    my wife is filipino. and right away I recognized what you were eating. that's the thing about filipino hospitality. even in the Philippines when I went with my wife in 2017. in the evening the men gather around a a table and drink alcohol and eat pork. you could be just out for a walk and pass by someones house and they will invite you over for a drink and a snack with open arms, even if someone is having a birthday party and you are walking past because you had to go to the store or whatever they will say "hey come on in have something to eat and drink, perfect strangers and they invite you in to their party. just awesome.

    You know how people call squirrels "tree rats"? Well, rats climb trees just as good as squirrels and hang out in small groups if it is a fruit tree - like darn birds or something. I was riding my bike through a San Diego park after sunset and stopped at a garbage can to drop my empty Big Gulp polypropylene cup into a concrete can next to a short chain link fence. There were two fruit or nut trees behind the fence. I stopped after dropping the cup into the can - I felt like something alive was near me. My vision focused and there was a rat standing up looking straight at me. I screamed at a high pitch thinking it would jump on my arm or something. I swatted my right arm one time while screaming. Its ears twitched, turned around and jumped into the tree. Climb up the medium sized tree really fast. I saw two other sizeable rats turn and move that were already in the tree. They must have been hanging out, eating stuff from the trash can. I noted they love water bottles with water remaining inside. I guess even a rat can appreciate Poland Spring or Glacier or Kirkland.

    Hi guys, I'm writing to you from Australia. I'm wandering if you have a brother company in Australia. I have been watching your videos for some time now and wish that you could visit my home here in Australia. Living close to a lake and a swamp. A neighbor on one side had an orchid in his backyard and never cleaned up the fallen fruit. Although he is no longer there and the yard has been cleaned up and built on, I feel that the rats have found another home at my place. The neighbors on the other side has old cars stored on his mother's property, so all of these would have contributed to the problem.
    The pest control guys here will spray and drop baits and that's it. I have lost a pet dog because of a bait so I'm reluctant to use these poisonous baits.

    My attic pannel is right above my hallway. Is there a chance the mice could jump down while the attic pannel is removed, leaving the entry wide open???
    Cos this is the only thing stopping me from opening my attic wide open and going right up in there to see where the mice entry points are. As of now i just open it a tad for a few seconds just to throw poison blocks then i close it. The risk of the mice jumping out is legit the only thing stopping me from propperly going up there. I just cant have them in my living spaces again. Not after the struggle i went through last time.

    Seems like a pricey job if you dont get the rats out fast. i have seen rats totally destroy vehicles. Mice seem to be harder to get rid of cause they can gain entry through very small holes like a quarter size. Seems if you have rats you dont have mice and if you have mice you dont have rats from my experience.

    • @HillHyker

      That's not true. I did hear that but only a few weeks ago I got 4 mice on the roll-bar.
      I knew there was more action going down. I set trap, but the bait was picked clean. Used chocolate and peanut butter. No I didn't mix them.
      Anyway I got stronger more sensitive traps. They all got triggered but not bodies were found. At this point I was convinced I had bigger guests.
      I started on poison. Using bought killer in one fed which was slowly nibbled over many days. I went for then nuckler button, got the bread soda and mixed it with flour, another batch mixed with peanut butter.. the peanut butter was devoured.
      A few days later I found a very big rat almost dead.
      They had bored under the floor of an outside shed. Being careful to keep the rubble hidden under a water tank.
      I cleaned up the mess and put concret over the unfinished area. Rats gone, but have since cought three more mice, in the roll-bar on top of a bucket. The best trap of them all
      No resetting. Just keep mice removed.

    You’re suppose to walk in what is called the “valley” section on a barrel tile roof like that, that is the strongest part of those tiles. You should also make it more clear in your videos that you do not need to be cleaning out the attic every time to solve a rodent problem.

    • @TwinHomeExperts
      @TwinHomeExperts  2 года назад +3

      Absolutely not! We always walk on the first 3 inches of where the 2 tiles meet. That’s the strongest support.
      In order to SOLVE a rodent problem, especially if it doesn’t stop after 3 weeks, you have to clean the attic to provide visibility to possible entry points that cannot be seen with tons of insulation.

    • @TwinHomeExperts
      @TwinHomeExperts  2 года назад +2

      vm.tiktok.com/ZMRFRXccf/

    • @SubjectDredd
      @SubjectDredd 2 года назад +1

      That’s not true for those type of tiles, again the valley is the strongest part for those specific tiles. The only entry points you’re going to find by removing insulation are ones that lead into the walls or inside the house itself, the crawlspace works the same way. Closing any of those holes are useless. If you’ve done a proper exclusion in theory you should be able to cut a hole in the ceiling or floor and not worry about rodents getting in because they cannot get to the attic or crawl space to begin with. If you’re saying you have to remove insulation to find holes coming from the outside then you’re not doing a proper inspection outside. I’ve done thousands of successful rodent jobs and never once have I had to remove insulation for that purpose. I doubt that you have you’re branch 2 Operators license to be doing rodents.

    • @SubjectDredd
      @SubjectDredd 2 года назад

      Also if you didn’t notice, the tile roof in your tik tok is completely different than the one in this video. The valley is a lot more prominent in the tile roof in this RUclips video because it is a different type of roof.

    • @donny9078
      @donny9078 2 года назад +3

      Don't ever walk on Valley areas, each step should be at the highest point of the bottom third of the tile for maximum support.
