  • Despite critics not especially liking Bad Boys Ride or Die. The Will Smith and Martin Lawrence film is massively outperforming even the studio's expectations.
Bad Boys knows what it is which is becoming a rare thing in Hollywood.

It's doing well because you can't go wrong with a buddy cop film and when two actors have chemistry, anything they do is funny.

I’m just like you Katie. I didn’t think that this movie 🍿 was going to have a chance. But I was pleasantly surprised that it brought me back to the good ole days of watching a fun popcorn 🍿 movie. Bad Boys Ride or Die is just a fun movie 🎥 with no message other than “Enjoy the Ride” (See what I did there. Ride or Die, Enjoy the Ride 😂. I’m here all week people 😊. But I digress 😬). Everyone, do yourself a favor and go and see “Bad Boys Ride or Die”. A couple of good hypermasculine cops going around and solving problems (Andy gets the credit for that phrase 😊) Bye 👋🏾

Hey Brogu, I noticed that you followed the DA in his live stream last night which I did not know he was holding. Anyway, I saw that you told the DA that you live in Houston Texas and if so, ooh boy. I hope you got plans to move out of that city before the next pandemic hits because I did bring up Disease X in the chat yesterday and I'm very concerned for everyone's safety, including our friends, Peter, Katie and Andy.

Have absolutely no intention of seeing this. Have only ever seen the first movie. It was good for the period of cinema we were in.

Yeah, this is definitely a throwback movie. Feels like it was plucked out of the early 2000s.

I bet it was. I'm glad to be part of the group and I am looking forward to tomorrow's live stream because I got some much to share with everyone regarding the acolyte episode 3.

@@holdmydualshock You guys already know my stance on the constant reach-backs, rehashes, reboots and the like.
Also, I just can’t support any project Will’s a part of anymore. I’m never NOT going to feel that slap. 😅

Anyway, if I ever do get the chance to see this movie someday, I will definitely have a blast watching it.

Yeah, critics really hate things that are a true success story these days in Hollywood. They always prefer provocation over reason.

Easy to see why they hate on Sony. Sony doesn't spend HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS on marketing a movie unlike Disney. Disney spends big and offers a lot of access/exclusivity and anyone that supports them with their gaslighting. Disney likely kisses these media peoples behinds as well to keep them onboard.

That is such a good point. I hadn't thought of that. Sony definitely is not pumping the money into marketing that Disney is. Critics and access media should probably be viewed in the same way ad agencies and lobbyists are viewed.
