  • To reset your router to the factory default settings, you can Press and Hold the Reset button on your router. However, in some cases, this may not successfully reset the router to the default status.
The methods to do a Hard Factory Reset will vary by different router models. Please visit ASUS support FAQ and find the corresponding method for your router first.

I'm having a terrible issue on my GT-AX11000 RAPTURE PRO. It shows that it's not connected, but it's sending internet to my wired devices; however, it won't send anything to my wireless devices. The WAN light is always red too...
I have 1Gbit fiber from Spectrum and I really like this router's features for keeping other family members out of trouble on such a fast connection. I noticed the troubleshooting flow chart that Asus had online and I'm at the very bottom of the chart, where it says contact Asus support.
I've only had this router for one day and have spent 8 hours trying to fix this strange issue.

On the ASUS AX88U PRO and the ASUS GT-AX6000 I have WiFi turned off by default but when I turn on either router, one of the two WiFi lights remains on (either 2.4 or 5Ghz). Why? Every indication is that WiFi is turned off, yet one light is always on; the only way to turn it off manually is to use the WPS button (set to turn WiFi on and off), turn WiFi on, then after a minute, turn WiFi off, and then WiFi lights are all off. WHY? I can't find any setting anywhere to address this.

Hi, I just bought the RT-AX86S and installed in my home. The RAM usuage is high, it shows 94% in use. Is that normal? I am using the latest firmware. I reset and rebooted router but the RAM does not go down. Previously I had a GS-AX3000 with the same home setup, same devices, and RAM was only 57% use. Do I have a defective RT-AX86S?

I have an RC5300. So, what do I do if the Power LED behaves the exact opposite way from what you describe. Meaning: Instead of going from immediate "on" when power switch is turned on and then to off (or blinking) after 10 seconds of holding the WPS button; it instead displays the power LED as OFF for about 10 seconds after powering up, and then becomes ON (lit) after those 10 seconds. Releasing the WPS button after 10, 20, 30 seconds (or more) never causes it to go off? AS a side note, the power button showing as OFF for about 5-10 seconds is normal for my router. Does this mean something is seriously wrong? I still can't get it to firmware update (auto or manual) for the last three versions. Says it is "Applying Settings, Please Wait".....but that goes on for up to SIX HOURS before I get frustrated and stop the process.

The FAQ link I provided is specifically for the RT-AC5300 and includes pictures.
      1. Turn the power off.
      2. Press and hold the "WPS button" and turn the router on.
      3. Power light is on (keep holding the WPS button).
      4. Continue to press and hold the WPS button for 10 seconds until you see the power LED light turn off or the power LED light flashing, and then you can release the WPS button
      5. Reboot your router by manually pressing the power button.
Find the "WPS button" on your RT-AC5300, kindly refer to the following picture:

RT-AC3200 modem just stopped working. Connect power source > turn on modem > all lights flashes then they trun off, but there is a "faded" light on the WPS.
Tried hard reset: Disconnect power, hold down the reset button for 5 seconds, connect power source, same thing.
Soft reset: hold down power button, same thing.
Any help on this. Looks like a software issue, but unable to determine since its not giving any network, not even turning on (just the faded wps light)
