This guy is really good runner. Interesting commentary throughout made this an utter pleasure to watch - just like his previous D2 run back at AGDQ 2016!
The explination he can do while running has always been impressive. So many runners are to busy making sure they press a button at the right time but thats funny .... Diablo 2 you get so much rng and u have so much free time to just talk.
I definitely know that first hand - sometimes RNG can cost you 500 baal runs at level 98 when running ladder - or rage quitting on hardcore... definitely not fun, but still, this game deserves more respect than Blizzard gave it last weekend.

MrllamaSC is a great follow on RUclips and even better live on Twitch. It's amazing how interactive and fun he is with his audience while not missing a beat doing his runs.
He also does wonderful commentary and taught me a hundred new things about Diablo 2 even though I played the game for a decade lol..
Also man vs stream is really fun to watch if you like seeing people hate life for 20 straight hours.

If they make a Diablo 2 remastered or a Diablo 4 I would be so happy. Diablo 3 wasn't that good to me.
@@jchang6915 If you didn't like D3, I don't think a D4 would change how you'd feel about it. I can guarantee a D4 would keep a similarly "basic" skill tree, gem system, etc. Activision wanted the game to be accessible, and so it was made accordingly. It also wasn't as (visually) dark as prior games, and I can't see them going back to the grim dark world that D1/2 was in. Though who knows, maybe Activision Blizzard will surprise me. They did it with WC3R, so there's still hope for them.
@@ebbandfloatzel D3 on launch was actually pretty good. Getting past hell act 3 was actually really fkin hard. Playing HC made sense back then.
Nowdays if your HC character dies, it doesn't really matter since it's all about paragon points anyway. You loose your gear but that doesn't matter either. you just equip all the gear you got in your stash box.
Now, it's just about min-maxing your character so you can bulk up the rift difficulty. Oh the fun, it's too much.

to think it took me ages to finish this game in co-op an then a runner comes, does it in probably just 1/100 of my time and also says there are lesser times... it is amazing! I sincerely enjoyed listening to his comments.
those moos by the announcer was pretty spot on. Very impressive.
him talking about the beetles in act 2 made me nostalgic. he says they give good exp but hurt and yeah i noticed once when i was the perfect lvl on my barb with a new weapon using double strike or how its called. so good exp killing beetles and you really felt the hits because of the charge bolts.

@@Larweigan I believe it. I know Southwest has like a 50lb limit before they sock you with fees, and mail by itself can weigh in at like 20+lbs. So basically half your luggage to one article of clothing.
One question at 1:38:00 - Did they take out the Cube Dropping in Travincal? I just remember if I ever lost mine, it was always faster to get it there if I had the waypoint.
You need a cube in act 2 to make the staff

Set the speed on the RUclips player to 1.25 or 1.5 and it makes your watching into a speed run of the speed run! :D. Actually 1.25 speed makes diablo's 25 fps feel a bit more smoother, and you can still understand the audio, I like it!

I think the under utilization of the couch commentary for runs has been recently overlooked. I want to see you make the 1:09 and I just think it would be more of a possibility if the runner were 100 % focused on run, not commentary. Much love Llama, GDQ and all those who donate!

What does the ''any%'' means when you do a speedrun?
Anders Persson the percentage refers to the amount of the game that needs to be completed for the speedrun category. Any % basically means just reaching the end of the game.

I noticed a window that kept popping up. Is that a helper program or a macro? I love D2 and this was so fascinating.
Diablo 2 can be played in full screen or windowed mode. He played it in windowed mode as I think the full screen mode cant be streamed, so when he accidentally clicked or right-clicked outside of the window into the desktop space, some menu and stuff came out for a brief second.
@@ShinRaSabai its played in 800x640 res... so full screen looks ridiculously bad for streaming, so he window mode playing. its one of the things you dont realised that makes the run hard.... its an itty bitty window
