I think there is a good argument for the third raikage being the best lightning style users. Not only did he have the lightning cloak but he had the hell stab which is like chidori, plus he had and taught black lightning. He also used these techniques to fight the 8 tails and then later on caught 1000 enemy shinobi.

I like to think that Kakashi accidentally created Boruto's vanishing rasengan, but just didn't realize it because it vanished. Sasuke was just the first one to realize that Boruto's rasengan didn't actually disappear permanently, just vanished due to the lightning nature, something that Kakashi might not have seen as he didn't have the sharingan until after he created raikiri.
cool theory, maybe Kakashi inadvertently created the vanishing rasengan, but didn't realize it because it vanished. Sasuke was the first to notice the lightning nature's effect on it, something Kakashi might not have seen without his sharingan.
It was my understanding that when Kakashi added the Lightning-Style Chakra, it always collapsed the "rotation" aspect of the Rasengan, leaving him with a palm full of turbulent and contained Lightning-Style Chakra, which is what the Chidori is. I could be wrong, but I feel like if Kakashi had created a vanishing Rasengan, even without the Sharingan he's a skilled enough shinobi to realize there's something going on in his hand even if he can't see it, y'know?

Most likely medical ninjutsu falls under yang release, Yamamoto did sort of mention this when naruto was now learning wind release. It makes sense too as yang release deals with life/physical energy. If that is the case, Hashirama would be the greatest yang release user just off his regeneration alone. Other contenders are Kabuto/Tsunade
yes it is yang but i dont think hashirama is actively using yang release it seems that it just happens naturally and its indicated to not use chakra so it most likely isnt yang i believe sakura would be considered the best yang release user as in boruto it is implied and stated she is a better medical ninja than tsunade
For yin release can we keep in mind that itachi is the only canon character to instantly kill someone with a genjutsu. People have been killed in genjutsu by other factors, but itachi made izumi die of old age with tsukuyomi alone.
Naruto's chakra control is absolutely insane. Inventing the rasenshuriken was crazy enough, but then he did Planetary Rasengan on a whim, which is RASENGANS ORBITTING AROUND ANOTHER GIANT RASENGAN. Absolutely bonkers.
@@justinholland6132 Gotta be a special kind of sad to just randomly go to some other series' video and respond with 'Goku still solos'. Very cool comment, @dannymartial7997! Also Gojo solos Goku.
Yes, but actually no. The thing I dislike about Naruto as a character is the fact that he rarely improves even though he trained with characters like Jiraiya and Kakashi, what I mean is even after spending all that time away training with Jiraiya to bring Sasuke back, he still needed to make a clone just so he could use the Rasengan rather than doing it the way it was intended to now that's not a problem for naruto considering how massive his chakra reserves are but to the ordinary shinobi that method is impractical, it's too much chakra. Whenever he gets a power-up like sage mode, kcm, kcm2, or six paths senjutsu he instantly makes up for what he lacks in skill almost as if it's magic or something but when he goes back to normal he is still unable to do a Rasengan without a clone even though he was doing it before with the help of whatever boost he previously got. The many variations of the Rasen shuriken as well as the massive and planetary Rasengan wouldn't be possible if he didn't have a power-up every time.
Technically as yin feats go, the strongest probably isn't a genjutsu, but Sasuke's ability to move between dimensions. While it is limited in uses it basically allows him to escape any situation flawlessly, as well as take a fight somewhere he has an advantage (he moved everyone from Kaguya's dimension so he can bring other people over). By The Last he is able to pinpoint which dimension he wants to go and is taking Otsutskis. While he can't do a world ending feat like Infinite Tsukoyomi, his move is far more practical and doesnt require any specific conditions besides having enough chakara and his rinnesharingan active
sasuke's ability to move between dimensions is indeed a powerful yin feat, providing him with versatility and the ability to escape or gain an advantage in fights. It's a practical ability that doesn't require specific conditions, making it quite formidable.
I completely agree with Onoki for earth release, but I think its pretty cool that Kakashi was able to make a Quartz Earth wall immune to lightning release

Also take into account that each Shinobi has at least one affinity toward one of the Elements, making any jutsu they use of that particular element that much stronger. And Madara, being an Uchiha, most likely had a Fire-Affinity, so his Fire Jutsu was insanely strong. And the fact that it took multiple Mist Shinobi, the people who specializes in Water Jutsu, several of which probably had an Affinity to Water, to just nullify Madara's attack, is saying something.
black flames is still stronger... its a cop out to use madara, when any fire style coated with it or it in general would delete madara fire jutsu...even obito got around madara majestic fire style with his vortex dragon, which can be used via sharigan which literally snuffs oxygen in the middle making it a better wide range fire style to madaras... even if he gives it artificial wind via jutsu, it would be snuffed out due to the nature of obito vortex dragon.
true, the affinity towards a specific element can make jutsu of that element stronger for each shinobi. Madara's Uchiha lineage likely gave him a strong fire affinity, making his fire jutsu incredibly powerful. The fact that it took multiple skilled Mist shinobi specializing in water jutsu to nullify his attack does speak to its strength.
@@Suto_Ko strength don't matter if it gets nullified... via black flames... what water style can even compare to it... Honorable mention for water and earth release users: Hashirama, you probably know why. For those who don’t know it’s because of his wood release. “oH bUT hE Is A wOOd reLEaSe mAiN” Yes, he uses wood release as his main, but it is incredible that he is able to even use wood release and is able to compete and even BEAT Madara Uchiha. And the reason of his incredible mastery over his wood release is because of his training and also probably because of his strong water and earth release
I quietly cheered when you said my boy Kisame earned the spot for strongest Water Release user . Quick correction though: Kisame is more accurately referred to as the "Tailless Jinchuriki" rather than a Tailless Tailed Beast. Other than that, amazing video. Subscription earned. (would be quite interesting if he was considered to have chakra prowess rivalling a whole Tailed Beast though. 4th Great Shinobi War might've been a lot more messy if he joined the fray) Edit 2: I played myself. He actually was the Tailless Tailed Beast. I gotta rewatch the entire series just to jog my memory now.
You forgot to mention Tenten and her wind chakra infused speed blitz from the chunin exams. I mean mama was moving so fast that her after-images were so perfectly close together that normal people were only seeing her moving at the pace of a minor brisk jog. I mean she was moving so fast that the dust she was kicking up didnt even realize that it waa being kicked up and therefore did not move. The only other time that I have ever seen someone move that fast was when OPM's King had cut the apple in front of Atomic Samurai. So, naturally, the apple never even realizing that it had been cut, simply continuing with its life like nothing ever happened. Tenten deserved at least an honorable mention for her feats. It shouldnt matter that she moved so fast that nobody actually witness it.
Shouldn't Obito be considered for the Yin release spot? After all, he did put a kage, that was also a perfect jinchuriki (?), into a genjutsu that wasn't noticed for years despite the drastic personality change.
What I find to be even more impressive on that note is that Obito did not have the same advantages Madara, Naruto and Sasuke had - all being direct descendants or reincarnations of Indra and Ashura. Obito was just an ordinary Uchiha who by sheer force of will obtained power to rival even Madara, and became the ten tails Jinchuriki without losing his sanity, which is an absolutely insane feat when you think about it.
One thing I’d like to point out is that Kakashi said an element release will ALWAYS lose to the elemental release it has a weakness to. That’s like, never been true.
I really want them to focus more on the other village’s shinobi in Two Blue Vortex. Have them have time to shine. Especially Shinki. He seems to be really strong. Also it doesn’t make sense why the other villages wouldn’t come fight Code considering his goal is world ending.
Amazing video Nick! My favorite Elemental Releases are Fire Release, Wind Release and Lightning Release.I would have liked to have seen Naruto learn more Wind Release techniques!
For fire style shinobi I would say The Third Hokage due to his white flames, yes, we never saw it in the anime or magna but in the short stories and his data books his white flames were a fire style so hot they turned white and were never extinguishing similar to the Amaterasu without the ms
I’m a firm believer that Itachi using Tsukuyomi on Kakashi and, later the same day, Sasuke was an attempt to make them both stronger. They both have sharingan and if anyone knows how to increase the power, or even maximize the potential, of their sharingan it’s gotta be itachi.
I think we slept on A, Darui and the Third Raikage. A all piercing spear that is the only thing to match a bijuu. I feel like this list might focus a lot more on power output and rather the skill, when power output in Naruto is kinda made redundant by the fact Chakra is hacked from chapter 1 by the existence of the Bijuu. When Ninja have to use skill to bridge a gap that is natural. I feel like a technique that can make a lvl 1 character match a lvl 20 is way stronger of a skill level than a lvl 20 character matching a lvl 20.
@NCHammer 23 there is a very interesting theory that Yunami made a video on about 8 days ago and I really want to know what do you think about it, it basically says that Hagoromo and Hamura had some chakra genetically inherited for Kaguya that came from the remains of Shibai when she ate the chakra fruit, and practically that was just half of the ability of Shibai who was no longer in this realm to awaken it, present in her 2 sons. Now that chakra is in Himawari, and she may awaken some new dojutsu just like Boruto did. Have a look, it's an interesting theory.
Speaking of lightning style , I remember when Sasuke first used the onyx chidori against Naruto back in part 1 due to the curse mark at lv.2 , but he doesn’t use it again until the fight against Madara. Sasuke theoretically could’ve used onyx Chidori more before losing his curse mark as well as possible amped variants of his usual chidori variants. Imagine Sasuke using say Onyx Chidori stream , Onyx Chidori Spear or even a potential Onyx Kirin as well as lacing his swords with black lightning or himself for that speed boost. He also would’ve done more damage against someone like juubito , madara , etc with this small addition to his arsenal. Just seemed odd how it was only a one time deal in both parts. I could be wrong , but Sasuke keeping the curse mark and training it to say potential lv.3 ( whatever that would be ) and utilizing Onyx Chidori would’ve been badass and is kinda a missed opportunity!
I think kakashi should have been it for the lightning style spot. He created chicories on his own when he was a kid. He uses lightning to create clones of himself that shock people when they get damaged, not to mention created purple lightning. Purple lightning can be used by ordinary people without the sharingan as well as shocking people from a distance like Sasuke’s chidori current. Sasuke using kirin is so dependent on the weather or using fire release beforehand to create storm clouds.
The only issue in granting strongest is arguing chakra feats against technique dominance / diversity. firestyle - agreed - (amaterasu shouldnt count) Waterstyle - acceptable (i think dismissing tobirama is okay only due to a lack of evidence of him using water style, we see him make like 3-4 techniques of water style) Earthstyle - agreed - lightened and weighted boulder technique is pretty op.. Lightning - agreed - (kirin, chidori, chidori nagashi, also adapting lightning reflexes from A's lightning cloak ) Wind Style - unquestionable - arguable change to come as we learn more about uzuhiko
I remember when part 2 came out and I was so disappointed that jiraiya hadn't taught Naruto wind release or possibly even other releases like I know he probably was focused on the fox stuff but he could have been teaching naruto a bunch of jutsu
For example only 3, no 4 techniques. Like reppoushou( the non hyuaga version of vacuum palm) for non lethal close combat, chakra coating like asuma or even better visually danzo vacum blade like jutsu for lethal short distance. Kamaitachi or danzo's shinkuha ( I don't know if you can do it using hands like kamaitachi). Shinkuha could be used as an ambush technique when yout hands are busy, just like tobirama's heavenly weeping or madara's fang of light and hiding in fire & ash technique. Kamaitachi/shinkuha could be also be user as middle distance technique. For long distance I would choose breakthroug/great breakthrough. Long distance AOE maybe you can focus the wind to something like fang of light or water severing wave, I dont know if its possible. But for sure you can use futon toppa to accelerate already thrown/shot projectiles, even like uchihas phoenix flames. Wind could boost fire and give speed boost to the shurikens itself. Except for lighting since they contradict one another, all elements benefits from wind. Stone debris creates something like sand storms. Shukaku i garaa combos against madara was like that. Water and wind from naruto i yamato. These 3 or 4 techniques would give naruto such a boost to his combat prowess its just insane. Even mirai's sepuuken would be a great precursor to futon rasengan.
You didn't mention several Uchiha and Danzo used Izanagi and izanami. Kisame's spit bubble may have been the largest water style we've seen but he still had to spit. Tobirama used water style with the water in the atmosphere.
Nice vid at first I was upset Itachi didn’t get the yin category but as the video went on it’s true madara has used yin release proficiently and not just with genjutsu but if it was only about genjutsu I say Itachi is the best option because in every fight he uses it it’s his go to thing to do think about it he puts people nonstop in genjutsu when he turns to crows just points at you or if you look into his eyes he gets you not to mention he has Tsukiyomi I know Shisui is a good mention with his Koto but Itachi is more known for genjutsu .
Has @nchammer specifically about the best elemental clans. Like the way the Uchiha are known for extremely proficient fire style. Just the best clans known for the best elemental releases! I started thinking about that after watching the video
Wait, then what would the Inazuka's beast transformation be classified? Kiba grows beast like fangs and claws. Transforms his body into a wolf. Wouldn't "Transformation" Jutsu be a type of Yang release since the form is being played with? Yin is all Genjutsu so it'd be nice to give Yang more than JUST Expansion Jutsu
“Yang release is breathing life into an object”. Can hashirama’s deep forest emergence, that he used to create konoha, or deep forest bloom, that madara used for those pollens on Kages be considered Yang release?
The argument I would say against it, is that wood release is a kekkei genkai which is a combination of multiple releases, and were specifically excluded from the list. However, as others have pointed out, medical ninjutsu is also yang release and were ignored in the list. And if we assume that Hashirama's regeneration is a form of yang release, he could still be in the running (as would Tsunade and Sakura).
Man, if i could be any character, id be madara. Specifically the undead version that has fused with his rivals dna. Even if he isnt the strongest, all the abilities he has would be incredibly useful. Everything he uses could be multiplied indefinitely as well, so just dumping a bunch of susanoo against a utsuki isnt gonna be annoying at least.
now imagine if chogi can learn to perfect the chakra conversion to the point where all the waste of the conversion is internalized and making him stronger yet
Hmm I've got a feeling you know this, but changed the point to better fit this topic ^^ but I'm pretty sure Madara wasn't worried about Oonoki because of the laters jutsu abilities like Dust Release, but because of his rekindled mental strength and fighting spirit and his ability to keep the shinobi motivated to not give up and loose their ways like he did in the past and to keep on standing against Madara no matter the odds.
Sasuke might have more attack potency due to his chakra reserves but Kakashi's Purple Lightning is essentially a perfected Chidori/Raikiri. Kakashi has said before that Chidori was an incomplete jutsu. As a more experienced ninja after the war and during his time as Hokage he makes a new jutsu that can be used just like Chidori/Rakiri. He took out all the downsides to not having a Sharingan anymore and made the jutsu better. Kakashi is a better lighting style user imo
The title should be the best specialists or best users of each elemental release. Sasuke is not as good at Ice Style as Haku but is the strongest character we have seem using ice style
I think Suigetsu should at least he considered for water style. I wouldn't personally argue that he's the strongest but they way his body works in addition to his water style is very deadly.
He forgot the best part about kisame which is that on top of being able to create a giant dome of water in which you can't breathe and he can move faster than you and it drags you away from its walls so you can't break or escape it, IT ABSORBS YOUR CHAKRA ALMOST ALL HIS SHARK JUTSUS DO BRO HAS TOBIRAMA BEAT LOW DIF
Medical ninjutsu is almost all yang release, you are giving life to living things, making cells regenerate, etc. So if we count medical ninjutsu as yang users than Tsunade is probably the strongest user, Sakura is a close second.
Would the jutsu that Lady Chiyo used to bring Gaara back be a form of Yang release? I haven’t been able to find anything online confirming what kind of jutsu it was/if it was manipulation of the barrier between the Pure Lands/etc
I think it was also stated that it could bring puppets to life. Not sure if the soul or personality in such a puppet would be something brought from the pure lands. I don't think it was ever stated. But the possibility is strong, since she did bring Gaara back to his body and not just herself or a random soul. And her thoughts on bringing a puppet back to life was directed towards Mother and Father puppets, which she had a strong emotional connection with as her child.
Okay but I have some questions. 1.where should we put healing jutsu? is it none elemental jutsu or should it count to yang release or to which release? Beacuse if it would be Yang theoretically Sakura could be better or Chiyo with here Revive Jutsu. 2.While we're on Chiyo's topic is Puppeting also a Yang release? Your making something that's not alive, move it like it was. (I know I'm stretching definition here a little bit but still). 3.There is also other jutsu that could count to yang release and that is Edo Tensei beacuse it gives live/energy to something that is not alive, which means also Kabuto could be on this list. 4. Shouldn't we also count Orochimaru and his cursed seals? they are theoretically jutsu that makes him "immortal" So even if he die he can be brought back to live. isn't it also a yang release?
Sick list; I probably would have gone Tobirama for Water Release, his affinity for it was so high that he could use Water Release using only the moisture in the air which is pretty phenomenal. Other than that I might have gone someone else for Lightning release, but I don't think the Sasuke Argument is necessarily wrong. I'm curious though what about Tsunade's Hundred Healings its a Yin technique isn't it, not saying it beats out world wide fake reality, but it is cool.
Is Kakashi's Raikiri: Hunting Fang making lightning TIGERS? I had assumed they were Raiju, which are mythological creatures associated with the god Raijin that are described as "white-blue wolves/dogs cloaked in lightning." It makes sense, considering Kakashi's other unique jutsu is his Ninja Hound Summoning, Kakashi has a lot of association with dogs, and if he was gonna make a chakra animal it probably would be some kind of canine.
Is there a reason why The third and fourth Raikage were not considered for the strongest lightning style users ?! I would bet in a fight where only lightning is used, they would beat Sasuke!
This is great but could probably be even more interesting if we either remove the two MCs and otsutsuki / major villains, or simply restrict to random jounin, OR even include Boruto stuff (since we get more people using the OP stuff)
I thought earth release would have gone to Kakashi as Nick has mentioned a handful of times is city level mud dome thing that stopped lighting release (it’s weakness) for like 72 hours or something like that. Though I don’t remember if that was specifically earth release
Can’t find your email but just realized something about Yamato and tobirama… they have either the same headband which is possible through Danzo… or very similar headband choices… but considering we’ve only seen these two with this headband type (as far as I can recall)… did danzo give tobirama’s headband to Yamato?
I think there is a good argument for the third raikage being the best lightning style users. Not only did he have the lightning cloak but he had the hell stab which is like chidori, plus he had and taught black lightning.
Yes it is yang release . I was hoping someone would mention this.
yes it is yang but i dont think hashirama is actively using yang release it seems that it just happens naturally and its indicated to not use chakra so it most likely isnt yang i believe sakura would be considered the best yang release user as in boruto it is implied and stated she is a better medical ninja than tsunade
Is sai's jutsu yang release too? Cause I guess he is giving life to his paintings?

Naruto's chakra control is absolutely insane. Inventing the rasenshuriken was crazy enough, but then he did Planetary Rasengan on a whim, which is RASENGANS ORBITTING AROUND ANOTHER GIANT RASENGAN. Absolutely bonkers.

@@justinholland6132 i can tell you dont go outside
The many variations of the Rasen shuriken as well as the massive and planetary Rasengan wouldn't be possible if he didn't have a power-up every time.
ugh so lame. Get a life please. @@justinholland6132
Great point
sasuke's ability to move between dimensions is indeed a powerful yin feat, providing him with versatility and the ability to escape or gain an advantage in fights. It's a practical ability that doesn't require specific conditions, making it quite formidable.
It's space time ninjutsu not yin release.
@@Richboyking Space time ninjutsu is yin release

I completely agree with Onoki for earth release, but I think its pretty cool that Kakashi was able to make a Quartz Earth wall immune to lightning release

Remember itachi also did the same thing against kabuto with the water bullet.

@@ajayimoses2495 wasn't that edo Itachi? And it was from his mouth iirc, so not out of thin air.

(would be quite interesting if he was considered to have chakra prowess rivalling a whole Tailed Beast though. 4th Great Shinobi War might've been a lot more messy if he joined the fray)

Unless you’re deidara 😂
kakashi's statement about element release weaknesses is not always true, there are exceptions and various factors that can influence the outcome.
didnt he say elemental release on the same level
I thought he just said that if two releases of equal strength hit each other the one with the type advantage would win.
nah, that's not quite accurate. In Naruto, the strength of a jutsu is determined by various factors, not just the type advantage.@@crumby46

I find Choji being inside of a list compromised of Kage|World level threats incredibly satisfying
I feel like a technique that can make a lvl 1 character match a lvl 20 is way stronger of a skill level than a lvl 20 character matching a lvl 20.
i love your list. its not a cop out like most might do. you actually put thought into it.
Naruto's initial 9 tailed chakra mode was kind of also an example of Yang release
10:11 kisame is my fav character . I was literally holding my breath hoping you would say his name
"But that's boring, and its my video" more beautiful words have never been spoken, that's hilarious, good on you, good video!
Honorable mentoin for yin release has to be itachi due to being able to manipulate time with his Tsukiyomi
You have no idea how long I've been waiting for a video like this 😭
The only issue in granting strongest is arguing chakra feats against technique dominance / diversity.
firestyle - agreed - (amaterasu shouldnt count)
Waterstyle - acceptable (i think dismissing tobirama is okay only due to a lack of evidence of him using water style, we see him make like 3-4 techniques of water style)
Earthstyle - agreed - lightened and weighted boulder technique is pretty op..
Lightning - agreed - (kirin, chidori, chidori nagashi, also adapting lightning reflexes from A's lightning cloak )
Wind Style - unquestionable - arguable change to come as we learn more about uzuhiko
I was not expecting to get spoiled who was the 8th hokage in this video.
I didn't even know there was a 8th already.
But the coolest part about madara is he started off with wind chakra at first. 👍

Kakashi using mud wall is single handedly the great earth release user!!
Ohnoki can make a wall 1000 times bigger his nickname is literally fence sitter
“Yang release is breathing life into an object”. Can hashirama’s deep forest emergence, that he used to create konoha, or deep forest bloom, that madara used for those pollens on Kages be considered Yang release?
The argument I would say against it, is that wood release is a kekkei genkai which is a combination of multiple releases, and were specifically excluded from the list.
However, as others have pointed out, medical ninjutsu is also yang release and were ignored in the list. And if we assume that Hashirama's regeneration is a form of yang release, he could still be in the running (as would Tsunade and Sakura).

Medical ninjutsu is almost all yang release, you are giving life to living things, making cells regenerate, etc. So if we count medical ninjutsu as yang users than Tsunade is probably the strongest user, Sakura is a close second.
Agreed
is medical ninjutsu being yang release confirmed cannon? (even if it's not i'm fascinated by your proposition and agree with the reasoning behind it)
tsunade is a powerhouse in medical ninjutsu, and sakura follows closely behind as a strong user too.

Jiraiya is able to use yin yang release according to data books, not that it matter but for some reason my drunk ahh wanted to hear that lol.
The air mattress in the back???? Bro was on his fiancé NERVES LMAO
According to me, Danzo is the strongest wind user. His fight against Sasuke proved it so far.
That's valid because the shimura clan specialises in wind realese which is the clan danzo is from
Sick list; I probably would have gone Tobirama for Water Release, his affinity for it was so high that he could use Water Release using only the moisture in the air which is pretty phenomenal.

Sure karui can attest to choji being the strongest yang release after witnessing firsthand super expansion jutsu at it's fullest

I think you should do a video about all of Boruto's abilities.... Trying to get the word out there that Boruto isn't weak.
Honestly was thinking of yagura as the strongest water user.
one thing to add to the rasenshriken was madara himself when he absorbed it said "too much energy"
