Nick. Video suggestion. Play storage wars with cars and upgrades. You make 40 garages and give each player a 150,000 dollar budget. Each garage can be either fully opened and someone can see which car/upgrades they get, or previewed with a hint on what they can get, or closed with no hints at all. I would suggest having a couple of dud completely hidden garages and a couple of REALLLLY good garages. No class limit but you can only use one of the cars and the upgrades you get. The car should be able to race, drift, and have good accelerate (drag strip) and top speed. Using google sheets for all this was helpful for my "prototype".

Cathedral is one of the most technical circuits and it's one of my favorites, your lines suck Nick, fix them and you will be faster, you either cut too soon in those tunnels or too late, find the flow, rhythm
