Killer collection! Love the adrenalize guitars the most. Missing from the collection is a Supreme! Those are hard to find. But love the collection and hope to see an updated video soon! Keep rockin!!!
I just want one PC. You and Phil are both cool. Letting him know you found his stolen guitar and him telling you to keep it. Class acts. I've watched the Pawn Stars episode many times. I think Jacksons are the Ferrari of guitars. But Jacksons are alot easier to maintain.
Awesome dude! You have more PC-1's than Phil himself! :D my only criticism....get yourself a better camera so we can see these beauties in full 4K as they deserve :D
hi i love def leppard and youve got a great collection of pc1s.my favourite pc1 colour is natural like some of yours.i have a black jackson reverse heatstock.back in the day of adrenelize i loved phils guitars reverse headstock i thought they so cool.i see you have two 2 adrenalize paint job they too look so cool.now i play a evh wolfgang which i like a lot and also a gibson les paul and my jackson.do you remember when steve was alive he used floating bridges i think the name kahler or something like that.it was nice seeing them pc1s.well i wish you all the best.gary
The one PC1 ur missing (as of now lol)....the dark blue body w/ dark blue headstock. Ebony board, with 1 shark fin on the 12th....ohhhhh I love that one, total eyegasm! A bit hard to find. Chip, u like that one too? Have any plans to get ur hands on that one?
Whenever I saw videos of the X Tour, I always though Lumpy was matte black with a metal pickguard, so that's pretty awesome with the bedliner! Because of the pickguard does that mean it has top loaded electronics, unlike other PC1's?
There's a "sequel" to Lumpy that was painted in Matte Black but all the other specs were the same, including the Diamondplate pickguard and Matching Headstock. IIRC the rough texture of the near-indestructible spray-on "Line-X" Truck Bedliner and later Amplifier & Speaker Cabinet coating (I had my Custom Bass Cabinets sprayed with it, and the extra cost was absolutely worth it both in surviving rough gigs as well as not attracting fur from my cats like "Rat Fur" Cabinet Carpeting is very apt to do) was irratating to Phil's forearm, which he rests on the top of his guitars, so the Jackson Custom Shop made him one that appeared the same from farther than 10 feet away but was far more comfortable to play most every night on tour. "Lumpy" and "Lumpy 2" are in my Top 5 of unique, Custom Shop versions of the PC series that Jackson has made for Phil for touring and the like - it's the "Industrial Vibe" that feels like you could use it gigging with NIN, do *anything* to it on-stage and not only would it survive, but with the Line-X coating wouldn't even *show up* in terms of scratches, dings or dents! After an OG Archtop and one of the Hysteria or Adrenalize cover custom painted PC-1s, I'd pick a "Lumpy" reproduction if I ever had the chance.
Sick collection bro. I just ordered the rrost pc1. I like the typical jasckson feel; ebony board, thin neck profile, neck thru etc. I'm a little nervouse about the thicker neck and bolt on joint impeding my access to upper frets. Anyways, hell yeah bruh looking fly over there in the gear department. I got a ways to go before I get to g status like you 😉
It’s a surprisingly comfortable neck despite the shape. With regard to upper fret access I found that I had to keep my hand more upright rather than leaning. It’s just an adjustment. You’ll get used to it. Enjoy
16 guitars and $3,000 a piece = $48,000. but I am sure you paid way more than my calculation. Phil would be surprised if he sees this or maybe saw it already. \m/
I'd be interested in knowing whether fans of the PC series prefer the "Strat-esque" Headstock used on the PC models from its introduction in 1996 until Fender's purchase of Jackson Guitars and "reintroduction" at NAMM 2003. I personally prefer the original headstock - while a touch larger, I preferred its sleeker take on the overall design compared to the more hard-edged Fender Strat headstock. This is also the reason that if I ever get the chance to purchase a PC-1, it'll be a used pre-Fender original headstock version compared to a post-2002 equipped with a full-on Strat headstock.
+Ian Perge it seems that the pre-fender headstock guitars sell for less on the used market unless they have an insane quilt top or are a rare color. I personally prefer the Fender headstock and maybe that's bc that's what Phil is using now.
rockinchippy That's the direction I'll likely go if the Better-Half ever lets me get a PC-1 (she's a "Viv Girl" herself 😉) Actually, I'm much more a Les Paul guy when it comes to guitars (first & foremost I'm a Bassist/Chapman Stickist, but I've been increasing my guitar skills over the last 6 months or so) but I *LOVE* Sustainers... so it's either a crazy expensive Custom PRS Tremonti with a Sustainiac in the Neck, some other Custom Singlecut with a Sustainiac & Trem, or finding a pre-Fender PC-1 and hoping the tone of the Mahogany or Koa/Maple Body sounds kinda like an LP, and that the stock Necks (I imagine somewhat smaller than Phil's custom-carved Baseball Bats) *feel* more like a LP's in my hand. ...or maybe I should just accept the PC-1 as it's own thing and dig it's Super-Stratness! 👍🏼
Hey man I’m curious, how do to manage to get all these guitars that Phil actually played? I was at the show on 8/6/16 in Madison and saw the hysteria arch top and was blown away!
Hey Clark, most of these belong to Brooks Burton. It's a good question! I think he must have had a connection with Phil's tech. I am not really sure. He is on Facebook and I am sure would be glad to fill in the details.
Nice collection, thanks for the overview. I have a PC1 Shred that I am interested in selling. Would you guys be interested in adding that to the collection? :)
Strange to hear the voice. So you sell the imperfect stuff. That makes you crazy. Love the 98. it looks good on ebay ,but these guitars don't seem to have that value. Put a Lp on ebay at or under market price and it flys. The fret board on the ebay 98 is the most amazing one I've ever seen. Ever interested in selling a signed trem plate for OUR koa?
I'm a huge DL and PC-1 fan! Curious as to what you think of the Jackson PC-1 when compared to a Schecter Blackjack SLS C-1 or the new Fender EOB? They all have sustainers but the Schecter and Fender cost about one third of what a new PC-1 goes for. I've seen some RUclips videos where if I closed my eyes long enough, the Blackjack SLS C-1 sounded nearly identical to a PC-1. Check these out first before you respond with a comparison though! ruclips.net/video/TggEyy7qDQ4/видео.html ruclips.net/video/v1cst1ReKW0/видео.html ruclips.net/video/vIxoep-3gm0/видео.html
rockinchippy I've dug the tone and the style of the PC Supreme both in videos as well as live, but I think the body shape was a little wonky & the neck too big for a "Modern/Futuristic Shred Singlecut", and frankly the price range Jackson was talking about was WELL above what most players would spend on it, from the comments I've read on guitar forums ("Normal" Players, not you and Brooks! 😁). Plus, the name *did* sound like Phil's Signature Fast-Food Vegan Burger... "I'd like a PC Supreme, Medium Fries & Protein Shake for after my Kickboxing Training" I've heard the Jackson Custom Shop will take orders for them, but I can't even imagine the cost of it from that route! At that price, I'd rather have an PC Archtop like Phil's original with the Pearlescent White finish. I'm pretty sure I'd dig the concave body shape, as it's very similar to the the tons of Spector Basses that are most of my "Main Players" in Bassland.
Amazing obsession with PC1 models, a beautiful collection.
Killer collection! Love the adrenalize guitars the most. Missing from the collection is a Supreme! Those are hard to find. But love the collection and hope to see an updated video soon! Keep rockin!!!
Beautiful guitars, awesome collection! Cheers 🍻
Cool axes! Love the Archtop but they all look killer! :)
+bwm5150 dude I have something very special on order ! You are gonna love it !
What is it that's on special order? I'd imagine you got it by now. :)
Wow what a collection. Crazy awesome!!
Love the collection!!

Gorgeous

I just bought a 2014 Ninja. I understand the obsession.
I have a PC1, chlorine blue, 2010, i think. I only gripe is that they don't come with SS frets.
The very first Koa is my favorite. I'm not a fan of maple necks so the rosewood ones would be my next favorite. You guys are diehard Phil fans.
Thanks - The other KOA I had made at the same time was a KOA to, and rosewood fingerboard. Phil played that live and liked it.
Archtop with the Hysteria cover is the coolest guitar.

Completely fuckin' badass!!
wow you guys aren't f*cking around!
+Moltisanti haha yes we aren't

+mhasan666 we sent him a photo :)
$3000 is street price for a standard PC-1. Many of these are limited editions worth way more! Awesome collection!

How in the world did you get this many PC-1's??? You have more than Phil.....
It's a combined collection....but it's about to get even larger lol
rockinchippy wow...... how many combined collections are there?
Whats the next stage once you go 'full Phil' - coz you are way beyond that!!
+Flash Grover lmao !
what pickups are in the 1995 Adrenalize Dinky? Are they Active or they Super Distortions with Poleless Covers?
Pretty sure they are super distortions
Nice collection, thanks for the overview. I have a PC1 Shred that I am interested in selling. Would you guys be interested in adding that to the collection? :)
+Acaroglan yes please ! Message at Rockinchippy@aol.com
Thanks, will do.
Acaroglan I'd be interested in that guitar too, if doesn't work out - alebrady@yahoo.com
So the 98s you got from the wpb guy were those two twins.
Are you guy professional guitar players/musicians...or just collectors?
I cannot speak for Brooks but guitar playing is my hobby.

How much did that Hysteria paint job cost?
Dan charges close to $1600 with assembly ... it also takes time.
if you’re ever looking to give one away... let me know!!

It seems he has moved on to the X-Troyers which are impossible to get. ugh!
How in the hell did you get these..each one cost 3k s piece...rare at that...
Only 4 of these are mine....Brooks is a lifelong collector so he has been at this a long time
Brooks is that you?
Yes it is
You well over$ 500,000 worth of gear there
The I'm
