THANK YOU for pronouncing "TEMPLATE" correctly! So many people say "tem PLATE". that is WRONG WRONG WRONG, and it really aggravates me. Being in a business where they were used, you soon realize the proper pronunciation.
They absolutely are! I have a cricut that I use for overlays sometimes but I know that a lot of people don't have quite as many tools as I have. :) Thanks for watching!
You are very welcome! The last thing I want when sewing an overlay is to accidentally cut my overlay, I find having the hole there to begin with less stressful!
I haven’t tried using a double needle for topstitching on a bag, you have me intrigued! My feeling is that it would be more for aesthetics than durability as topstitching generally doesn’t come under too much strain, but you may be better off using a second line of stitches with a single needle as I don’t think the double needle would hold up to the layers in a bag as well. But if you are using thinner materials it would be a very appealing, the perfectly aligned stitches would look lovely. If you give it a go I’d love to see!
