  • How I'm managing my grief and the depression, anxiety that has tried to latch onto the grief. I'm looking forward and working towards happy tomorrows. There's a new puppy in the family, RJ is on top of the world with his pack of female pups. And I salvage damaged valances and make them better than new. Hope to see you in the comment section:)

I understand everything you've said. I am 62, haven't worked in 10 yrs, In the last 15 years, I have lost 2 husbands and my 36 yr old son all too cancer...The grief, depression and general numbness can really play havoc in our lives.. Its a good thing you now have a part time job, and doing just part time may be another blessing is disguise. You are going to be ok, i am going to be ok, we are ALL going to be ok....

OMG! You have really been thru some hard times, I am so sorry for all your hard losses. Cancer is the worst. And the loss of a child, I can't imagine anything harder than that, no matter what the age. My heart goes out to you. You have survived it all which tells me life's trials have forged you into a strong woman. Someone I would love to meet, get to know and soak up the wise words I'm sure you have to share. I will keep you close in my heart and thoughts. Thank you for sharing.

You are a very strong and resourceful person. Life surely did hand you a lot to deal with at one time. We have all had our ups and downs in this journey. One thing I have learned is that I was never handed anything I couldnt handle, nor did I ever "walk alone". We all have so many blessings we take for granted. Im glad you reminded me to be thankful. We are all here for each other! Take care.

I'm looking forward to meeting as many of you as I can in person in my future travels. You've all become a normalcy in my life that I value and want to hang onto. Good to see you back. Depression is a maze in a deep hole. Keep fighting it!🤨
Want to add, there is a fear of letting go, too. Have heard it said, "as long as someone remembers you, you live on."
That's a death sentence IMO, to your loved one. It takes joy out of your life.
I haven't forgotten loved ones that have died but dwelling on them constant is not a good thing.
Yes, mourn, cry, grieve but do get back to life. And when the memory of something they said or did comes to visit, it is a thing of joy & beauty.❤💕

Life is precious and incredibly fragile; hauntingly apparent these past two years.
I believe you guide us to be gentle with ourselves every day, and encourage us to do everything we can to focus on love, forgiveness, joy, and the people and things that truly matter most.
Your videos challenge us to expand our understanding of how things work, and connect us with one another in a profound way. We’re all in this life thing together, and time is our most precious resource.
If we are willing to embrace it, we can tap into our spiritual connection in an authentic and open way.
My perception of your reality harbors a deep admiration for your tenacity, your extensive skillset, and your ability to prioritize & tackle whatever you choose to put your blood, sweat, and tears into as you grow stronger with every pursuit.

Yup... I get it. My mom died September 2015 and 9 months later June 2016 my dad died. I was grieving horribly for my mom and then lost my dad on top of it and went into a headspin of horrendous grief for 5 years straight. I didn't care about anything... My house was a mess and I was a mess and I didn't care about anything... All I did was cry all the time every day. I fell into a deep depression, I ate all the wrong foods and didn't care about myself. Along with my mom and dad, I also lost my brother-in-law, two uncles, and my aunt all within 2015 through 2016. I felt like death was all around me and I couldn't escape it. Eventually over time I would skip a day of crying and then two and then three and so on until I finally came out of it five years later. Grief is the most difficult thing to have to deal with and I don't do it well. I'm good now though even though I will miss them for the rest of my life. I have moved on and yes, every now and then I will tear up but I can get over it much quicker now. After they died I became very lonely but I have learned to cope with the loneliness and accept it as a part of me. Life goes on.
