I played the video again today and noticed the drummer appeared to be very young yet, he plays like a pro. I thought to myself, who is this kid, and so I looked at the credits. I wasn't surprised when I saw that he's a Vandemark so that explains a lot. Musicianship is in his DNA. What-A-Deal!

This cover is fantastic! Sam Jones' vocals and guitar are so authentic, and the horns are brilliant. Even the bg vocals are spot on compared to the original. Another masterpiece.
It's always impressive when you stray from the songs we all know by heart and dip your feet in some that were a little less well-know. I'll admit that I didn't recognize the name of the song or the artist, but within a couple of beats, I knew exactly which song it was. Of course you guys nailed it as always. Smoooooth.

As always this is an excellent cover of a great song, close your eyes and you would swear it was the original! Kudos to Sam for the wonderful vocals. Charlie just keeps amazing me, such control with a light touch (which this piece needs!), Vandy must be busting with pride! This is what LLB does better than anyone else, a true masterclass in musicianship.

Those triplets in Bobby's original recording are a tough one to duplicate. The horns here are just as warm as the original..very nice! I am surprised to NOT see an original 73-key Rhoades piano...but the feeling is there...again, nicely done! The backing vocals are absolutely on the money! Love the bass fill at the end!!...just like the record!!! Excellent song choice, not an easy cover. Great job, gang!
