocery store & forget about holidays & the summer when tourists descend upon NB like ants at a BBQ.

Love the hutch and rattan bar cart which make this space so special. The Ikea bookshelf is perfect to give the stove its own little space and moment. The bedroom with its round pendant light is absolute perfection! And who wouldn't love to sit out on that gorgeous deck. But where in the world do you keep all those pillows? And how do you keep it all so pristinely white ? I have friends who live in Huntington Beach and Manhattan beach. These towns are just magical. How lucky to get into this amazing place.
