“The prefect taco”😂
You made a tostada lol
If Gordon Ramsay says it's a taco then it's a taco
@@gdgf154 Aaron Sanchez roasted him for that 😅
Yeah, I mean, if it's a taco, my expectation is that I get a soft tortilla. Hard tortillas means it's a tostada or maybe a chalupa. Big difference, changes the dynamic of the food in my opinion.
Actually it is a taco 🌮cuz it's folded tostadas are flat
Asian and Mexican always mix very well. Looks amazing and simple.

The comment section: "Wow these look amazing" "What an interesting recipe"
Factor in time zone changes and this hasn't even happened yet in half the flat Earth!

To everyone complaining about this “not being Mexican cuisine”, the title clearly says Mexican Inspired so....it doesn’t have to be exactly like your abuela or mom made it. Most of these dishes are made with untraditional ingredients but I will bet everything is delicious.
It's not that hard to make real Mexican food. Someone like Gordon should be able to figure it out.
As a Hispanic person living in Europe finding the dried chilies/ingredients is impossible they don't have shit
@@SpacemanXC Read the title and the oc
@@SolangeLOLable ???? You can find plenty in many supermarkets in Europe, especially in the UK
The problem is that this is Texmex inspired, not even close to Mexican cuisine even on the inspired side.
It's like saying "Greek inspired" and you get inspired by Italian food but put some Greek yogurt in one of the dishes.
As a Mexican inspired recipes are fine, as a Gordon Ramsey's dishes I guess they're fabulous. I would love to taste it.
me too
Im am mexican... and I approve all of these, brave and interesting mixing japanese and mexican.
pro tip, spray your tortilla chips with a mixture of lime and water, then springle some salt on top.
beware not burning the dried chipotle, its burns easy and bitters, you can rehydrate it in a little water and then add them to the soup with your cans.
thank you ramsay for showcasing our cuisine.
I am Mexican too and I do not approve to ramsey insulting our cuisine, yet again.
@@williamadolphe7921 It's food. You're upset over food. Grow up.
@@williamadolphe7921 "he didn't add mayo and corn so I cry"
@@williamadolphe7921 then you don't cook it
@@piwypd0 not what he makes. no. lol.

I couldn't control myself hahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahhahahahah
We don't really celebrate Cinco de mayo in México but go for it
…
Puebla does but for obvious reasons
It’s officially a white holiday now
@@MediCali951 every holiday is crap. Just celebrate every day like it's the last.
Yes we do you fool we get a day off work
Authentic Mexican food is more than just someting you eat-it is someting you experience. Traditional Mexican food has a vibrant history and is tied to the heart of Mexican culture and values. Indeed, one of the best ways to understand your Mexican heritage is to understand its food. Many of the tastes, sights, and sounds of authentic Mexican food stem from three main Mexican cultures: Mayan, Aztec, and Spain, with Spain being the most heavily represented. Gordon, good job :-) Happy hungry! Cheers, Domenico.
Chinese Cabbage BTW...
Prime example of someone saying so much yet nothing at the same time 😂 good waffle
The first sentence was enough to get the idea...
“With Spain being the most heavily represented.” Nice whitewashing there. Mexican food is mostly native based, not Spanish based. Mexican cuisine depends on three core staples: corn, beans, and chiles. 🤦🏻♂️
Tacos is also really popular in Sweden. About 85% of Swedes eat tacos regularly and 55% choose to do so on Fridays.
I wanna see there take on tacos... thats interesting what kinda stuff yall create.
@@mightyryan1456 We have made it into our food culture. Just like pizza. We have very different kind of pizzas than the Italian model. We put kebab on our pizzas for an example.
Lol. I saw this on ragnarok
@@mightyryan1456 it's mostly standard texmex.
I love Chef Gordon culinary style, you are my influenze by heart & by passion. I always follow you
Discada cooked in a little bit of adobo sauce and a chowder of your choosing together in a burrito is delicious.
What would I cook without Gordons recipes?
I have absolutely no idea... 🤔
He's got purposes to be s bit upset when he sees food not being prepared properly , when You know it show it absolutely love this Guy's lessons, Passion for life.
When Chef Ramsey making his cooking video is like music on my ears very relaxing
I love Chef Ramsay. I love Mexican food. So I say this with the utmost respect: This ain't Mexican food.
Now read the title again and think about what it is that you said that was wrong.
I like how 5 de Mayo is basically is not given a fuck about by us Mexicans
Yeah, we don't give a fuck either..It is just an excuse to drink some tequila, some mojitos, and eat some fucking tacos. 'merica
@@mikeaaronc77 “Merica” killed it for me 😭😂
I love watching Gordon Ramsay cook always have and always will
Thanks for sharing
Love from Nashville tn ❤️ 🤍💙
the beauty about Mexican food is that there is no exact or right way to cook a Mexican dish, it's pretty much open to interpretation. every house hold, every pueblo, every state and city has its own way of interpreting the dish. Gordon just nailed on this one, authentic beautiful dish 🇲🇽
Not really, plenty of meals where the recipe thousands of years old.
Mexican food is that type of if it not broken dont change.
I just already eat my breakfast... but I feel hungry watching this
Dear Chef! Thank you for bringing people together, for your energy and inspiration. You are an angel on the Earth 😇
Mexican cuisine is a mishmash off lots of countries. Love ther crazy drinks they have. Booze with lots of jellies and other stuff. Crazy and inventive as always.
I definitely want to try that.
That miso based marinade sounds like it would taste amazing.... never thought I would hear about Japanese/Mexican fusion tacos but definitely giving it a try later (albeit with chicken instead of steaK)
What about Mexican Korean?
@@patpatmoomoo5524 funnily enough I've had Mexican Korean fusion and it's fiiiire
Bulgogi in Mexican dishes is too tasty

Gordon…tongs, really… it’s basically a right of passage you gotta flip them with your hands! 😂😂😂
Mmm! love me some super yummy Mexican food!
And keep cooking no retire 👑 king of modern and grandmaster cooking majestic
Cinco de Mayo is NOT a national holiday and is only celebrated in the city of Puebla and gringos in the US.
What’s your point ?
Mexican should be grateful that Americans celebrate 5 de Mayo even though it is not celebrated in Mexico. It does not matter what day it is. I live in Miami and will be celebrating 5 de Mayo just to have fun listening to the mariachis and I will be making tacos for my guests . But using the easy and quick way buying everything almost ready like the shells, tortillas, canned refried beans, canned corn. Etc . I really do not like to eats tacos prepared in Mexico because they use different flour to prepare tortillas. Those tortilla have an strange taste. I eat only what is inside the taco. I am sure that there is not one Mexicans who celebrate any American festive or patriotic event.
You burnt the shit out of that tortilla.
As a Mexican a approve these tacos
British people don't know what black beans are? lel
Gordon really respect the Mexican Cuisine, nice.
04:49 That steak looks as good as anime food🥩
I just finished with the Taco
IT IS THE BEST THING I'VE EVER EATEN
Thank You Gordon Ramsay!
Fresheness brings a new meaning to fakeness lmfao
When I watch Gordon cook I become like Randy from South Park. Like when he places the steak in the pan away from him to get the seer, ugh oh yes, fuck yes! Just what I needed.
7:25 " that only mexico has , pico de galio"
Brazilians everywhere making angry sounds.
Anyone else watching this at lunch time and wanting to die because you can’t have these delicious recipes he’s making?😂
😂😂😂😭
These were one of the most sofisticated, elaborated tacos I've ever seen someone make.
Dude😍! food heaven
Wasabi mayo is a dip of old in our house.
Horseradish mayo and steak is mega naughty good.
Great lessons for the lot. Thanks
Gotta love Mexican cuisine
Happy 5 de mayo chef Ramsay cheers and god bless you 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏💪💖💖😁
As a Mexican, I’d eat all of this 😂
I've made the soup on several occasions, yet instead of chipotle which I can't get hold of I use birds' eye chillies.
Thanks from Mexico city Mr. Ramsay.
Literally talking about CDM in Spanish class rn
Thats crazy lol
Centre Defensive Midfielders? Jk
@@GIBBO4182 Yes, 100% exactly that lmfao
I never have enough Mexican breakfast dishes to cook for my Mexican wife the Spicey Mexican Eggs looks like fun. I’ll try and see if it a hit. Thanks
Don’t make this. If she’s a proud of her Mexican than you’re gonna get punched lol. Be warned.
Love it

Wonderful, I loved every dish in this video.
I love you Ramsey.. but as a son of Mexican parents I would say that probably Mexicans wouldn't eat those tacos.. (probably if they get'em for free and just to try'em out) but still is an interesting way to have tacos..
Tacos with mayo? No thanks 😅
I'm sorry you feel about that but hello people it's Gordon Ramsay he's a chef it's inspired dish mix with Japanese you can not be mad at that at all people it's always good to have an open mind and I'm pretty sure it tastes good as fuk he is a Cheif soo there you have it ppl😅🥲🤤🤤🤤🤤
I’m mexican & would dog those. Who cares if it’s not authentic, live a little 🙄
It’s the music for me!
Why everyone who speak English think in México celebrate May 5 as a big party???? 🤔
Love it. 🇲🇽
I thought street food got its name because its eaten off the street
that soup looks amazing
Love the recipies chef. Not really an important day, but viva México, why tf not?
Haora si te pasaste Gordon Ramsay felicidades 👍👍👍

Our mouths are watering !!!🤣🤣🤣
Did I just see Gordon add a can of tomatoes to his food?
Very delicious 😋
Yum
Happy cinco de mayo my beautiful family!!!
Thx for this information
Ah yes the classic mexican montgomery cheddar 🤣🤣😅❤
Amazing Recipe 👍♥️ like you 👍
Please tell Mr. Ramsay that the average person does not have access to these kind of ingredients.
What kind of pans does he use?
A round one
11:36 Take the base of the egg and just... use it to introduce all the chicken shit on the outside to your delicious food!
Eggs are washed when harvested you know that right?
Tq chef.
I love Mexican food.
I'm quite surprised he didn't make the tortillas - it's literally 4 ingredients and takes a few min. The taco shell looks pretty sad lol. Steak and cabbage looks amazing.
The fact that he shows us how make the food but 90% of people are not going to be doing it
That’s probably the most perfect medium rare steak I have ever seen…
Timestamps for the receipts would be nice
Love you Gordon. Truly one of my favorite chefs. But watching you cook "Mexican" food - if that is what you are going to call it - is always painful. Even if it tastes good it is not mexican... not even tex mex. Have you talked to Aaron lately? He might be able to give you a hand.
man this is so british
If only they knew 5 de Mayo is not an important date for us at all
XD
British people hate French people. So they love any holiday thats about France losing.
for you maybe not but for many mexicans yes
