Most of Canada's population is found very close to the US border though (probably because it gets much colder farther north); so it's not actually like it's evenly spread throughout the country. So in essence the actual population is much denser.

Think of all the oil the uk gets. Most of it comes from Scotland. I will admit, we Scots and the English are the backbone to the uk but Wales and Northern Ireland help out a lot in the navy and army. So stop talking all about England and think about the Scots, the Welsh and the northern Irish that give you power in the UN.

It does make more sense to call soccer ⚽️ “football”.
How many times do you really use your 🦶 for 🏈?
A kicker is the only one I see using their feet most of the time.

3:47 I'm from North-West England, and it's sunny quite a lot, even in the winter. The sun to rain ratio is probably 65:35 - 75:25!

Hockey was played for hundreds of years before other countries like England modernised it. Hockey is similar to an ancient game played in Scotland called shinty. Hockey is often played at schools in the UK but its origins are unclear. Later came ice hockey, which developed in Canada.

Before the American civil war cricket was more widely played in North America than baseball. American football having been founded out of Rugby football which was originally played by the American colleges and universities. Before the law was changed, the quarter back could not throw the ball forward, another legacy of 🏉 rugby being line of scrummage from rugby scrum.

Its funny because until the 1970's/80's the british also called football "soccer". Infact "soccer" is a british word and not american.

CrazyInWeston wow the lies, we never called football soccer, its just an abbreviation that was used in north America for football association, football became a sport in the late 1500's originally used with a pigs bladder even then the sport was known as football, whoever told you that "soccer" is an English word should retake all history lessons until they stop lying

In rugby you get less protection and you can only pass backwards. In football you get more protection and you can pass forwards and backwards.

5:36 | That photo is old. Walkers sold Monster Munch.
9:12 | It's Cricket. Football is more popular but cricket is the national sport.
9:28 | The picture looks like it's from Assassins Creed.

Canadian here. This video is old but I still wanted to point out: Alberta (I don't know about other provinces) sells milk only in jugs not bags. They also sell liquor in convenience stores. Ontario now sells beer in certain grocery stores also.
