Thanks for the explanation in the beginning. My router already uses default settings, but I failed to remember my custom password for the admin. This cleared things up for me!

will this reset my nighthawk account info as well as i have my gmail connected to my router and if i reset my router and it resets saying i need to sign in im worried it might cause sign in errors is this a possibility?

Was your nighthawk account set up on the Netgear website? If so, that account should persist if you perform a reset of your router. If you set up that account specific to the login for your routers settings, that will be reset and you will have to create it over again. I hope that helps!

@user-bk8rw4do3y no, if you want to change the password for your WiFi networks, you can do it through your router's settings. Check out the previous video I made that details how to do this: ruclips.net/video/BIujF8q0qBw/видео.html. I hope this helps!

@RachelCarroll-sb3tk I'm not sure what you're referring to, but when it comes to your home network the only monthly charges you should have to pay are:
      -Your monthly internet plan
-Your router if you are renting it from your internet service provider
You shouldn't have to pay any other monthly charges. I hope this helps.
