Speedrunning and giving quality and informative commentary at the same time, Llama was a born performer, awesome.

I dreamed about this diablo before. that is totally nightmare. because all my entire family got eat by him. And I want to run, but my leg stuck, I just cant move my leg... And when this demon caught me. He detached my head, suddenly I awake. Got damn it.. That is the worst nightmare I got in entire my life.

I'm so happy I got to enjoy Diablo 2 it was the greatest gaming experience of my entire life.....from the pve to the incredible pvp no game has ever compared for me. I hope they bring back greatness in diablo 4

I'm so glad the rng is playing nice this time, Llama deserved better than last year's run lol. He handled it well of course, but I like seeing him in his element like this instead of struggling against the rune droprates.

Saw how he didnt click on the waypoint. When he pulled up the menu screen I was shouting at the screen, "don't exit!"

Fkn hell , i remember 15 years ago i was going at internet caffe buying a full night ( i think it was 6-7 hours) and i was dooing lvl 25 :))
yeah those were the days... i remember watching my older cousins play d2 when i was like 8 years old, when i finally got to play it on my dads computer the first act took me like a week of playing everyday to finish and i thought i had finished the game, i was so proud of myself
God this brings back the memories. Weird seeing a necromancer thats not trying to lag the instance with a million skeletons
Careful after watching the whole run you'll end up with a crave for watching it the other class versions

Subscribed to llamas RUclips channel after his Diablo run last time. Highly recommend, lot of fun, and a genuinely all around nice guy.
His content is superb. Check out his man vs streams for some good times. They are about 20 hrs each but worth the watch
No lies. I played about 10 years of this game. From 1996 to about 2006-7 was my last runs. This makes me want to shelve my PoE grind for a few seasons and revisit what started it all for me.

yep! the amazon's valkyrie summon gets random gear too, and i think blood raven (might just be her bow)

Haha I knew the Valkyrie summon had random gear cos my dad, years ago when he used to play this game, used to use various different bots and maphacks and one of them let you look at the gear that other players had equipped, and it let me look at the Valkyrie's items.

@@chesterra But the original, bigger hype was from the popular John Wick-movies. And merging well-known actor with highly anticipated game in total secrecy... Also, don't forget the movie Johnny Mnemonic, must see movie for any cyberpunk-fan. Included many of the tropes from the original rpg.
Besides, i think Keanu has been aging well. Although he will always be that "whoah"-kid, he now has some adult seriousness.

Blood golem is best with iron maiden as the ironmaiden damage counts as the blood golems and heals him for more damage then the enemy deals, so he becomes unkillable (at least in the original version, donno if that changed in a later patch).
Diablo 2 is a game like you want to play over and over again after few years. I first played using a Paladin then a Barbarian then an Amazon. Now watching this, I want to try a Necromancer.
Its amazing game still kinda holds up
but makes me appreciate PoE all the more

here is shocker Necromancer is my favorite character back in the old days i made one to lv 84 :D blood Golem iron maiden is specially good fun to use.
I loved the Necro too, summoning Necro especially. But I could never get the Iron golems to work right. Remember how you were supposed to be able to customize the golem a bit by casting the summon skill on weapons or armors with with particular stats? Well it seemed like every great piece of gear I used to make an Iron Golem got obliterated by even weak mobs, but whatever unexceptional junk I happen to make a Golem out of could stand toe to toe with Act bosses. Maybe that was just me though.
Same. Had a summoner necro using skeletons and revive with a beast runeword berserker axe and the pole arm on my merc that gave another aura I forget the name of on top of his defensive aura from being an act 2 merc. Destroyed all content in the game while I just sat back and watched.

Llama really doesn't excel at making all these details easy to digest, since he plays the game all day just chatting with people who know D2 already

I seriously played d2 after years of poe, man the references GGG took from d2 are massive. Like the skill level scaling system, weapon dmg affix mods , resistance capping at 75 etc :D
You can tell he didn't have much hope for the cow level incentive when he trashed the cube.

I really enjoyed watching this run. I must admit, I don't have a lot of experience with GDQ or know how they are organized, but its seems a shame that this run would be so early in the morning (I believe he said .~5:00 am) as there was understandably not a lot of reactions from the crowd. I guess this would have been much nicer to watch had the time be somewhat more sociable. Anyhow, well done
