"Cois abhainn na Séad" (By the River of Gems). sung by Muireann Nic Amhlaoibh, . Brian McNamara explains that Dún na Séad is the original name for the village of Baltimore, west Cork, once a stronghold of the O'Driscolls, Lords of Corca Laighe. Dunasead Castle is a 17th century fortified house in the town. The song tells of the beauty of the village and the sorrowful memories of a past love. McNamara says a version was collected by Séamus Ennis, and that it is considered one of the great airs of the tradition.
