Tested the sun hood and can safely say it does stop some glare when facing the sun. The sides are not protected too much however. I compared facing the sun with the hood on vs the sun on my back to shield light hitting the screen. With my back turned I had more light coming from behind my neck onto the screen. I also used it with the hood off and on in different positions and had a lot more reflections when the hood was not in place. I do think other foldable hoods that cover the sides more and are of a black colour would be better, the good thing about this hood is that it does also protect your screen when stowing away so there is a trade off.
Nice review. It's definitely fit for purpose and reasonably priced... did a review of my own a while back and happy to report that it's still going strong. Some folks don't like the clicking of the hinge, but that doesn't bother me and have had no issues with the hinge after months of use.
HI, I haven't had the chance to fly as yet. I was going to at least take the remote to the yard and try but i felt it was a cheat. I want to see how it affects a real fight including button access. Stay tuned though!

No i haven't but i haven't flown too much in the last few weeks to tell you the truth. There are gaps in the back near the heartsick so hoping that will be enough. If there are any issues i will be posting updates though

Yeah you get used to it but I can why it bothers some. Mine still going strong too!
