I went to see the OntraXS model railway expo

Last week I went to the Dutch railway museum in Utrecht where for the last three days a great event was held called OntraXS.
It is about model railway displays which came to Utrecht by invitation, which guarantees high quality. This year, in addition to the Dutch toppers, it is mainly the model railways from Belgium and France that catch the eye.
In addition, suppliers and manufacturers present their latest products so that people who have this hobby can buy plenty of materials.
As a child I also had a model railway with trains so this event was another trip back in time for me. I love seeing all these creative people at work.
Capturing it in my sketchbook was a bit disappointing this time, although I was able to do something in watercolor again. I also brought my iPad with me, but it still doesn't feel comfortable working. I’ve learned a lot about sketching at such busy events.
