@@tyranictester Considering that there's an entire sub-story in Konikoni City, Alola where 5 ditto took over the jobs of people, it's definitely possible for ditto to just look exactly like you. Would be kinda creepy to just see yourself staring off into the distance, you talk to yourself and it's just a ditto.
The sleeping animations are also just pure adorableness across the board. It's just a shame they're not also used in battle.
Alolan Raichu's is the best one for me. It sleeps on its tail! How cute is that???

This is a great point. The ghost type Pokemon could have vanished for a moment and then performed a jump scare to try and get the players attention if something distracted them.

Skeledirge sometimes will open his mouth to let the little fire chick peck at his teeth. this happens when idle in battle or in the overworld.
Floragato's little yo-yo trick has been one of my personal faves. The best part is that apparently (and morbidly) it's doing a move known by some as skin the cat. Take that with a grain of salt though since my source is a comment on a video about the idle animations I watched a while back and didn't feel like looking further into.

I like the new models tbh. I don’t get the complaints some people have. I also like the textures they gave Pokémon. You can tell what they’re made of. Like Darkrai now looks like he’s wearing cloth. I never thought about what his body was but cloth makes sense and is less weird to think of it as smooth… skin.

When games have a high level of detail, of course rendering it takes a lot of power. To avoid this crashing the game and/or draining your battery, things that are farther away are not rendered in as much detail. This makes it so you can have all that good details around you where you need it without having any problems, as well as to ad some 3d perspective to the flat 2d screen.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are not the only games to this. Many games do, and yet I only see people treat it as a fault when they are trashing gen 9

The idea of Darkrai popping out a pair of spindly legs makes me miss Monster Rancher.
Worm looks like a catterpillar or grub most of the time with little nubbins that barely let it wriggle along, but one of its idles is growing spider legs and skittering around your ranch at top speed. (I swear it's both cuter *and* more upsetting than you think.)
I should boot up my Switch and play 1 some more.
