Another great video, thanks for sharing your thought process! I"m just a DIY'r but have built about a half a dozen systems and there seems to be an interest from my friends to get started with solar and your content helps me direct them! Thanks again
Really like your videos. Thanks for sharing. On the last 24v you used the sok batteries. This one was epoch batteries. How do you decide which way to go?
Great video! Any chance you could put the part number or link to the USB 12V power adapter on here? I have the 7” screen for my Cerbo GX but never knew you shouldn’t try using a 25’ or longer USB extension. Is that part easy to install?
Thanks for the video. Just wondering what your thoughts are on the new 3.5 firmware version for the Cerbo GX might be? Perhaps this could be a topic for the next video ?
Might be a good idea. It’s been on my mind. There is a lot to like, clearly they took some ideas from GUI Mods. At the same time, my lizard brain likes some colors. I’d have liked to see some color differences for each type of power like before. However there could be some accessibility issues around that and color blindness.
Biggest issue might be wire sizing, it’s all 6 gauge, so 50a is good limit to stay under. That means 6000va/ watts is saturating the wiring. 8000 would be fine to handle start up loads, you just better know what you’re doing or increase your AC wire sizing. I personally run a 2x 3000va system for 6000 Va single phase. Just simpler for me, we still run 2 ACs, electric water heater, convection oven, etc. Just my $.02

I would definitely like to see how you program the Multiplus and install the GUI mods
GUI mods are not enabled with the new UI. The new UI for touch pretty much covers it all
Thanks for sharing. Great video. Thanks Don
Hey could you put a link for the backing cover you use between mounting board and components. Thanks man, enjoy the videos and the dogs

If you want to do a single inverter 48 volt system, what keeps you from using the the 48 / 8,000 inverter and not doing two phase?

@sotasolar thank you for your time. I'm just trying to learn about this and you do a great job of explaining it thank you
You mentioned 2/0 wire for the dc side of the MP2 inverter. Doesn't the 24v MP2 inverter call for 1/0 wire?
What size mega fuse do i install going from lynx to the 12v rv system?
If 6 awg 80 amp is foot, maybe as much as 100. For 4 awg , 125-150a
Where’s the best website to download the GUI mods?
