For Diablo 3 Speedruns you can play on any difficulty. Therefor we play on normal which gives less XP but I am still leveling up during the run I finish the run at level 22. The game scales in difficulty as you level so as long as I continue to find items I will stay on par with damage and toughness. If I stopped equipping new items I would become very squishy and deal very little damage very quickly. The game has normal, hard, expert master and torment 1 through torment 13 difficulty so outside of speedrunning players can choose the difficulty they want and get more XP and drops the higher the difficulty they pick but for speedrunning our goal is to get to and kill Malthael as fast as possible so we play on normal.
Well, I'm on par with speedrun.com rules, when I saw Diablo 2 speedruns, they had to lvlup a bit, but seems like Diablo 3 monsters spawn at the same lvl as you, but I still, think that even for normal difficulty the bosses die too quick.
@@Garfm Long time since I've played diablo, so im unsure about this. But arent some dungeons random, meaning that you have to be lucky with where the right path is in order to break a record?

From their website they say, "The overall goal is to craft a schedule with the most broad appeal for viewers and ability to draw support for the charity." So I imagine many runs are picked mostly based mass appeal and entertainment value so they likely consider how popular the game is, how popular the runner is, if the runner is entertaining, if the speedrun is entertaining, how big the speedrunning community for that specific game is, how competitive is the speedrun for the game and stuff like that. Probably our best bet for getting Diablo 3 into Games Done Quick is to have it included in a Diablo block where all 3 games are run back to back because Diablo 3 alone is not very popular but the franchise itself is very popular.

I responded because I like to see if people will actually respond when I call them out and how they respond. Trust me I ignore a lot shitty comments all the time. Also you are now claiming you were "talking about the game being easy to finish" but you said "speedrunning the game is easy" and those are two different things.
I don't keep a list of each and every game I have ever played, but if I were to guess I've probably played 200-300 different games on PC and console. Here are some of the ones I've played more extensively. Don't worry the list I am about to put below is a copy paste from one of my twitch panels I didn't personally write it out just for you.

Тупорылая фича, когда лвл мобов равен твоему.
This game reminds me of faces in a roman catholics... Getting terror night adventures in Revelation 18: 2-4 members...they steal mens souls and make them there slaves.Perhaps it could be said by all religions(666)... Satan/Lucifer is always the final boss there in Babylon... Isaiah 14:12-15
Raising the difficulty just to get xp on a quest seems like cheating
Well it isn't considered cheating according to Blizzard and it isn't cheating according to our Speedrunning rules ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Please do speedrun on mobile.
I dont like D3 ... The graphics are not really D designs.
lol didn't TP @ the very start of act 3... noob
cool a speed run game where you have literally no risk of dying.. clearly a game for a challenge.
If it isn't a challenge then go for WR big shot ;)
If you want a speedrun where there is a risk of dying here is a HC Path of Exile race ruclips.net/video/CzM9aH3ua38/видео.html
If diablo 3 wasn't already boring enough

I dont get it what is the point of speedrunning a game like D3, once the season ends, you cant break this record anymore because it will be a different season... Sure it must be fun to run it, but as a speedrun its kinda meh
This world record could be beaten at any time it has nothing to do with seasons. Leaderboards and rules can be found here www.speedrun.com/d3_ros#Any_NG
