Not only did he (constitine) change the church to appease his army and people, he also incorporated the sun, moon, stars into our “calendar”, he incorporated Middle East, Asian religious beliefs, like the incense burned, bell ringing and made the statues that some churches. His most grievous sins were that he changed the Bible sabbath into sunday keeping to make all his people happy. He changed the 10 commandments also to expel the real sabbath and worship the idols of his new found church. U can ask any priest or bishop and they tell u it is so. The church of rome thought to change Gods Holy Day and to make the peoples bow to the images/ idols of this new found church. They also made a catholic bible…….as a history buff and raised in the catholic church, when I found these and other stuff that the church had messed with, I left the church of rome and became a “ Sabbath “ keeper!………May God Bless U as u learn and grow……🙏🏾👵🏼🧐✌🏾😮👌🏽

That was the converting force specially to how early Christianity established itself amongst the poor and downtrodden but also that Christianity actively sought out converts and inspired faith which fueled said missions from the city of the Roman empire to the mountains of Armenia.
Christianity profoundly became a historic force since it completely disregarded economic and political incentives to convert kingdoms and tribes during it's early centuries and after the fall of the Western Empire.

The role Jews played to twist the truth of one God and Jesus taking promise from his disciples that they will propagate subordination to one God, clarification of Mary as a true worshipping woman and unfair death to Jesus, was cleverly shown. Constantine just tried to depict that he would punish the Jews and Roman, by making Apollo. He could not imagine believing in one God that know one can see. Making Christianity a bundle of tales is Jews master mind.

What emerges out of this pseudo conversion of Constantine is a faith that ultimately is far removed from the faith taught by the Lord Jesus and His inspired apostles in the New Covenant writings. New Covenant Christianity knows nothing of a Christian society endorsed and protected by a secular ruler or government. Nor does anyone who comes to true faith in Jesus by a vision or a dream. Romans 10:10-17. Constantine may have seen a vision or had a dream, but that is the work of Satan not God.
    2 Thessalonians 2:8-14. Revelation 13:16; 16:13.
Jesus said that His Kingdom is not of this world. He did not send his apostles and His disciples into the world to build a Christian civilization or particular nation states! Emphatically not.

When the Emperor Constantine declared himself to be the Summus Pontifex, what followed was more than ten centuries of Dark Ages, during which time people who professed Christ rather than Mary or the Popes, people who denied transubstantiation, were fed to lions or burned at the stake.
During the Dark Ages, for a common person to read the Bible was a sin for which there was no forgiveness; and so the people were spoon-fed from the papist pulpit.
The Bible was said to exist only in the Latin text and the common and largely illiterate people could learn the stories that were in the Bible from paintings and stained glass windows.
Those who first made the Bible available in the language of the people were killed
for their trouble; but when Martin Luther quoted Paul, of all people, the Protestant Reformation began.
The gospel that saves is that Christ accomplished everything needed to save you from sin and death when he died on the cross for sins. The cross took your sin problem out of the way already, and through his resurrection you can have free righteousness on Christ’s behalf through faith (2 Cor 5:21, Rom 4:24-25; Rom 5:1). Do you believe this? Do you trust this gospel?
By trusting his death and resurrection for your salvation and adding no other works or church traditions you are sealed with the Holy Ghost (Eph 1:13, Rom 4:5). This latter “no works” disclaimer is necessary for all those who would make God’s grace powerless to save by adding any necessary work to Christ’s finished work (e.g. baptism, confessions, prayers, experiences, etc.)

Congratulations if you believe this wholeheartedly, you’ve officially made Christ a liar by saying that the gates of hell overcame his Church. It’s genuinely incredible to me that people who profess faith in Christ have so little faith in God’s power that he couldn’t deliver Rome into the hands of the Christian Faith.
The whole story of how Rome became Christian even has parallels to the Exodus of the Israelites, but with a Christian twist. The chosen people (in this case it’s the apostles and early church) flee from the oppression of the current authorities (in the OT it was Egypt, in the NT it’s Israel) into foreign, pagan lands where they overcome the native religions and peoples before establishing a kingdom dedicated to God. The big difference is that while Israel had authority to wipe out the Canaanites, the early Christians had to follow the example of Christ’s sacrifice and wait patiently for God’s deliverance. Which eventually came after 300 some odd years of collective suffering, when the leader of the land gave his empire over to God. You can’t look at that story and not see the guiding hand of the Lord behind it.
This propaganda is a genuine blight on Christendom and in its ravenous hatred of Catholicism, does nothing but bring the entire validity of the Christian Faith into question by imply God is so impotent and pathetic that a mere human conquer could successfully silence his Church for over a millennium. While also simultaneously exalting those who deliver it by claiming that they just so happen to be special enough to know “the real truth of history”.

    This is very interesting!
You have to watch an exorcism of a woman who is part Italian. In the interrogation the chief spirit says his name is Julius Caesar, and on more interrogation confesses that behind Julius C is this spirit whose name is the spirit of death. Then it says that the baptism of this woman was done to him, to the spirit of death. In other words, the baptism of this woman was not to God or Jesus but dedicated to this evil spirit called death. The religious man had to cancel the baptism to the spirit of death in order for the woman to be free of the torment. The other piece of info is that the demon said that he still rule Rome, and it made the feast showing as Julius C would do.
If this baptism was done to this spirit, the rest of baptisms also. It just happened that it was constrained to talk. Also the spirit was establishing the grounds for his legal right to stay inside the woman.
I conclude with the theme of your video, that the paganism was just covered up with symbols of ….
Or better said all the symbols of the paganism were transferred into the Christian religion because Jesus had no symbols at all. No images, no saints, nothing.
He was baptized when he was 30 y. o.
    So, no baby baptisms…

Hindu Gods and Iranian Gods and even Norse paganism Gods are all the same with a different name. The major difference is that Hindus believe the group starting with "D" are good and the one with "A" are bad. Devas are good, Asuras are bad. Persians and Norse believe it the other way around. For Persians (Parsi) Ahuras are good, Daevas are bad. In Norse, Aesirs are good and Vanir (V is a variation of D as the dialect diverged) are bad.
The theory is that all these religions eminated from Central Asian Steppes and depending on which direction waves of migration went the religion then in isolation evolved. The mother of these religions belonging to the Scythians, a nomadic Indo-European Aryan peoples.
Interesting to note that English which is the grandchild of the old Germanic (Norse) dialects also uses the same alphabets in which "A"ngels are good "D"emons are bad.

You are going to an earlier phase. Mitra was a later Hindu God and came from India.
The theory that proto Aryan culture came out of India is a racist assumption which isn't backed by any evidence. The direction of such cultural diffusion could be from India outwards and that is as consistent with available evidence.
Earliest Hindu Gods are most similar with Iranian Gods and that's to be expected as both Indic and Iranian worlds shares borders and on occasions overlapped at the margins.
Iranian religion was a less sophisticated version of an aspect of Hindu religious system.
As such the most likely scenario is it was a Hindu backwater or Hindu hinterland..

This documentary is getting a lot of facts wrong and confused:
    1. They often confuse Mithras and Sol Invictus. They are two different gods and have different cults.
    2. The Mithras cult has all but ceased by the time of Constantine. It peaks in the early 3rd century and phases out by 300 AD.
    3. The arch of Constantine was in all likelihood NOT comissioned by Constantine, but by the senate of Rome. The Senate was pagan at this time. It is no wonder there isn't any Christian symbology on the arch.
    4. The arch features mainly reused elements from other triumphal archs. The large statues with Phrygian hats are from a Trajanic monument, and are Dacian prisoners. Not Mithras priests.
    5. Flavius was a very wide spread standard first name in Roman society then. It was not a family name. Constantines first name was Flavius and this did by all means not signify any connection to the Flavian dynasty. The hypothesis is thus nonsense.
    6. Eusebius was not Constantines ally. Eusebius was an Arian Christian. Those guys Constantine had branded heretics at the council of Nicaea. Eusebius was even condemned to exile by Constantine. He later got admitted back and happened to be present at Constantines death, which is why ironically, he had to baptise Constantine. There simply was no other choice. Eusebius liked Constantine apparently. The other way around however, we don't know...
    7. Constantine had coins minted with him as personified Sol Invictus, well into his clearly Christian era, where he also had coins with Christograms minted in parallel. It's a slow conversion as was usual back then.
    8. The Sol cult is younger than Christianity. Christmas in December was known to some Christian communities before the birthday of Sol was celebrated on the 25th December.
    9. We simply don't know enough hard facts about Constantine to be able to make a comment about the sincerity or direction of his beliefs. Distorted and misinformed claims such as here don't bring us closer to the truth, they contribute to veiling it further.
By grossly simplifying and misinforming, they ended up distorting history more than brining any interesting new thoughts to the table.

I think the moral of this episode is that every religion is man made.
It's puzzling how so many people will dedicate their entire life in belief of fantastical stories and deny tangible evidentiary proof that they can see with their own two eyes in evolution. 😶‍🌫️🤯

Jesus is not Christian. He is the Christ. Christians follow Jesus - in the Book of Isaiah - before Christ is born, it is prophesied - ”For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.“ - Isaiah‬ ‭9‬:‭6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

The biggest con....Christianity. How can one of the youngest religion alongside Islam be the one true religion, when the oldest known religion's are Hinduism, Judaism, and the good old Paganism. Putting the horse before the cart.

Christianity spread is pretty clear even in secular eyes.
      1) It actively sought to convert and as a historic force it had the attributes which disregarded economic and geographical incentives which enabled it to holdout in even isolated pockets, Remember Christianity even before Rome Converted were already the state religion of Armenia and Ethiopia while various Germanic Tribes had already converted.
      2) Christianity offered more during the 3rd century crisis. It provided safety nets and Christianity emphasis on charity and repentance means that specifically target those in the lower caste of society
      3) It's attractive to Women, Remember in the Ancient World wives were more of a property of the patriach. Christianity enforcement of monogamy and the agreement that the husband would provide and stay faithful gave it a significant edge, specially in Constantine case since his mother was a Christian.
      4) Christianity is intellectual,
Not to the pretentious kind but the christianity actively studied itself and the world, that might be antithetical to the current image of Christianity but Christianity even today is the largest patron of arts and science. Again what I mean by intellectual is that Christianity and also Islam is that both developed to explain and investigate the nature of their faith which on the long term enabled doctrines to be codified and expand, Something which Hinduism struggled with during India's early independence and even today.

I second that testimony, seriously, sir Isaac newton turned down top job of deen of science of the Anglican church, because he wouldn’t convert to it. He said what we as Latter Days Saints have said all along, ‘’ the truth since Constitine has apostatized ‘’ hence a restoration. Constantine extorted Christian to get his fame although it wasn’t as bad as kaligula, Nero and others. Catholics are to be hailed for holding what little truth they knew till the Book of Mormon. Best wishes

Christ is not a person it is a state of consciousness and title adorned to those who achieve it. War in the name of Christ is not war in the name of Jesus.
