    Really enjoyed that adventure HH & EE. Intro was impressive, musically inclined you are HH. Thanks for the pics of the anodized airplane part, so we can see what it looks like cleaned up. You two found a lot of Luftwaffe artifacts - rebar for one of the positions, MG15 cartridge, 1941 coin, aircraft fuselage, equipment shackle, cast iron oven piece?, starter cartridge or signal flare. Amazing finds and most likely many more to be discovered. THEN - the find of a lifetime, of course EE. A Luftwaffe senior officer's belt buckle. No wonder you were laughing your butts off. Gotta love that sheep wool fat. Sure cleaned up nicely. Beyond incredible!!!! Yes, that's what it's all about. Thanks EE & HH.

    One of the biggest confirmations that you are searching the right area is finding the coal. Every time I see you find a piece, I know the hunt is on. The small pieces of the aircraft that you find may seem insignificant to some but it’s actually a part that served in getting the air craft off the ground. The belt buckle Eagle Eyes and yourself found was a magnificent find. Your mother taught you well, never give up, never surrender. I don’t know if you still have it or given it away but it would be a nice gift to your mother for teaching you the determination you have to go out and do this. The buckle is a great part of history.

    • @WW2HistoryHunter
      @WW2HistoryHunter  Год назад

      Yes a single little piece of coal can lead to major stuff. Thanks Anthony.

    What a great location and a great find. Eagle Eyes must be part blood hound. Love the care you take to preserve the find. Will you do a special clean up of the buckle? What type of material is it made of? Love your knowledge of buckle. Your research really pays off. Eagle Eyes, don’t leave home with out him lol. Very special young man.

      The buckle was just lightly washed in soap and water and is very fine even today. EE sure does know to sniff out special things. Thanks Anthony

    That first fitting you found is an AN800 series aircraft fitting. Could have been used for hydraulic or oil fitting or a fuel fitting.

    Love your videos. Do you fear the thought of coming across unexploded ordinance such as mines, grenades, bombs?
