All the white reviews call it trash. But then as they didn't watch the last few movies. And don't get the plot. But they don't realize thus movie has always been for blacks.
I was just thinking the same thing for bad boys 5 but my twist is that Reggie and Armando become bad guy drug dealers because Reggie gets desperate for money!
It had a lot of good Easter eggs too. Michael Bay had another cameo in it and they brought back John Salley. He wasn’t in the 3rd one tho but they brought him back for this one.
I saw it today and totally loved it!!!!!!!! The action, the laughs, and no spoilers of course....that '3 slaps moment' even made me tear up since to me, that was Will Smith himself listening to Martin, and many of us! Will rewatch it at the cinema since this is one for the big screen!
Movie was awesome two thumbs up. Straight fire. Must see. I had everything. I really enjoyed it. Do not compare to me all the movies thus far have been good.
I like this plot the most because of what it actually was and what it built up to and why it had to happen and all the sub plots where there to wrap up the plots from 3 this is a part 2 to 3 and it needed a main plot to get to where we got to at the very end
The first one is not the best one. If you say that then that's nostalgia speaking. The 1st one is good but honestly it's a good setup to start the franchise. Ijs🤷♂️
Chris my guy, been a minute hope all is good. Yeah that particular character wasn’t a bad performance but just was so random 🤣 we need to catch up soon man and talk about one of the million things dropping this summer.
My opinion i enjoyed this one slightly better than the 3rd movie and yes i enjoyed that one but i still gotta give it numbers 1 and 2 both being the best one's but thats just me , cause everybody is entitled to there own opinions too typically...that note aside i agree Bad Boys 4 is now the 1st and best 2024 summer movie as of now
I can’t believe no one noticed how the ending credit scene in the 3rd film where Mike goes to his son to ask him if he’s willing to help them to pay his debt didn’t pay off or even touch upon in the forth movie. 🤔 sounds like they just scratched that all together for the fourth film
I like both, Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, but have never been a fan of this franchise 🤷♂️. I’m glad you enjoyed it, and appreciate your insight, but probably will wait until VOD🤪 Happy June 🎉
My ranking is 4 3 2 1 they keep getting better and better but the really built the perfect trilogy here because this is a part 2 to 3 more then a part 4 so perfect trilogy leave it alone make something brand new in the same universe
Armando Aretas (Jacob Scorpio) and Reggie (Dennis Greene) are both going to have to join the team to replace Mike (Will Smith) and Marcus (Martin Lawrence) because they are both getting older and they both need to replace the legendary characters in future films that will have to be revealed to be successors of the legendary characters in the future sequels
Not gonna lie, I had a wicked time with this movie. While it's not as insane, action-wise, as "Bad Boys II" (due to a smaller budget), I think it's definitely up there with how inventive the action scenes are with drone shots, sequence transitions, first person, and gun-tossing. The story is hella stupid (as with the other movies), but for whatever reason, I actually found myself more engaged/invested in the Mike/Marcus dynamic this time around. I think this movie did a better job acknowledging the guys getting older and dealing with new issues that come with age and experience, than they did with the previous movie (which I liked, btw). At least there's more of a throughline here, whereas in the previous movie, it kinda just dovetails without any solid resolution other than the fact that they have to go fight the bad guy. At least by the time THIS movie's climax hits, both Mike & Marcus' internal arcs come to a head and are dealt with. Are they dealt with in a satisfying manner? That's up to personal preference lol, but I personally thought they came to a head just fine in terms of what these movies are. I do feel some of Martin's comedy didn't 100% land, but I actually appreciate that he was in on the action A LOT more with this entry, rather than just playing second fiddle and letting Will have all the fun. It felt like a true co-lead operation with Martin & Will sharing the load of carrying the movie, whereas with Part 1 it feels like it's Martin's movie with Will tagging along, and with Part 3 it's Will's movie with Martin tagging along. While I do wish the supporting cast got fleshed out more, I actually did appreciate that they all had a moment to shine. Maybe it's asking too much for people to remember the "lore" of "Bad Boys", but I did like the numerous callbacks to story and motif elements of the previous 3 movies. Is it a "good" movie? No. Fuck, if i'm being real, NONE of these movies are. But all of them are super fun and entertaining at the most basic level, and that's what I've always wanted out of these. Maybe I'm not demanding enough, but this was honestly a great time at the theatres for me. The chemistry between Martin & Will is as great and endearing as ever. Some people might complain that it's a bit too stylized, but honestly, that's another thing that made me like it so much. Shout out to the directors Adil & Billal. They really stepped up the action, and got real inventive with it. If they're in the running for the next Spidey movie in the MCU, I definitely would like to see how they handle action sequences with that character, because they really got to push some boundaries and have fun with "Bad Boys: Ride or Die." Oh yes, and Reggie is indeed the Real MVP. Amazing how far that character has come lol. If I were to rank the movies, favorite to "least favorite" (I love all these movies), I go: 1.) Bad Boys Ride or Die. 2.) Bad Boys II. 3.) Bad Boys For Life. 4.) Bad Boys.
Hell yes this was the best bad boys movie of the series end it here this is a part 2 to 3 my list is 4 3 2 1 in that order they keep getting better each time right now we are at a perfect trilogy 3 was just so big it needed to movies
It's time to definitely wrap this series up we enjoyed it for what it definitely was it brought so much enjoyment to the community as a whole and thoroughly enjoyed all of them so let this definitely be the last and go out on a high note don't keep beating a dead horse till it gets stale
I'm a HUGE movie lover/fanatic and aspiring actress. I've already watched thirteen new releases in the movie theater this year including Bad Boys 4 Ride or Die. It's now in my top five favorite movies of 2024 thus far. I absolutely loved it!!!! It's fun, exhilarating, action-packed with great pacing and a solid story/plot. Will and Martin are a legendary duo. This was another good movie review. 🎬🎥🎟️🎞️🍿🥰🥰🥰🥰
I had 0 expectations for this movie. I hated part 3 which was not that long ago. That being said, I was blown away with this movie. Loved it and would definitely watch again. Some of the story coudl be a little better but I really liked it over all.
I have to admit they've gotten progressively worse instead of better and I definitely won't be rushing to a theater to see it but I'll give it a stream.
What irks me the most is something that no one and absolutely no one talks about! And that’s how Marcus Burnett has three children! Two older boys named James and Quincy Burnett! And they have been completely erased from Marcus Burnett life in movies 3 and 4!
I liked Bad Boys I. Popcorn movie with friends. I didn't remember the plot or the jokes. When Bad Boy II came out, I went to see it. I loved Gabrielle Union more than I liked the woman in the 1st movie. The only thing I remembered about the plot was Mike was trying to date Marcus' sister with the reputation he had. I didn't give III a chance. When I saw a review of IV, I went back and rewatched I & II. I loved the third movie which I saw for the first time this week. I plan to see the IV because I want Smith and Lawrence to HAVE a career after the Oscars thing. His behavior and his family have been highlighted so much that I would like some of the spotlight to return to why we know Smith and Lawrence in the first place. Two years for an actor might as well be a lifetime. I want both to have the longevity of Denzel Washington.
The villian wasn't amazing here and they def should've expanded on just how severe being on the run was .... they was chilling whole time and moving like it was a normal day... today's world has cameras everywhere even the fight at that club the enemies disabled the cameras
Bad boys super fan. I bought my tickets two weeks ago. In advance. I been asking people. Who had early screenings. If the action is like two or similar. I have gotten people saying it is. I thought the 3rd one was terrible so i got huge doubts on this one they need Michael bay those first two are certified classics action and comedy top notch never got tired of those first two at all
Meh… If they had actually called this bad boys 4 life… they would have been made fun of relentlessly, like every other movie that tries something gimmicky with the number and the title…
I like how you said it's not too deep and complex and then complain about it not being deep and complex with the stakes of them being fugitives. Its not that kind of movie fam.
How is wanting to explore more of them on the run complex? If anything, it’s adds more action sequences for them coming across different people trying to get the bounty.
@MovieFiles bruh this isn't The Fugitive or Enemy of the State... this is an ACTION COMEDY and you want it to be a thriller. Wrong movie, wrong premise fam. You're turning it into something it was never meant to be. The plot was simply to move the characters in the story along, not be the story there is a difference. The plot is thin because it's not what's Important.
@gdavis2bn I didn’t want it to be nothing other than what was present in the film. I didn’t make that angle up, it’s literally the 2nd half of the movie and all I said was I wish that particular plot was extended, didn’t say I wanted it to be a whole movie of them on the run.
