Hi I can't thank you guys enough. Your music and each and every song you guys make hits me somewhere I didn't even know existed. If anyone asks me what's my favourite band its the war on drugs. I am from india and before i turn 30 its my dream to attend a concert of yours. Please dont stop coming out with albums. I cannot get enough of you guys can never get tired. Rock on! So much love here.
The hurt gets worse and the heart gets harder , I'm 50 and I have two younger daughters 12 and 13 I have never known a more beautifully poetically way of telling my daughters of the hardships to come but the tribulations to get over. I've said it once and I'm not ashamed to say it again you're a Dylan of these times. Yes Dylan has been an inspiration for me through the years. You're truly a group of great musician's. I hope for my daughters too think of you the same .
Yeah - I heard them playing this two years ago in Cologne. There are some good live Versions on RUclips e.g. from KEXP ruclips.net/video/qOfIN7XBl-4/видео.html. Definitely my favourite song for a long time. Greetings form Cologne!
It might be the Bourbon talking (typing) but it think they played this at "Drug-Cember to Remember" '19 at the Fillmore Philly. Great night. Great Band. Can't wait 'til the 20th.

they took 4 years or so to make a deeper understanding because the singer is a little neurotic (my own opinion) i heard he wants everything to be perfect, so you can wait for a while longer for new songs to actually drop haha.
Com relação a sintetizadores eu adoro o The Waterboys, New Order, Men at Work. E na vibe anos 80' um dos melhores albuns pra mim é o Steve McQueen do Profab Sprout.
Adam and the boys did a whole segment on their love of Warren Zevon and this song in particular in their pod caste. It's a companion piece to Live Drugs album. It's informative and funny. Check it out. Listen all the way to the end of each segment for some gems.
I think The War on Drugs did a great job covering Accidentally Like A Martyr.
This is why they are one of the greatest bands. Warren would be proud!
Fantastic cover of a great song
Didn't know this Warren Zevon song before. Absolutely brilliant!!
Such an underrated artist/band!!!
Such a great song. I saw Dylan the week WZ died and he put this song into his set list.
Great rendition of a classic gem of a song by the one and only Warren Zevon.
Getting my Live Drugs record in just over 10 days baby....and I couldn’t be more excited 🙌
LOVE your music from Spain..you are so......no words
These guys get it!!! So cool.

End the war on drugs, and listen to The War On Drugs.
...on drugs'
Oh my god, this beautiful gem soaks my spirit, thanks much🔹
Damn this track is great
Sounds a lot like 80's Bob Dylan. I love it.
Close! 1978 Warren Zevon... and the song does reference a 1997 Dylan album (Time Out of Mind).
@@w0mblemania Bob played it live several times in 2002 just prior to WZ's demise
Dylan did an album called Time Out of Mind - taken directly from this song. Dylan loved Zevon.
@@megangaw5854 I already said that.

Agreed. That is the first thing I thought... Points off. Sorry dudes.

it adds the sense that the live album was all one venue. this isn't a bad thing i think

Warren Zevon is the best
Weird that there's no credit given to Warren Zevon-the songwriter-in the description or the video.
I had to google to find it.
Adam mentioned it in another video so it may have just been over looked in this one.
@@RockWithFloyd Still odd that whoever posted the video didn't add it to the description.
