ppnnyyy no problem. The ultimate, hardest challenge setting is something like 230,000,000% monster HP and 600,000% monster damage, so it seems like there’s a pretty high bar before you can really say you trivialized the game lol.
Bro I watched this video yesterday, and today my first Unique Sacred Armor dropped from AT. Guess what, it was Tyraels... Never in my life did I think this is gonna happen. My merc was still using Smoke because I just started playing offlline. So yeah, at least I will put this on Razan. about 50 runs before I also found a 40/15 jewel, this game is CRAZY.

The point is not to discuss who dropped what during his/her playtime. The point is the guy is out of touch with how the vast majority of players engage with this game. I must have over 10000 hours of gameplay, the only Zod I "found" was back in 1.09 in a cow run, some moron sold it to Akara and I bought it back, I was ecstatic.
The base game is kind of boring in my opinion, but the MedianXL mod is actually pretty fun. It adds all kinds of new skills, maps, etc. Had me hooked for a while a few months ago.

the drop rate and the areas where tyraels can drop are vastly increased in pod so doesn't really count sorry... found one myself previous season, never found a tyraels in 15 years of playing vanilla. Nevertheless - crazy RNG. Did you slam them hogs?

I started playing again after 13 years on hearing about resurrected. Still a magnificent game but damn watching these Guys on their walkthroughs makes me feel even more of a noob that’s I already did. It’s harder than I recall but then when I played I had some solid builds. Having only a lvl60 sorc is a bit of a setback
I started from scratchwith D2 again. For the first time I started playing with the Javazon. Haven't completed hell yet, but I allready found a Stone of Jordan, a Bull-Kathos ring and even a Jah rune. And of course a lot of other nice uniques like the unique Russet armor for some decent MF. Luckiest start i've ever had with D2!
God this is so satisfying I used to play back in the day before rune words and skill synergies a day when you were cowing all day to grind. Life was good

I am glad that I am not the only one missing Cham rune there, I've also dropped 3 Zod runes in total but I've never had a single Cham. If there's not a one after 10k Pit runs, then it just proves how rare that item is.
RNG is crazy man. I still can't get over how I got Tyraels on my first ever Sacred Armor find... especially when watching most people go through several Templars before they even find one. And yet I can't find a HoZ to save my life...
I know the feeling. I have found more Tyrael's, Fathoms, Mang Song's, JMods etc... than I can count, but never found a single Griffons Eye after hundreds of thousands of MF runs. RNG is weird as heck. I may have found a Griffons at some point in my life, but have no consciously verifiable memory of doing so. It likely never happened. Same goes for 5 Nado Pelts. Those are the only two items I can think of I never found. Tyrael's; though, I probably found somewhere between 6 and 7 of them. Not all in the same season of course, or the same year for that matter. Spread out over the 19 years I've been playing this game.

But then the opposite also plays out, and you'll struggle to find an item that others seem to find frequently. In my current plugy playthrough, I've been desperate to find a dweb after countless pit and pindle runs on my zerker, but on the flip side I found 2 sojs 10 runs apart from each other and I've been fortunate to have the exact runes I needed for Enigma and Infinity drop for me pretty quickly. I've been playing this game off and on for about 20 years too, including pre-LoD, and I come back to it all the time. Almost feels like a gambling addiction.
Yeah 5 Cranium bashers in a row is insane. If Mr. Llama saw that he would go insane himself. Also when I was doing pit runs with my PSN Necromancer on players 8 I found a Death's Fathom as well. Mine is nearly perfect. Mine rolled 27/40/40. Dbrunski I am sorry to have to tell you this but on Asteron's 240% ED is the lowest that you can roll on that weapon. The Max perfect ED is 290%. Also finding that many Nats claws and IK armors is insane as well. Especially the IK armors without finding either a Templar's Might and if you are very lucky a Tyreal's Might and even an eth Templar's might which is even rarer than Tyreal's might. Also it would have been funny if this person would have found like 5 or 6 Mang Song's Lessons.

Plugy, it's single player but brings ladder features into single player plus a few qol improvements like skill and stat resets, effectively infinite stash, shared stash between characters
I found a Lo and a Zod on single player, aswell as a 15% ED 6socket Eth colossus blade(one of my best finds, because it was from lower kurast and was already 6 socket when i found it. I made a barbarian on SP with a rare teleprot charge amulet, a BOTD, lay on hands, (made grief eventually) and max item find. the idea is that you go on players5 and get a map where the council is stacked in a corner, then u whirlwind them to death without +cold dmg, and max item find. I literally found Cham Jah + Gul in 3 hours once, it's a very effective rune finding technique, you literally get 60% more council member drops with item find and kill all of them on players 5 in under 1 minute. (53-55 seconds) So much more fun than anything else imo, because theres so many drops and gold :D
At 5 mins per run this would take roughly 833 hrs, which equals to roughly 35 days. Playing 8hrs per day, this would take 104 days to complete (if done non stop for 8hrs per day)
Sometimes I wonder how he does 10000 runs of anything. I could do it back when I was 15 and had the time, but now as an adult that's giving up so much time, I could never. Then again, DB gets paid to play d2 and I don't, so...
If you did 100 runs a day, it would take you 100 days. That's a lot of The Pit runs! (: To be honest... when you love the game enough to play it all the time regardless, you're going to play just as much as 10,000 runs, if not.. far more running the things you love. Variety is the spice of life. No reason to single yourself out to one area only, unless you really love that area enough to not be bothered going anywhere else.
It happens. Sometimes SoJ's and BK's drop like candy from piñata's, and other times... Nagel/Manald galore. It takes a while to get yourself out of that crap hole, but eventually the good stuff comes, and many HR's, and other goodies beside them.

I probably have 20,000 hours played on D2 throughout my life. I have never seen a Zod. I have found a Cham, but never Zod, and you're more likley to find 5 Zods before Tyrael's Might. (considering how many hours I played WoW and how much more I played D2 than I did WoW.)

@bronchoped1 for me i dropped 3 griffon's this PoD ladder took me like 10-20 maps in total but 1 cnc and 2 brick. PoD has good drop rate since its always players 8 but it doesnt increase hp/atk of mobs only if more players join

they should boost the stats of the Classic Legendary to make them competitive with the runewords. Its very sad that the epic rare loot from Classic is now trash but still ridiculously rare to find.

I just got cham and jah from pits but ive never got a ber rune b4. just every other HR. ive done about 1000 runs so im doing good id say :)

Except you can easily do Pit runs under 1 minute maybe even in 30 secs if you have fast computer and good skills. ;D

Iv gotten 2 SOJs, 2 metalgrids, a 29 Maras so far running just hell Meph for about 1500 times now, with 400-500mf
If you only spent 3 mind a run, thats still like 500 hours of pit runs... holy smokes
it takes longer than 3 mins with all that item management

I probably have 20,000 hours played on D2 throughout my life. I have never seen a Zod. I have found a Cham, but never Zod, and you're more likley to find 5 Zods before Tyrael's Might.
(considering how many hours I played WoW and how much more I played D2 than I did WoW.)

It's so funny that in my 20 years of playing D2 and last 3-4 years PoD i never found Griffon's...but every other item i have lol
@bronchoped1 for me i dropped 3 griffon's this PoD ladder took me like 10-20 maps in total but 1 cnc and 2 brick. PoD has good drop rate since its always players 8 but it doesnt increase hp/atk of mobs only if more players join

they should boost the stats of the Classic Legendary to make them competitive with the runewords. Its very sad that the epic rare loot from Classic is now trash but still ridiculously rare to find.

I was just doing sum runs and watching this video and i realized i forgot to set my bot to do pits like i normally do. after i changed a few mins later i got a ber from pits!!! I just got cham and jah from pits but ive never got a ber rune b4. just every other HR. ive done about 1000 runs so im doing good id say :)

Do you send the file back with the identifications? It's what I would want if I were to do a project and send it to you for an identification session.
Stats are determined before the identify anyways. So, it doesn't matter. Though I'm sure if he sent him back the file he probably saved him a few minutes of identifying lol.

@@AmyLovesYou Yes, but as you said, they are "crafted" and not unique ;-) I got a rare one with 10fcr, 19str, 7 dex, 79 mana and 27fr this ladder. With 40 life instead of mana it would have been extremly awesome :-) Bot yeah, you're lucky if you find one awesome rare in you're hole life :P

"Provided with char save file"...how did this come about? I'm playing plugy on my desktop at home, and i have a laptop with plugy too. I have at least 2 hours of downtime at work everyday and was going to start bringing my laptop to play plugy. I don't want to have to farm thousands of runs on both plugys. How can i send the save files from my laptop to my pc and vice versa?
