A good idea is to make a Rpm column 150 rpm less than your normal base idle speed. IN this columun , you will advance your base timing 1.5 -2 degrees to help the IAC not work so hard when you drop the car in gear if its automatic. Most ecu's have and idle spark feature, but this also will assist in the process to keep a car from stalling, also in the extra column you an add some extra fuel in as well if needed, like an ac compressor cutting in or electric fans turning on, etc.

Since basically any engine available today has distributor data available it should be no problem to get started. I am converting a Jaguar V12 engine to EFI and I just used the distributor data multiplied them by 2 to get Crankshaft degrees and added the static base timing, bingo. Since distributor ignition was not nearly as precise as todays ECUs they will be conservative enough to go to the dyno and finetune for optimum power.

A HY35 can produce way more than 16psi. I run my HX35 at 35psi

That is a smart way. I made thread in the aluminium pin, puy in a bolt from beneath and then take a hammer and long bolt and hammer the thing out from above.

i did this on the ecumaster with the help of the lambda sensor, to get it somwhere in the ball park and to know where it sits. on the lean or rich side. later, i went for the engine feel. also engine temp plays a huge role. I had issues with a cold engine cutting out, had it spray like 200% of fuel while cold. ooof! at least it washes the carbon out of the rings. lol

I think I read the 710 dries faster than the 720. That's why it's labeled for spot or panel painting.

Why not use the built AFR controller?

We use ethanol on Brazil a long time. Some gas tank has a treatment to deal with ethanol, but is rare. You need a plastic fuel tank. And always use pré-filters on pump, and inline filter.

Also I’ve heard it’s not that great on the foam in some thanks, transforms or dissolve the foam into jelly of sorts, and all that goes through lines and filters and it’s there to stay so upgrading the fuel system probably a must

Interesting thought. Never really considered that. Def need more regular filtration refresh with ethanol either way it seems.

Doesn't setting it to 100% in the lower areas hold it fully closed and increase spooling?
