Chris Bevins front/rear bumper, axel and most components are metal, but the drive shaft front/rear are both plastic, you have to replace it. Please also note that this is top heavy, You also need to upgrade tires and front wheel weights. Overall I happy with the RTR, but a lot of money when in to this truck.
Hey, nice video! Very informative. I'm about to pull the trigger on this one, but what sets me off is that they claim a 40mm ground clearance on their website, whereas all the other Gelande 2 kits or rtrs have 55-58mm... Is it a typo? If you could let me know what the actual clearance is, that would be awesome!!!! Thanks in advance :)
Nicolas Maestre thanks, yes the ground clearance is 41mm from the lowest part of the link near the axel, from the center will be around 46mm. The stock tire really under size and not really good for this truck, it make the cruiser tip over easily. Because of the weight of body (top heavy), that why I change the tires asap. Let me know if you have any question, I am glad to help.
So, rc4wd models aren't so good after all. They are only expensive... I was planning on purchasing one, but now i have my doubts. Thanks for the vid, sir! Keep them coming.
Jordi Sanchez thanks 😄, the best value from RC4Wd is the marlin crawler, from the box is a awesome ready to run, simple cheap upgrade will make it a great overall scale and performance crawler, I highly recommended it.
@@oliverstoys8411 I just bought a marlin been running it stock out of the box it's a engineering marvel it's not my trx4 sport modified but that's not what rcfwd is for
Its four shock absorbers, return just as fast? my rear right shock absorber is a lot slower in the return than all the rest Are they filled with oil? It gives the feeling that no
1430sl hi, from the box all shock do not have oil pre-installed, the stock shock are not so good, but I did used them for a year or so, the front shocks I used 3000cst oil and the rear 6000cst, my truck weighs around 11lbs, so the back shock need to be stiffer less articulation, or else it will be easily tip over, and the front spring need to be relaxed for more flexibility. I did replaced my front shock with incision 90mm, and still waiting for my order to arrive for my rear. The incision shocks are amazing, extended the flexibility, but with this top heavy truck, it might not be a good idea, I will be uploading future video with the new suspension and see what happen.
Jose García even though there are the same chassis, mount system for the body is different near the front wheel, and I am not sure the rear bumper mount or chassis mount seams to be longer for the d90.
Jose García yes, I definitely installed weights only in my two front tires, I have used “great plane” segment lead weights, and I also replace the tires, used crawler innovations foams.
Jose García ruclips.net/video/C95mQfHaD88/видео.html, the link for the lead weight install, my advice is to get at enough led weights, so you can cover the whole wheel ring with lead, and not like what I did in my video.
Jose García sorry for the late reply, I have no complain with the stock radio, and also the third channel can control the winch with optional winch controller, if I do upgrade, people are saying the flysky gt5 is good value and great specs.
Build a track for crawlers on your backyard. You have a lot of space.
4:13 damn that lamp is jacked up sounds like you broken it brah
Rc4wd gelande II is the best rtr you can buy to hit the trail in it's all metal no plastic

Cool run and nice car!
PB TV-PRO thanks, very much appreciated.
Don’t like the look of the FJ40 ☹️ LOL
My 2021 Cruiser came with dash decos and a spare set and Tomahawk 1.9 tires. Love this Cruiser!

didnt look like you put any thread lock in driveshaft
Yes. Too excited to drive it😁 but on a letter video and date, most of the nut and screw are secure with tread lock.
Cool vid! can the front bumper be removed from the chassis?
Anthony Orm thanks, yes you can remove the bumper :)

nice car!

Is it possible to alternate the body d90 and the body fj40 cruiser, in the same chassis, to be able to change from one to another, quickly? Thanks!

Oliver's Toys ok
Do you put weights on the wheels ? if yes, what weight? Thank you!
