Thank you so very much for sharing this amazing video and rest assured that I will share this video with others, especially with messianic Jews. My personal journey has taken me from Christianity and being a former pastor to becoming a B'nei Noach. Baruch HaShem
I once heard Jonathan Sacks, the late Chief Rabbi of the UK and the Commonwealth, speak about the Disputation. He said the Jews won, but it might have been better if they'd lost because of the persecution which followed the win. A sobering thought.
I have read about the disputation before, but it was very interesting to watch this dramatisation. These dyalogues reached the very core of the different perspectives of both traditions. Sadly, to quote the Rabi, once the mouse is invited to a disputation among lions he fears either losing or winning.
I’m a descendant of the Jews from Spain who were converted. B’nai Anusim / conversos / marranos. They stole the history and identity of our Hispanic people in the Americas. May the Most High restore us and bring us back to His Torah.
My grandmother's surname was Villarreal born in Los Angeles. Most Chicanos are mostly Native American and Native Mexican with western European, Mediterranean, Levant mixed in. Probably why we could pass for Arabs, lol. BTW: marranos? That means pig in Spanish, or is that why we call pigs marranos?? 😔 😟 🙁 😥
@@lindabishop1402 that’s exactly why we can pass as Arabs, you got it lol. Arabs and Jews are cousins. If you Google “marranos,” Jews are the first thing that pop up. So I think that’s why they would call pigs marranos. Our culture is filled with things from Sephardic Jew culture. Like empanadas, arroz con leche, buñuelos, flan, etc. These are all foods that we always thought were Hispanic but are also found in Sephardic culture. These recipes are found in medieval cookbooks from Spain, written in Arabic. Our history is definitely interesting.
@reyalecio3501 thanks for sharing your knowledge, that is soooo cool. I love it. ❤️ . My son looks totally Mediterranean Middle Eastern, maybe Turkish, he doesn't look Mexican at all, more like a combo of Prince the musician and Jesus.
Its hard to comprehend in this 21st century that most of the world was ruled by Christian Kings and Queens. If only in title only because their lives certainly didn't produce any noticeable fruit.
I'd love to know more about this. Did the BBC make it?* It looks like it had a fairly reasonable budget! Christopher Lee is great as always, but the other British actors are great choices too, with even Toyah Wilcox in there! A very interesting piece of history, thanks for sharing. It seems Christopher Lee has had a habit of being involved in these projects that end up not getting promoted or received properly. __ * Turns out no, it's channel 4!
Christians like to read out Isaiah 53 but conveniently ignore 56. Did this happen yet? "Isaiah 56. "6 Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the Lord, to serve him, and to love the name of the Lord, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant; 7 Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people." Do the Gospels say anything about Gentiles sacrificing animals on an alter in Jerusalem?
Are you one of the people that some passages read symbolically and others read literally just to make a sophomoric point that was supposed to argue something?
One can't help but wonder what would have happened if the Jewish Christians has maintained rule of the church over the gentiles. Perhaps the Way would still exist,.
What about all the descendants of the brothers of Jesus that moved to Assyria, and the clearly Jewish Paul, Peter, The Beloved Discipline, Andrew, etc., who so closely clinged to the legacy of these Jewish apostles that they wrote pseudigraphy about them. The "Jewish rule" you desire is just your fantasy that mainstream Jewish Christians were anti-trinitarian (despite the Jewish Gospel of Matthew quoting the resurrected Christ as stating that baptism should be done in The Name of The Tetragrammaton shared by both the Son & Holy Spirit), and insisted gentiles follow the Law (despite a Jewish Paul's clear statements against it, and the fact that multiple non-christian Rabbis insisted that it will be okay to eat pork after the Day Of Resurrection).
@@michaelfuller34 The west might still be following the Gospel of the Kingdom, the only gospel Jesus taught, rather than abandoning it to whore itself to the empires of man having officially aligned itself with a culture adversarial to the Kingdom 1700 years ago in true gentile fashion. We might have a religion that focuses on the will of God rather than one using the name of God to justify building more empires built on the adversarial principle of 'self' such as interest, justification, etc, the original sin. Spain at the time, as entity, did not exist. If it was not in Latin, then it was in Catalan language. King was Jaume (in Catalan). Kingdom of Castilia was another and different entity. Mister Tabot, would not you be interested in checking the figure of Ramon Llull? The true man, not the image that has been conveyed of necromantic because of the apocryphes written after his death?

I’ve been looking for this film for a long time. Crazy to see Dr Tabor post it on his channel. Thank you sir.
Fantastic. Absolutely fantastic. Especially knowing where the history of this is going...

I'm a Christian but I'm just glad we can see these debates today without the risk of violence and deportation or execution. Thank God for truth
