Damn... Dude. The blues is strong in this one.
Fuckiu
Can't understand, how the crowd stands there. I absolutely had to groove with the tune.
Never ,I repeat , never play with anything blue in the red light district
👍👍👍👍👍❤
Mr. Blonde saaaae bro🤣🤣
It's crazy how much talent is out there and how many talentless "celebrities" we have...
most celebrities are chosen bc they can make more money off of them because of their appearance.
This is capitalism, baby.
Amen
Celebrities are more talented than your ass
Bruh don't generalise
Coming back here because... well.. y'all know why. You're coming back too
2nd best use of a flask I’ve seen. The best is obviously to carry your whisky
Woody81 maybe it’s full of whiskey 🥃 so he does both? 😂. 🥃+🍼+🎸
Oh I didn’t know it was a flask.
And they're not mutually exclusive
And I thought it was a harmonica. I was like wtf, and now I’m like wtf.
Well, this flask is broken, so it's no good for carrying whisky. Must be the best use for a broken flask.
4:48 "One good thing about music is that when it hits you, you feel no pain" -Bob Marley
That is so true.
Why did you post the time?
I definitely do disagree
why no pain if Music hits you?
IT HIT YOU
it SHOULD hurt D:
Another line Drake stole? Not surprised!
This is like, I don't know, maybe one of the best guitar performances I've ever heard. Wow.
If I walk in a street and hear such a thing, it is impossible to walk away.
Look for Justin Johnson here on youtube. He does this kind of music at incredible levels.
C1etus to discover such a briliant act irl. . .its not impossible to go get the schnorkle n get rid of the mermade-paradox in that briliant of waters
I’d stop to listen and be late to work lol
i know what you mean ! i feel the same way bro ! God bless !!!
Saw him open for Little Feat last night. He ripped that venue wide open right out of the gates. One man band filled the whole room with sound! One of the best opening acts I've ever seen.
LITTLE FEAT HELL YEA
I'll say something here:
It takes a great deal of skill to get those slide-notes spot on.
And those notes sound *_spot-on_* to me.
That is some *_PRECISION_* slidin'
Way to go Dude!
.
who cares..
@@user-xi2zt8jx3g You don't.
Obviously.
Perhaps you're deaf?
Or drunk and stupid.
Either way, this level of exquisite skill blows me away.
If it fails to move you? Move on.
I hear Sigrid is all the rage right now.
@@Bodragon yeah dude , that's such a clean sliding technique . He's really accurate
Theyre not slide notes theyre flask notes
@@user-xi2zt8jx3g lmao ur dumb
My 2 year old daughter just asked, 'Why is everybody not dancing, Dad?'
I had no answer.
508 demons at the crossroads that watched the devil get outplayed.
Or maybe people just don’t like a video uploaded unironically calling himself "amazing"
@@BoarhideGaming so you didn't think he was amazing?
LBFcolin He’s very good. Calling yourself “amazing” is such a prick move though
@@BoarhideGaming agreed
@@BoarhideGaming he's confident in his ability, so he should be, I guarantee this took a hell of a lot of practice. To disagree that this is amazing is ridiculous.
This performance randomly pops into my mind every couple years, each time I watch it, goosepimples.
People complaining about the guy calling himself amazing. In music, you can't convince people in something if you don't believe it, it's just confidence and a catchy title. In all fairness, he's totally right to call it amazing!
It is amazing the impact of Blues music, especially in Europe. I remember playing blues in the Netherlands, we always had large audiences. I remember being surprised when we would ask for requests, at how many were for songs by the original artists, I remember thinking hell I’ve never heard of this by this artist. Amazing the knowledge they have of our music. I remember once a older gentleman asked us to play a Tab Benoit song and I was like I never heard of this guy. After hearing him I was hooked. Great people over there.
Saw Jack play 2 days ago and this man blew me away. Humble and very kind person, hope to witness your magic many times more
This man is saving the blues
if hollywood ever decides to make a sequel to Road House , this is the type of music that should be playing in all the bar scenes
This live version is so much better then the studio version
Jack slays!
I leave this under every video I watched, it helps the algorithm....
now on tour with littlefeat - SO well deserved - GO JACK!!!!!
5yrs later and still dumbfounded by the beauty of your work on this song 👏👏👏👏🔥🔥🔥
Lord have mercy on my wicked soul this is great, big sound for one man Respect 👍
Canned Heat-On the Road again. Love it!
Look up Tommy Johnson - Big Road Blues for the origins of that song.
Hell yeah!
I remember seeing those guys live in 1977 playing this. They opened for Fleetwood Mac.
Canned heat is so underrated
2022........Hey bro! Revisiting you, and its good to be back! Man, some crazy shit happened since I was gone. There was this crazy virus thing, that turned the whole world upside down. I hope you are still rocking, and things are going well for you. I guess things may never get back to the way things were, way back when. Sure wish I owned a time machine,....and could go back to 2016. Since 2016, I lost some of my mates,...not from the "virus",...just the usual crap, old age and common diseases. And my favorite cat died in 2019, at least he was 17 years old, and lived a loved life. My motorcycle also died, and well, they stopped making the parts for it, years ago. I bought it brand new in 1985,...and enjoyed it for 33 years, and racked up 14,000 miles on her, here in the USA, where I live. My most recent birthday was in December of 2021, and I can't believe I just turned 68. After 40 years of drinking and drugging, its a g-d damned miracle. Ha! Take care, & peace to ya, brother.
This is 10th time I watch this video. Man you are great
also randomly using his pinky finger on his flask hand to frett a note while finishin his slide. DOPE
Just noticed that. Jesus.
GrayQA John butler does it too - got me ducked how they do it ;)
Yeah I wasn’t sure if he was playing the note or just muting the string.
I don’t think that pinky is fretting a note. The note at that moment, every time the pinky is near the fretboard, is an open low E.
Bluesmen like this are gold nowadays guys!!
Blues so hot it's the Reds now
Then it turns to purple
This is crazily good
It deserves so much more dancing! It makes me so happy and yet so sad. Melting in tears rn. Thank you
The blues is strong with this guy, BRAVO.
Bro just saw you at Black Deer. Thanks for the amazing show. Made me and Mrs smile all day. PS your dad's cool.
This video shows that one man is able to make more music than hundreds of untalented singers on the radio and their producers with their copied music.
Dude, you should be on the radio. Everywhere! Just amazing.
man you can play the shit out of that guitar i stumbled across your videos when was lookin at random videos of buskin so glad i did never listened to blues music to came across you true talent mate which you dont see much of these day in the music industry

He's making that old Hofner howl.
I can see myself just leaving a smoke cafe and hearing this. I would be jamming right with him. Badass!
This man is something different and in another level ..just superb ..loved it .
Soulful slides happenin' here. Hope you're still thriving and surviving man. God bless.
Got chills when hearing you just amazing 😭😭😭😭😭😭

Oh my,what can I say???Dude that was an absolute pleasure to listen to!!!Thats amazing talent right there
This guy is AMAZING! Most accurate pitch I've ever heard playing slide...
Impressive how good this is, it flows just like water.
I want that tone. That exact tone. I had to watch a second time just to listen to the acoustics. Awesome. Oh - and you're a great performer too. I wish you all the best.
Now that’s bloody talent oml

Fantastic guitar playing!!!
AMAZING ☝🏻😃👍🏻
YES!!!! A thousand times YES. We will be your “special friends” don’t worry. You are music!
Wow, slide sounds amazing. Reminds me of Rory G's standard it was that precise.
Gallagher was great
Try Alan the Blind Owl Wilson. After all it’s his song.
Lol my dad names me after him he’s that good
Canned heat On the road.
😍😍😍 Wow..ahmazing.
Yeeeeeeeees nailed that sucker & in a beautiful setting , with people who also want to buy your CDs . life is made up of the tiny moments . If those moments are good , you have to try damn hard to remember them , for when the times get hard . The tiny moments keep you going , until the sun warms your face and the stars shine so bright that you dare to dream of better times .
always love this, always !
HEY!!! master blues man!!!
Hey Jack, still lovin this as much as when I saw you in Amsterdam there. We also had some e-mail contact later which you probably won't rememer with since it was so long ago and your hardcore lifestyle :D Anyways good to see you're climbing that ladder of succes playing at Montreux and all. Godspeed master.
daniel is it possible to find his email adress? I would send him an email too
So beautiful........
I used to busk around there in 1989-1992.
Unplugged though. Acoustic and voice with no amplifier.
This guy is proper blues. JLH Onions groove.
Esse é o verdadeiro Artista 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🎉💪
OMG 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 It's really perfect!!!
If you like this, come to Memphis, TN and the Mississippi Delta where this music originated.
This is awesome! Absolutely love the blues sound.
Cara... que som!
Parabéns...
Maravilhoso Blues !!!!
Hallo. Ik ben blij, dat sommige goede muziek kan gewoon buiten luisteren... 🙏✊🥰🤗
good lord that is pure joy.
Toca muitoooooo
Lots of people watching, but not a lot of money. Also how come street performers are more skilled and talented than stage performers now days?
Pisses me off when I see countless people with their phones out taking a good vid and not offering anything out of their pockets.
Europeans are cheap
He’s not a busker... he’s a professional musician. He holds big concerts. I guess this is him giving back music, not about money
Ah man I just found this. Love it!
Cara muito bommm
Masterful Dude . . .
"One night I was layin' down
I heard mama and papa talkin'
I heard papa tell mama let that boy boogie-woogie
It's in him and it got to come out
And I felt so good
Went on boogin' just the same"
Monster skills, monster sound! Love it!
this gives goosebumps it is so cool
the best
Man: "I sold my soul once.."
Other Man: "And what what of it?"
Man: "This".. (begins to play)
I could do better, but it's good. Gotta give props.
Post a video
Ethan Hofecker - Yeah! I’d like to see that too!
@@LAkadian I'm a musician and it cracks me up going to see live music and looking in the crowd. You can tell who the music consumers are because they are vibing. And who the guitarists are because they are standing there with a look on their face like, "Meh I could do better."
Mr Mouth you suck! And you wish!
So performance gooooood with steel flask whiskey bottle... I'm throwing money at the screen! Daaaamn!!
Fantastic work there Jack! I had to share this one to all my friends! Keep rockin on brother!
Sounds great to me.
shout out to BB
