I am looking to see exactly how that belt keeper you take loose is actually mounted. It is at 51 sec that I see it, but it is too dark to see up into the space. Thanks for any help you can give. Tammy

Still having trouble? Positive you bought the right belt, but it seems like it's impossible to get it on?? then Jack up the rear if your belt seems too impossibly short to reach the final pully wheel.. bump it a bit on both sides and wait for the deck to slide forward towards the front tires.. Then Presto! ^_^ You will be able to get the belt on your older/ well used decks!

Ok, need a more in depth video how to put the new belt on.
Not so fast. On most models the front pulley on the right side has a belt “keeper”. If you try to squeeze the belt between the keeper & the pulley your belt won’t easily go on & loosening the nut on top of the pulley is a BEAR of a job.
Didn't even show how you actually put the belt on cause it just doesn't magically slip on ...waste of time video
This is bullshit. Mine has guards everywhere and the pulleys have to be removed. Thanks for nothing.
Use a flat head and bend it out of the way.
Every other video I saw on this required a bunch of tools, removing the mower deck, and it looked like it would take a good hour. Thank you mysterious man in M81 Woodland 🫡
