A WW2 JU in a beautiful lake! Absolutely brilliant work HH team.
Thank you Beverley :)
Amazing visibility in that Lake and that ju-52 is in amazing condition, thankyou for taking us along on the journey, thankyou for you all do absolutely love these videos. Those ju-52 were such simple yet very versatile and instantly recognisable aircraft with their 2 wing engines and the nose engine and the corrugated fuselage and wings.
Yes such great explore and loved to share that with you :)
That river is bursting at the seams. Lake IS spectacular. Really great to see BBG and EE in the intro off together to another explore. ❤️ Thank goodness a couple/few of the Luftwaffe planes made it to some museums. What better than to have a professional mountaineer, rock climber, kayaker accompany you. Thank you BBG's friend for helping HH out. That was really something being able to visit the sunken plane with all the contents inside. I wonder how many casualties there were? Thanks for taking us there.
Yes this is a totally beautiful place and that day was pure magic out there. Thanks so much Laura and more to come :)
Seams*
@Just-me-Laura What the Yogi guy is trying to say is that the phrase is "Bursting at the seams". It is a reference to growing out of clothes and ripping them on a seam. I am truly not trying to be a grammar jerk or whatever. I just hate when I do not hear a phrase correctly. Hope you have a great day!
@@The.Doctor.6149 typo. Me bad
@@thomasschimmeyer8715 Hi Thomas, re-read my comment. It was actually a typo.. Damm autocorrect 😑
that lake is breathtaking!!!!!
I know and such a interesting as well. Thanks for watching.
I'm so happy you were able to hold history in your own hands, HH. What a beautiful area, the clarity of the lake is amazing. Thank you for showing this to us, I'm looking forward to Part 2!❤
Yes this was so exciting Cynthia and thank to all the kind peoples support we did it. SO appreciate you being here and we send a greeting from us.
Excellent 👍Always liked the Ju-52! Back in 1990 I was fortunate enough to see one flying at a local airshow, along with the B-29 FiFi. Definitely looking forward to part 2 of this to see more of the fantastic scenery and of course more of the Ju-52!
Must have been so great to see that. Thanks and more to come soon :)
Robert J Miller Airpark NJ by any chance? I was there around the same time and have some photos of the JU-52 and Fifi. Supposedly it was owned by Francisco Franco before he died in 1975. Wonderful getting to actually board that German plane and get a real feel for what it must have been like to fly in it.
No, this was in Ohio
That is a crystal clear picture from the Fifish, some great piloting to get inside the plane. Good to see that you are getting help from experienced people as you venture out further and further. Thanks for taking us along.
yes someone has to guard e you know otherwise i will just do stupid things :) Great explore and thanks my friend for your great support :)
So great to see Bunker Buster Girl on this adventure and nice that she had a friend to help you out with this adventure. It was great to see the water so clear. I would have thought that an environmental group would have removed the barrows by now. Did this plane have wooden propellers that may have rotted in the water and that’s why there not there? Maybe they were taken while recovering items from the plane. With the plane only being a few meters underwater I wonder why it hasn’t been recovered? If it’s in to bad of condition to restore, they could use parts off of it to restore other planes. Now I have to sit and wait for part two to see what you found. You know how to keep us excited lol.
Yes very fortunate that BBG had the chance to join for some days. This aircraft i think was attempted to bring up hence stuff missing ? Anyways , such a great explore and more to come :)
Breathtaking views so clear its a joy and pleasure watching these beautiful time pieces
Glad you enjoyed it
Amazing. I would love to do what you do. To be able to see history upfront and personal. Great job.
Thanks for that and greetings from us.
Thanks for ensuring future generations do not forget the stories of WW2, it is important and provides a factual account of what it must have been like.
Indeed and we thank you for being here with us :)
Good afternoon from Syracuse NY USA brother and family thank you for sharing your adventures with your family and your adventures in history videos
Thanks 👍Earl and very glad you are here with us. Wish you a great day my friend :)
Great find.. Its too bad that someone has salvaged it by cutting into it. I guess the cargo prize is worth more than the historcal find to someone.
It is relatively intact
Yes agree , such a great location and history there. Thanks.
WOW, so much of the JU52 still there 80 years after sinking. That large panel your brought up looks like one of the emergency hatches from the roof of the cockpit, amazing. So nive to see BBG and EE together with you for this explore. That lake looks beautiful, and so peaceful. looking forward to the next episode, hope I can get a signal over the next couple of weeks. Stay safe and well my friends
Indeed Barry , such a incredible place to visit and explore. EE and BB had a blast and we thank you for your great support. Be safe out there and keep smiling :)
Been watching for years and the channel just gets better and better .Great hard work ,and hope theres many more years of great explores .Much Love and stay safe all.
Thank you very much!
That's amazing that plane mostly intact so has there been any thought of raising a plane or planes for restoration as museum display?
10 sunk , 3 left , rest has been salvaged in some way and even some at museums. Thanks.
I really enjoy these underwater adventures. Looking forward to part 2 of this adventure. ❤😎✌️👍
Glad you like them Robert and more to come soon :)
Nice job, beautiful area. Nice to see all of you together on these adventures. Thanks for sharing history with us.

So cool that you could find so much of that JU-55 aircraft under water with those barrels still in the cargo bay! Really glad you took us all into the interior! Beautiful scenery around that lake.
Great explore and just loved that. Thanks.
Another breathtaking new adventure form the WW2 History Hunter team. Great work!
Keep healing quickly.
Your fans need you!
God Bless you and your family.
WE thank you my friend and this was such a great explore. Thanks and greetings from us.
Gorgeous lake. The plane is remarkable. Loved going in cargo bay to see what’s left. Seeing the way part of the plane’s body was constructed was fascinating! Happy to see you gobsmacked!
Glad you enjoyed it Stephanie and greetings from us.
A fantastic explore with the target met, well done. Amazing to see that Junkers still there and so complete after all these years 👍🏻
Thanks 👍
How nice the whole HH team out.
Special that there are so many planes on the bottom of the lake.
Again beautiful underwater images with the ROV.
Yes loving that and it was such a great explore that day. Thanks and ore to come Oma :)
Eagle Eyes and Bunker Buster Girl make this a champion team. Love your work.
That is appreciated my friend and we send a greeting your way :)
9:03 THIS is an overhead luggage rack from a JU52. They were situated above the seats for bags and coats.
I see and thanks for your great support.
A brilliant expedition as always! The trips are getting bigger and the targets enormous these days. Thanks so much HH, EE and BBG, looking forward to the next one!
Glad you enjoyed it
Wow! Can see why you wanted to visit that lake! Was so great you could get the ROV into the Ju 52 for us to take a look at. Looking forward to the next part and seeing the aircraft you unbelievably found so quickly! Glad Bunker Buster Girl's friend was there to assist. Thank him for us for helping out!
Yes , it is a stunning location with all its history there. There are 3 aircraft still down there and we shall share more later. Thanks so much and we send a greeting from us :)
@@WW2HistoryHunterMay I ask which country this beautiful lake is in? Just curious…..If you don’t want to reveal where, it is okay! God Bless you both…..🙏🏼🍀👋🏼🇨🇦 Beautiful video!👌🏼

Thank you! Will do!
That was amazing. What a great find and I think it's wonderful that you share these adventures with your family. You are building great memories with them. I think you knocked this one out of the park. Great job History Hunters!
I know , so blessed to do so and thank for being here with us :)
Awesome. Just awesome. Seeing that Ju52 just resting there, almost complete, was amazing. As if she had sunk only a short time ago. Truly a once in a lifetime view. And to see her last cargo still there too. Incredible. Interestingly, those drums weren't the usual 200 litre fuel drums we're used to seeing. So even those are unique, and would be worth recovering. If only to ensure what was inside didn't contaminate such a beautiful lake and river system. Thank you all for all your efforts to bring us such an amazing piece of History. Part 2 looks even more incredible. Cannot wait to see it. Cheers to you all! Stay Well!
Agree , what a fantastic place to explore and to find that there is even better. Who knows what is in those drums. They could even be empty for all we know..Thanks and greetings from us my friend :)
That was so cool. To actually see a World War II JU-52. I thank you so much for the view. Can't wait for the next one.
Ok, this is awesome! Very glad I just found your channel
That is kind of you and welcome to our adventures :)
Another successful dive! Great footage, thank you! Can't wait to see the next vid, looks like you found a Zero down there
What a great location. Thank you for sharing it with us.
Glad you enjoyed it
Is that about the best thing ever??? OMG that is spectacular. I'd be as excited as you if I was there. Thank you, as always for taking me there. Brilliant. Priceless.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Water looks clean and cold. I heard the story of the JU 52s sinking in a lake long ago somewhere. But you have delivered another WOW factor by getting right on them. Congratulations my friends and thank you for sharing. 😊
That place is just stunning and so glad we had the chance to do that and see it. Thanks so much Skimmer for your great support :)
*That* is a really nice location. Besides the gorgeous scenery of course, we get to explore a really cool plane wreck, with the contents still onboard. I'd be really interested in knowing what was in those barrels.
Thank you for this yet again!
Yes Dennis , such a grat place that is , lovely nature and interesting history for sure. Thanks for being here with us :)
Very cool!!! I hope someday they raise it up and put it in a museum.
Thanks for watching.
EE, love your hat. He is growing fast, can't believe he is as tall as BBG already. Nice to see BBG with you on this location. What a beautiful lake. It was great to see the plane, too bad it is covered by so much silt. Thank you for finding and sharing this with us and can't wait for part 2.
Yes EE is outgrowing us all it seems and the other day he said that within a year he will pass my height. Only time will tell i said :) Loved this explore Allen and what a location that is. Thanks and keep smiling out there :)
Thats an amazing video !!!! so complete after all these years . only in my dreams do places like this still can be found..... thank you for your great work .
Glad you enjoyed it
Astonishing find, this was reminiscent of the the discovery of the Titanic. The clarity of the water perfectly displayed the remains of the JU52,as an aviation fan this was just my cup of tea as we British say!! A big thank you to HH,EE,BBG and BBG,s friend!👍👍❤❤
I have been watching your channel now for some years, and for me,that is the most incredible thing I have seen to date!. A massive well done, but why rant they being saved.ju52s are so rare now after one crashed recently and the Swiss ones are all now grounded I believe after corrosion was found in the wings.
Wow, thank you!
WOW...Excellent, Just discovered You. Thank You, Love History..👍
Outstanding job everyone
Thank you Earl :)
You are welcome my friend
Thank you for everything you do! Your videos are always amazing to see. Your passion for finding and sharing history is much appreciated!❤❤❤
Thank you for that :)
Such a cool place. I had heard this about the sunken planes before, but to actually see them is crazy! Well done for getting there and finding them 😊👍
Great place and thanks for being here :)

Sorry have been gone my MS had me down absolutely love your videos love the History Hello Eagle Eye's and Dad 👍

At 8:23 the wooden rails are structural ski rails to keep snow / ice landing ski’s rigid to prevent the ski from flexing under take off load ..
Great dive !!!
Thanks.
That was an amazing episode! I pictured the aircraft sinking nose down and the cargo rising up into the tail section. Great stuff!🤓
I agree such a fantastic place to explore. Thanks.
Thank you again History Hunter. You guys never fail to amaze us. What an incredible episode with the JU52’s. Keep up the great work, and look after yourselves.
Our pleasure!
So very cool ! That last surprise should make a great clip. good work guys
Loving it and thanks Dave :)
So fascinating to see this almost complete aircraft under water! Another great job of taking us somewhere that very few have gone and showing us something that many have forgotten existed! Glad that BBG and EE were along for this adventure as this is a one-of-a-kind find! Can't wait to see Part 2! Stay safe and stay well!
Yes Donald , this is truly a stunning place and there is so much history around there. WE shall share so much more form here later. EE and BBG says hello here and keep smiling my friend :)
Its hull is mostly made from aluminum, so it will maybe decay much slower.
What a beautiful lake and seeing that plane after all these years. Did you happen to look inside the cockpit? Surprised they never retrieved those barrels if there was gasoline in them or whatever. Also surprised the barrels have not ruptured lol. I can't wait to see part 2 and the other plane. AWESOME!!! Thanks for the ride. Stay safe and smile........
yes we did look in the cockpit and it seems as a lot is missing of the gear in there. Also wonder what the barrels are. Loved the location and the explore there. Thanks Colleen :)
The large opening on the top back of the aircraft might of been the rear gunner position. THis was awesome video
Great explore and wonderful location that is. Thanks.
What a incredible find. Just to see that would make you speechless. Fantastic video.
Thank you very much!
What an amazing adventure, great video footage! 👍👍😁
I'm wondering about those barrels though, if they're still full they'll eventually be a problem for that lake.
Wonderful find! Those giant radial engines are a giveaway for the "Tante Junker" or Ju52 tri-motor transport! To see some of the cargo still inside the wreck is fascinating too. Thanks for this video. Keep safe and well too! Greetings from sunny Jamaica!
What a beautiful historical site and even better your discovery. It is truly spectacular when a lifelong dream comes true. Thank you so much for sharing your time and video. Stay well and stay safe. Helen, Kat, Terri and Robyn.
Yes such a great thing when reams do come true. Thanks for being here and greetings from us.
What a special place. Thank you for showing it to us. Thank you for you passion my friend. Take care of yourself though. Stay safe
Thank you, I will
That was mind blowing, very well done indeed. Almost 40 yrs ago in Loch Ness, a British Blenheim was found totally intact, the Imperial War Museum had it raised, the lights, landing gear still worked. It was completely restored and flown. There's a huge problem going on with China scavenging pacific wrecks and selling em for scrap. England took em to court cuz these are war Graves.
It was a Wellington. At Brooklands Museum
@@chipking6036 It sure was, thank you for the correction
Thanks for sharing William and for being here with us :)
Would be heaven kayaking on that gorgeous lake with the beautiful mountain views. That was wonderful you had BBG's friend along with you as he seems to have a multitude of valuable outdoorsman skills, which would come in handy. And he even waded in the water to get a rock to anchor you. The submerged JU-52 was something to see with all those 200 L barrels in the cargo bay. Wonder what was in all of them? William's super claw once again came through bringing up two pieces of metal from the plane, so we could get a better view. So much more to see at that site. I hope that your lungs continue to heal HH and do keep pursuing your dreams. Thank you HH and BBG's friend. 💕
IT was pure therapy to sit there and look at the scenery. Totally fantastic it was and thanks for your incredible support.
Thanks
That is very kind of you Lorraine and we send a greeting and thanks from us :)
That was brilliant, stunning find, I thought the first plane was cool but that snippet of the second one looks awesome. Looking forward to the next one. You being poorly wasn't going to stop you looking for these was it, massive achievement, thank you! 🙂👌
Loved it and yes the second one is a true gem. Thanks for being here with us :)
Awesome video guys, thanks! Interesting if the barrels hold oil I am surprised that they are not leaking.
Yes i wonder what is int hose drums. Thanks and greetings from us.
I'm actually surprised no one has gone and stolen the wing motors, though it does look as though someone did get to the center motor. Really neat place however. Kind of fascinating to see the cargo still in place.
Great explore and loved to share that. Thanks.
Stunning area!
It really is!
Wow what a great find!! Love it it’s still there intact - that’s for bring us along for the great experience
Thank you for that :)
Super cool footage , so interesting to watch. 👍
This lake has so much to tell and very interesting location you have shown. EE end BBG nice to see you together again on these amazing adventures. Also a thumbs up to the friend. The dive was really beautiful, so clear water despite the sand accumulation and current. We look forward to part 2. In our son's room there is also still the commemoration of the Luftwaffe Junker JU52 peace that you made. Thanks tho you all end greetings
Yes EE and BBG had such a blast on this journey and very glad she had the chance to come along for some days. Good to read that the Ju52 piece is with you :) Thanks and more to come :)
Love these water detecting adventures and I know you do too HH. It was nice to see EE and BBG on this part of the adventure, EE is getting close to his sister's height. Looking forward to your special find in part 2 that I know will be coming soon. It's always been until today a mystery to me when you spent time in the service as a submariner yet your passion is flight and airplanes and all those connections to flight. Comfortable on the water with an even stronger passion in the shy's. Great adventure and glad you 3 were able to participate in it. Be safe, careful, and get and stay healthy....
yes actually strange that is but loving both water and skies :) Thanks Ted and we appreciate your kind support my friend :)

Greatly appreciated and we send a greeting from us.
What great find so awesome two see those planes can't wait to see more.
What a flat crystal clear lake 👍👍🇦🇺
I am also amazed it’s still in the lake , why has it not been removed and stuck in a museum somewhere
Yes it is totally fantastic and loved to see that :) Thanks.
I suppose the lake was frozen over at the time of landing? Nice find!

Great explore and loved the location vert much. Thanks.

Amazing…thank you for sharing.X
What a picturesque lake! I really hope those drums are empty. Would hate to think they are full of fuel/oil that will seep out one day. If it hasn't already. Damn that water looks cold, too! Well done HH and team :)
Great underwater footage of the first plane found it was awesome i hope there no deceased crew members still left on board those planes
No one was on the aircraft when they sunk. They were just stuck on the ice and could not take off. Loved this place and thanks so much for your great support that made this possible. Be safe and greetings from us.
Vey exciting . Have you seen the planes they recovered in the museum? Thanks history hunter , bunker buster girl and friend. 👍👍👍👍👍💜💜💜💜

Wow, just wow!!! That was totally amazing to see that ju52 in pretty much in tact condition. I can't wait to see the next one. Thank you for sharing this excellent piece of history with us all 👍
Thank you.
You're welcome!
That was an amazing view the scenery is just wow! And to see the plane still so intact after all these years though I do worry about the contents of the barrel and possible pollution of the lake should they leak.
