I am from Costa Rica, and I will not cry just because Gordon cannot cook a "Gallo Pinto" the same way my mom does. That is incredibly stupid. I’m impressed! The torta actually looked good! He had real Mexican chorizo and the o.g. Oaxaca cheese…he made choriqueso😊. Plus, the salsa looked like it was probably made by a nice señora. So nice job Gordon putting it all together! Also, Gino is hilarious 😂
Well, but he put onion in that dish, so the flavor was going to get lower. Sometimes the chorizo is dryer than others, so you need a little bit of oil. Also, the flavors change with/without oil, so you need to try out.

Whenever I cook with chorizo I don't like using additional salt, pepper or other spices. Chorizo is very flavourful by itself and just letting it render and adding the onions later is enough to make a great dish.

I’m impressed! The torta actually looked good! He had real Mexican chorizo and the o.g. Oaxaca cheese…he made choriqueso😊. Plus, the salsa looked like it was probably made by a nice señora. So nice job Gordon putting it all together! Also, Gino is hilarious 😂

I think chorizo in the north of Mexico is different from the one in the center.
Well, but he put onion in that dish, so the flavor was going to get lower. Sometimes the chorizo is dryer than others, so you need a little bit of oil. Also, the flavors change with/without oil, so you need to try out.

Whenever I cook with chorizo I don't like using additional salt, pepper or other spices. Chorizo is very flavourful by itself and just letting it render and adding the onions later is enough to make a great dish.
