      May I ask what you set your wide band setting to? Maybe I missed something or have it connected incorrectly, gauge and tuner studio are reading different afr. Thanks.

    Great video! I actually just bricked my Innovate and switched to an AEM, this was a very helpful video. It sucks to break parts that way, but at least it was an upgrade from a LSU4.2 to a LSU4.9.

    thanks again for all ur help in your videos. hopefully soon I'll get some of my own videos up of the turbo jeep you helped me get running in TS. Couple questions I wanted to run by you I couldn't find through your vids and wonder if you have any experience with this.. I'm running a MS3X on a '98 wrangler 4.0 with a 5spd.) Questions: 1) I"m running the AEM EUGO Wideband setup. I have all the voltages entered in TS according to the AEM manual.. I'm probably .4 AF off between AEM gauge and TS. Is there an offset somewhere I can change or do I just need to adjust the 10:0 and 19:0 voltages in TS? 2) Every time I start my jeep, it will turn the alternator charging on for a minute and then turn the alternator off. However when I turn the key off and start the vehicle the second time- the alternator works flawless turning on and off as needed. But if I forget I didn't start it a second time.. I start running lean and funky voltage issues.. Any idea why I have to start it a second time? 3) I just started running an electric fan and have the relay trigger which requires a +12v wired to the Nitrous Output 1 wire to turn it on.. however it won't turn the fan on so I've had to run a second jumper wire that when in the city I jump out and shove the wire under the battery terminal to turn fan on. Is there a better 12v+ output or am I screwing up a setting?

    Your videos are great information! I am still having trouble with a hunting idle. Fresh build, and I’m definitely new to the injection world. I disabled ego and iac got my idle somewhat established, it wouldn’t idle low enough though. Any advice would be helpful as I am completely new to tuning. Thanks

    Great information, however I can’t get my wide band to read correctly. The gauge and tuner studio are reading differently. I have the white AEM wire connected properly, ground as well. What else can I do to get the ECU to read the wide-band properly? Thanks

    I selected my sensor the innovate lc2 and now on my jimstim when I have the afr knob fully cranked it only goes to about 10.0. Shouldn't it be able to get up to 14 or 15?

    • @TurbineResearch
      @TurbineResearch  2 года назад

      You may need to check the analog voltage output on the jimstim to make sure it matches the expected input voltage for that wideband

    • @TurbineResearch
      @TurbineResearch  4 месяца назад +1

      The wideband and the ecu need to be grounded to the same place if you have an analog signal to the ecu

    Thanks for the video. Can you do this with the Tunerstudio MS lite? the free version? im not seeing the option under tools and its not greyed out at all... its just not even there? or do i need to upgrade my Tunerstudio to a paid version?
    Thanks in advance !

    Quick question for clarification. Car is already set up but some how the manual afr has stopped reading the same as the computer afr gauge so after I check if its locked or not, do I calibrate it with the car running or just key on etc? And unless I have a name brand listed I use the custom choice right? Thanks

      Not sure where it is on your car but most ground to the intake manifold

    I can't get my wideband to read on my megasquirt for the life of me. Have the same ground. Tried both AEM and custom calibrations seems like I'm not getting a signal to the ms2 pnp. using the auxiliary plug pin 21 for bmw m20b25 MS2 pnp. Is there another way to hook it up to factory harness what am I missing?

    • @TurbineResearch
      @TurbineResearch  3 года назад +1

      I am not familiar with the PNP boxes but what I have seen in the manual says you need to disconnect the stock sensor to run the input on pin 21 with a wideband. Have you disconnected the factory sensor ?
      "There are two ways of connecting the controller to the MSPNP2. You can either connect the analog output to the pin labeled Oxygen Sensor input of the option connector, or you can cut and splice the oxygen sensor signal wire to the analog output. If you use this pin for wideband input, you must disconnect the stock oxygen sensor. Do not ground the oxygen sensor wire if you disconnect it; leave it completely unconnected and taped off if necessary (make sure it can't short to ground or anything else)."

      i connected the white 5v+ wire to the pink O2 wire. then grounded/12+ the gauge

    Hey mate! If you're running flex do you enter the e85 values somewhere also? Or is that automatically referencing the main fuel values?

    • @TurbineResearch
      @TurbineResearch  3 года назад +1

      Flex fuel is managed by the flex fuel sensor that just needs to be enabled in the tune. I think I have a video on it you can take a look at. If not I will make one

    • @Kebab_OMG
      @Kebab_OMG 3 года назад

      @@TurbineResearch just watched it, cheers mate!
      Was more concerned that even if flex is controlled by the flex sensor, was unsure on if AFR readings would be off. Unsure on if it automatically calculates the change. Reason for my confusion I think is the different ranges e85 to pump fuel has (in Aus we have 98 no ethenol and e85 on separate pumps)

    Hello! I have a 92 miata with an mspnp2 and I installed an aem 30-0300, car had an innovate mtx-l before, so I switched it, I set it to custom linear wb and set it to 0.5 = 8.5 and 4.5 = 18 like the manual says, after turning on the car the afr gauge works fine and it’s reading 14s BUT in tuner studio it is stuck at 7.3 afr, any ideas?
