You can possibly win a grand slam, Masters, ATP Cup, Olympics or whatever, but defeating all three Nadal, Novak, and Federer in a single tournament is something unseen, that what has managed only one man, a great Argentinian Nalbandian!

What's crazy is that after Nalbandian, another great Argentinian player, Del Potro, would become the first man to beat both Nadal and Federer in the same tournament. Hopefully Argentina can produce another giant slayer to fill their shoes

Not to take away from Nalbandian's performance, but people maybe forgot that Federer was still nursing an ankle injury that forced him to withdraw from most of the indoor tournaments prior to the year-end finals. Imagine how much better his mentality would have been had he not been thinking about playing with an ankle brace or re-aggravating a preexisting injury.
