Sans got the redesigns 'cause he looked too similar to the original US!Sans (the one that is usually called Blueberry). However, since the different hoodie and the absence of tired eyes and the cigarette made it easy to tell apart both versions of Papyrus, his design won't be changed. Not that we want it, he looks pretty cool
It's a different take on it, that's all. A pretty good take too. Sans still acts like himself, tells puns and sometimes wears his Undertale outfit, but now he's got a superhero thing going on.

Yo Luxent. I've returned again. Remember me, that guy who ranted about TS!Underswap and Crossbones with ya? Well if ya do, you'll also remember I thought u remixed the song. But now I get where my confusion was. Basically I had heard Srtarlight Saviour (the TS! equivalent of 'Nyeh heh heh!'). Then I came to this channel thinking you had remixed Starlight Saviour. I did not know that Team Switched already had made an equivalent to Bonetrousle (aka Skeletal Showdown) seeing as to how they didn't yet show the Sans fight (other than the April Fools).
@@HopelessSoul-z8h I don't think it fits the game because of the instrumentation that doesn't necessarily fit the stylisation of undertale adjacent projects, but it's still really good if not better than the old one especially as a piece of music especially because of the instrumentation
Sans is like the lazy hero of Snowdin and papyrus judges you in judgement hall really depressed and doesn’t wana hurt you kinda like disbelief (he keeps the personality of papyrus in undertale) he can’t use blasters but he can spam bones and he has 2 phases

As an Undertale AU, it certainly is 2nd best in terms of development and storyline (the 1st being Inverted Fate), in my book. However, the standards for AU's are very low, with most being mainly made up of: 1. Cringe, cursedness, humor, or porn (like Underpants, Underfail, Underlust, Under(her)tail etc) 2. Shipping AU's (they contain popular ships like FontCest, Frans, SanCest, Soriel, Flans etc. These AU's include Axetale, Altertale, Fellswap, Flowerfell), 3. Basic concepts with little development (These include all AU's with only their Ruins segment done, or who have just a Sans battle like Horrortale, most Underfell takes, Dusttrust, Inktale, Errortale) 4. Undertale reskins [Storyshift Preboot, all swap AU's (except TS!Underswap and Inverted Fate)] TS!Underswap in that regard outshines most AU's as it has a real story, with relatively original characters. It has direction, great design, and a very good OST (uptil now). As for gameplay, it has done a good job incorporating mechanics from Deltarune. However, I like to evaluate TS!Underswap as its own game and story and toss it in the same ground with Undertale, Deltarune, Earthbound, Homestuck, LoZ etc. THE FLAWS 1. Gameplay other than the fights, and Sewer city things might seem repetitive. There is little difference from Undertale. I can only partially forgive this for the reason of Undertale AU, but I personally dislike repetitive gameplay. The fights are in the exact same format as that of Undertale 2. The AU doesnt follow its own rules at times. For example, Flowey is supposed to take Temmie's role yet appears just before Starlight Isles, rather than in Crystal Springs. He also is friendly and direct, rather than snarky and mean, which completely contradicts his Undertale personality. Hence Team Switched claims this AU reverses roles whilst keeping the same personality. Yet, Flowey's role is unclear and his personality matches neither that of Swap!Flowey, nor UT!Flowey, nor UT!Temmie. Burgerpanties appears first in the Ruied Home whereas the Nicecream Guy in Undertale appears first in Snowdin. 3. Crossbones. I can't get over the many flaws with Crossbones. First off, he is kinda cringey imo from the little i have seen. He sounds like someone tried to make UT!Sans (not Swap!Sans) but coded in both Sans' and Lancer's dialog. Him pointing a literal ketchup gun at Chara whilst saying 'you're the bad guy' sounds like something a naive kid like Lancer, or Berdly would do. The most threatening thing he has done is put up a sign saying 'beware of Crossbones' which sounds worse an attempt at defending monsterkind than poor armless Monster Kid's attempt at stopping Genocide. Lastly, a vigilante sounds like something a 'Judge' like UT!Sans would be, which he technically is (the Sans battle), rather than someone occupying the 'Ambitious' role. However, being a superhero just flies in the face of everything, as it is something that Papyrus would want to do rather than Sans. Being a superhero is also a lot of work, much moreso than silently judging. Sans, being both mature and lazy would know he would get the job done much more easily and with much less work by sitting, doing nothing, watching, and judging rather than going upto 'bad guys', pointing a ketchup gun at them, and throwing them in a 'punishment shack'.

It feels messy and I don't think there's enough noticeable differences to see what the game is trying to do. However I have to defend sans, it might not be noticeable first but sans seems to be just joking around and I doubt he actually wants to capture you if you went pacifist. See, yesterday I played genocide and sans is threatening at the end, his eyes are black and he says you're going to have a bad time because the situation is very serious, his monologue is even threatening and can be associated with the one he has in undertale when he fights you at the end of a genocide, although a bit far fetched I've known sans for 5 years and I'm the kind of person to joke around most of the time too, it's kinda like satire atleast that's my interpretation. In the normal route sans doesn't seem very threatening because he's not trying to seriously threaten you, we unfortunately don't know his motivation yet so I can't say much but that doesn't mean you need to judge him and take what he says literally, lancer is naive, we know that sans isn't naive due to his reaction in the genocide but also the way he reacts in undertale. It actually means Team Switched. It's the team that develops the game. They put the TS in the AU's name so it won't be mistaken for the original Underswap.
